Perfection!

We stayed here with our friends for our wedding and it was perfect! There was so much room to spread out and the thick walls really kept the house quiet! Lots of street parking and close to everything!

Beautifully Renovated Home

This property was amazing to stay at. It is clean, has everything you need for your stay, and spacious. Two car driveway with plenty of parking on the street. Would 100% book this property again if ever in the area. Close to shops, the beach and restaurants.

Amazing stay!!

The house was amazing!!! I had my bachlorette party here and we all loved it for our chill girls weekend! Super close drive to the beach and only a 20 min drive to an amazing winery. The host stocked tons of extra towels and toiletries too!

Beautiful place

We loved this place. It was so well decorated and clean. The host was great to work with and very responsive. We would definitely stay again. Walking to the beach was awesome!

Family Vacation

This property is wonderful for a family. Great location for a beach vacation at Lake Michigan. Easy access to stores and grocery. Older rehabbed with lots of character. Very nice. Would recommend for families.

Weekend Trip!

A group of friends and I stayed here for the weekend over the summer and we had the BEST time. The place was super clean and cute and it was big enough for all of us to sleep more than comfortably. Overall great experience!!

The home is very nice. Well stocked and very comfortable. We thought we were closer to the downtown area so not much walking to town. Very good restaurants and a short drive to the beach. Great 5 days In beautiful weather! Thank you!

House was nice. Area was not. We heard 2 different shootings. One around 12:30am and one around 4:30am. About a 5-6 shots both times.

Terrific place. Wonderfully clean. Looks just like the pictures. Ample dishes, glassware, pots & pans, spices, towels, cleaning supplies etc. Owners did a very good job!

Charming and Clean

This house is very well kept; clean, charming and beautiful. The design is stunning. This house was perfect for our bachelorette weekend. Living room was large enough for us all to play games, and the dining room table was perfect meals. Four seasons porch and game room were both fantastic little escapes for the introverts in our group, and there were beds for us all. Fantastic home! Good location! Relaxation and fun, both achieved.

Incredible stay in a gorgeous home!

Our recent stay at Mara's property was incredible! From the moment we set foot on the property, we were captivated by the tasteful and intentional decor and impeccable charm of this large renovated home. The hospitality we received from Mara was exceptional. From the moment we inquired about the rental, to some questions we had once we arrived, the communication was prompt, friendly, and accommodating. Mara's thoughtful touches, such as a welcome gift and a comprehensive guide to the local area, enhanced our overall experience and made us feel genuinely cared for. The location was absolutely perfect for our large group - within an hour of South Bend for the football fans, and a few minutes away from New Buffalo for those looking for shopping and relaxation. We will definitely be back!

We loved the house and enjoyed our stay there. Very comfortable and homey. The only thing the kitchen was missing, a tea kettle. Overall, great stay! We’d come back.

AMAZING house both inside and out! Great location!

My girlfriends and I stayed at this stunning find in the heart of Michigan City! We were in town to see a show at the darling Uptown Theater which is walking distance away from the rental. The house is perfect for gatherings for family and friends and features a fully stocked kitchen, a long dining room table and a super welcoming living room with beautiful lighting. With five bedrooms and plenty of beds per room, we all had our own room with space to spare! We especially enjoyed the eclectic game room tucked away on the second floor and the patio – so pretty. And we were able to enjoy a nice glass of wine at the outdoor firepit – lots of seating and privacy. The day after the show we snuck in some shopping at the Lighthouse Outlet Malls located within minutes of the home and later won some money at the Blue Chip Casino which is also minutes from the rental. We enjoyed the local restaurants (so many to choose from!) I would absolutely stay here again – especially since two friends took the electric line from Chicago and we scooped them up from the station a few blocks away. So convenient! And our host was so responsive – she made our stay seamless.
