This little place was perfect for what we were looking for. The rooms were cozy and the little outdoor area is private so we were easily able to play some board games outside. I will tag this place for future visits!
It was close to my cousins house so it made it convenient. It was great for our dogs since the yard was fenced off. Kitchen was well stocked. Location was great.
We recently stayed at this charming spot and overall, it was a great experience! While the place has an older vibe, itâs incredibly comfortable, making it feel like a cozy home away from home. The outdoor setting is truly a highlightâperfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery.
The only downside was the lack of a few essential kitchen supplies, which made cooking a bit tricky at times. If they could address that, it would elevate the stay even more. However, I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!
This was very central to everything. Near by freeways easy access. Can walk to trails at back bay a mile down. If you have bikes take them and enjoy. Lovely people and lots of awesome Restaurants. Our place was very private and had a nice yard!
The chair in the living area broke when we lift it up. One of the patio chair legs were old that when a member in the family sat down it bend all the way to the ground. This person only weight 130s lbs, not 200 lbs. Another outdoor chair had a big hold in the seat already cover up by a cushion. The place could use a good cleaning and check on their furnitureâs inside and outside.
The coziness of the images is in reality, simply a dark interior with insufficient light. The vines across the top of the cottage entry were dead, also detracting from basic features. The windows and doors do not function as well as would be expected, with a bedroom door that was very difficult to lock once open.
Amenities included a coffee maker, but the 1990s coffee maker was actually found in a lower cabinet.
No directions on how to use the TVs and no standard cable option.
recommendations to the owner - paint the interior a light color. Improve the lighting, remodel the kitchen with new appliances, counter tops and cabinets. Improve the flooring throughout. Improve the yard area, fencing off the back half of the yard that is primarily dead grass and dirt. Upgrade your furniture and fixtures and you will be able to charge significantly more and stay full more often. Make sure toilets function perfectly.
don't ever ask a guest to assemble an umbrella you just bought for the outdoor area. Trim and upgrade the landscape.
Overall, take advantage of the location and upgrade the property. It will be worth it. Until then, I would not recommend anyone stay there....
Lovely stay at this comfortable little cottage. We were here for a few days to move daughter into OCC and the location was perfect. Quiet neighborhood. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything needed. Vintage feel made it unique. For those staying longer a washer/dryer could be a helpful addition.
