Stayed here for a week while working in Raleigh and brought my wife and dog along. The house was very clean, in a great neighborhood, and check-in was super easy. The backyard was perfect for our dog, and I felt safe going on early morning runsâlots of sidewalks and streetlights throughout the area.Itâs also in a convenient spot, just a short walk or quick drive to plenty of great food options. The only downside was the dishwasher, which seemed to have some mold from not being used regularly.Overall, Iâd give it a 9.9/10 and will likely stay here again next time Iâm in town for work.
This 3 bedroom, 1 full bathroom, one half bathroom has a fully stocked kitchen for cooking family meals and plenty of living space for enjoying one another's company. This house clean sparkling clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The fenced back yard is great for any fur friends and a lovely shaded deck for relaxing outside. It is close to much that Raleigh has to offer. Highly recommend this house for a Raleigh stay!
Cute, quiet neighborhood with dog walk area down the street. Only issue was a breaker stopped working to the microwave which they offered to fix part way thru the stay.
Our stay was wonderful. The house is spacious and clean and not filled with tchotchkes! The neighborhood is safe, convenient to downtown and the expressways. Andy and Oana are terrific at communication. We will definitely hope this is home is available for our next visit.
We had to schedule a short notice trip and luckily found this place. It was perfect. Very clean, had everything you need, except food... Andy & Oana were very responsive answering any questions we had.. We would definitely rent this house again.
Our family of 4, including two teens, stayed here for a athletic tournament in the area. This was way better than a hotel - everyone had their own bedroom, and we were able to bring our 5th member of the family - our dog! The communication was impeccable for the booking, check-in, and check-out. The neighborhood is cute and an easy trip to a lot in Raleigh. The house itself was cute and what was expected.
loved the location minutes from everything needed for our stay. my furbaby had the bestest time ever!!!! she rolled over and over to her hearts delight. the yard was so peaceful and a nice retreat at the end of the day! Thank you for sharing your lovely property.
P.S. 2 OLD LADIES WERE GLAD NO STAIRS...LOL
The home was very clean and comfortable . It had a large fenced yard for our pups and was in a quiet neighborhood.
The bed was very comfortable; the kitchen was well equipped and the entire home was nicely updated.
The location was convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and all that downtown Raleigh has to offer.
If we find ourselves in Raleigh in the future I would definitely stay here again.
Clean, private, beautiful home close to everything you need for your stay in Raleigh. Pet friendly with huge backyard. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
The house was nice but the outside needs some TLC. Thank god the lawn guy came to cut the grass the second day. Trimming plant growth back in the drive way would be great. So you can get in and out of car . Also front porch weeded and front hedges trim.
Also there was a lot of hair and dust under the couch.
Besides that the inside of house was well kept. The dog loved the backyard. The owners responded back fast .And we had a lovely stay.
I rented this property predominantly for me and my dog while waiting for movers to bring our stuff to NC. I picked this VRBO specifically for the yard. Our dog doesn't like other dogs and I wanted a safe space to bring her for walks. The exterior pictures were quite misleading and I think might have been from when the property was purchased. Everything was overgrown. The grass was taller than my 45 pound dog in both the front and the back. Quite literally I couldn't use the space as advertised. In fairness to the owners they were very responsive and disappointed that their landscaping company hadn't been by, but this was well over a month of growth. I really wish the exterior cameras had been checked sooner or a drive-by of the property was done regularly to avoid this. I checked in on Sunday and I couldn't use the yard until Thursday.
Everything else inside was well taken care of, clean and comfortable. I'd suggest that if you are planning to book to use with dogs to message the owners before check-in to confirm the yard was taken care of.
We LOVED our stay! We have stayed in many short term rentals in Raleigh, and I have to say, this one was the best! The big plus for us was a completely fenced in backyard with a raised deck and grill, which we used during the unseasonably warm days. All the attention to details was much appreciated, i.e., coffee fixings, soap, shampoo, etc were all there. AND THE BED! There were 3, but we only used the master and it was heaven. White linens and towels were pristine. Pillows plump and plentiful. Bedside lamps had usb ports. Smart TV in living room worked beautifully. And it was QUIET. The neighborhood is economically mixed and definitely transitioning in places. Walkers of dogs, babies and exercise were abundant. A car is required to get into downtown and to PNC Arena, where we saw 2 Hurricanes games. I'd say the car into downtown would be for safety in late night, and the PNC Arena for distance. The house had all modern conveniences, with the charm of a mid-century ranch lovingly restored. We will definitely stay again if available for our dates! Many thanks to our hosts for easy communication and amenities provided, and for being dog friendly! Having our dog makes all the difference!
This home is in the perfect location close to the city but in a wonderful quiet neighborhood. The amenities were great for a long stay including laundry detergent, paper towels and all kinds of soap. The owners replied to our concerns about the thermostat quickly but no changes were made making for a frustrating time keeping the temperature where we needed it. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our two dogs.
The things you want/need for staying in a VRBOâŠ.
1). Cleanliness
2). Quietness
3). Comfortable beds
Owner was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again.
The house was clean and comfortable. The hosts were responsive and helpful. The house is close to downtown in a quiet neighborhood. Fenced backyard was perfect for our dog. Will definitely stay here again.
I loved staying here! The home is nice and clean with a great fenced yard for my dogs and one of the most amazingly comfortable beds Iâve ever slept on.
The house was updated and provided everything needed, including a desk to work in one room. One king size and two queen beds. A huge fenced in back yard for my dog. Quiet neighborhood. And the host was very communicative and responsive. My only critiques are minor - perhaps proving a few more towels for quests staying an entire week, consider updating the back deck as some floor boards are lifting, and perhaps allow the guests to adjust the AC setting to their comfort (temp was warmer over night then temp set during day which is less ideal for some). These items were not enough to affect my rating as I fully enjoyed my stay.
