Unwind with the entire family in our stunning newer built River House, perfectly situated overlooking the channel of Lake Tainter in Colfax, Wisconsin. This spacious property comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests with its 4 bedrooms, 5 beds, and 3.5 baths. The main floor features an open-concept design with a cozy fireplace, a recreational room, and a covered patio. Large windows throughout the house provide great views of the surrounding wildlife and the river. Kayaks are complimentary for guest use and shared with our other property. We just ask that they’re returned after use so everyone can enjoy them.

For larger groups, you can also reserve our charming small cabin for an additional fee. It sleeps 4 guests with a queen bed and a full-size bed. While the cabin doesn’t have plumbing, it does offer electricity and is within walking distance of the River House. We are located about 10 miles off interstate I-94. Little over an hour away from St. Paul/Minneapolis (MSP Airport, Mall of America). Wood bury ,MN (Wood bury outlet malls) 45 mins away. Eau Claire, and Chippewa Falls are also about 45 minutes away. 15 minutes from down town Menomonie.

Cottage Winery, Lucette Brewery , Golf courses, Red cedar Speedway, WoodWind Park, Hoffman Hills State Recreation, Valley Pasture Pumpkin Patch, Govin Farm and more family entertainment less than 15 mins away from this amazing property!!!

There are nearby restaurants that are accessible by water or land. Jake's Supper Club, Pioneer Grill & Saloon and Elk Point Resort are easy access by boat or vehicle. Jake's has three decks and a fabulous Tiki bar over looking the lake with live bands every weekend in the summer months. Pioneer Bar & Grill is walking distance from Jake's Supper Club, in a country setting with great entertainment! Elk Point Resort has karaoke every Saturday night and put on the BEST firework show every year on July 3rd. Great food and fun atmosphere!
