We had a great time here. The house was as described. We had everything we needed and the location was great with a short walk to the T and a view of the water. We loved watching the fog roll in and out with our morning coffees. We would gladly come back for another visit here.
The location of the Villa is absolutely stunning. We were staying as a family to support 2 of our sons doing the Boston Marathon. The transport to get around the city was great and we used a Charlie card for the 7 day stay costing just 22. The Villa is a fantastic place to stay and we were greeted by Nelson and his lovely wife and they told us the history of the house and all we needed to know for our stay. If I could rate more than 5 out of 5 - then I certainly would do. It is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed at on several city breaks over the years. Highly recommended and thanks for sharing your beautiful Villa with us. Kindest regards.
Loved being on the waterfront and seeing the planes. Loved the sunroom and balcony. Loved being near the Boston T line and only 10 minutes away from Boston.
We enjoyed staying at this home for a few days after a family wedding. It was a great location and we walked to restaurants and the beach. We also walked to the train station to go to dinner in Boston. The home was clean and beds were comfortable. Nelson and Madeline were delightful.
Our family loved watching planes take off from the airport and the location to the Orient Heights station was great for accessing the city. Nelson and Madeline were great host and very welcoming.
The young boys absolutely loved the sun room and watching the planes take off and land. They also loved the beach combing. I loved the full access kitchen. And Nelson and Madeline are the dearest hosts.
Our family was delighted with the charm of this old house. The check in was great as the hosts welcome you and give you tips and information which is helpful. My husband enjoyed viewing the planes across the harbor. We enjoyed our stay in Boston! Thank you Nelson and Madeline!
Flew into Boston for a few days. House is 10 minutes from airport (huge plus!) but not close to subway system so we ended up using a lot of Ubers. Great view of the airport which was more fun than I anticipated. Cool old house with great character.
Very comfortable, conveniently located, and full of history and art.
Boston natives were very hospitable, friendly and fun. We were able to pack a week's worth of activities in the short time we were there. It would have been just as nice to hang out at the house and enjoy the ambiance and views.
The house was absolutely beautiful and the rooms fit our needs for 7 people staying there . Location of the home was perfect for access to the "T" so we didn't have to rent a car. Nelson and his wife were very accommodating and could answer any questions we had. I'd highly recommend their home for a stay in Boston.
It was great. Interesting period house. Across an inlet from the airport - kids loved watching the planes. Very convenient to the blue line (free because Sumner Tunnel is closed). We did everything on our list of Boston things to do - and more!
I have stayed at this property for business but staying for vacation was much better! My family loved everything about having their own rooms and being in walking distance of either the train or restaurants like Belle Isle (seen on Anthony Bourdain). A bonus is that Nelson is an amazing artist so it was nice to take in the artwork museum style and picking some favorites. We already decided we will try to come back to Boston soon and this is where we will stay!
We had a group of me, husband, 2 young kids, and my 2 cousins. A LOT of room. Very comfortable. Great location. Watched planes, boats, 10 min walk to T rail station. House itself was an experience. Very old with lots of history. Felt that the hosts were there if needed but not intrusive.
This home exceeded our expectations! Charming home was comfortable with plenty of room for our family of 8. Beautiful view of airport/harbor from front enclosed porch. Enjoyed watching ships come and go as well as planes landing and taking off. Nelson and Madeline greeted us at check in and responded to a few questions during the week. Definitely recommend this home!!
Everything was wonderful. Top notch. The only thing I would change is to have a shower curtain for the shower. It ended up being fine without one, but could be a shock for some people at first. But even without a shower curtain, I would stay there again! Great old house, full of character, and so fun watching the planes take off and land over the view of the water. Wonderful hosts!

Great Property
Recently rented this property for a weekend with friends...we wanted a place close to downtown Boston...but not in the city....this house was perfect...5 min walk to the subway....and a short 10 min subway ride and you're right downtown. Also extremely convenient to the airport...only minutes away...with being so close to the airport you would expect to hear airplanes flying over...but that is not the case.
The property was nice...clean home...safe and quiet neighborhood...overall a great experience.

Beautiful home!
We stayed at the Villa at Eastie for a long weekend/mini family vacation. The owners were very accommodating when our arrival was later than usual check-in. It is a beautiful home with well-appointed, comfortable rooms. They think of little extras like info on local restaurants , lots of games and DVDs, and binoculars to view the arrivals and departures at Logan airport located just across the bay. Although close to the airport, the planes are not very loud and not disturbing for sleeping or relaxing. A few short blocks to the Blue T subway makes downtown Boston easily accessible in only a few minutes. (Save the driving hassle and parking expense and take the subway!) Thanks for sharing your home for a lovely weekend!
My family of 7 ranging in ages from 17 to married in their late 20âs went for a long weekend and happened upon this jewel. Nelson, the owner and host, met us and oriented us to his home. He is an artist and his paintings are throughout the home. We found the home clean and comfortable,
with picturesque views across the bay of the Logan Airport and the Boston skyline beyond. THAT was what truly impressed us and would likely bring us back and recommend it to others. Convenient walk to the Orient Heights T-stop puts the rest of Boston within easy reach without the need for an automobile. That said, the single space for off-street parking was appreciated. We enjoyed dinner at Vuoloâs an Italian trattoria in nearby Winthrop less than a mile away.
Thank you, Nelson, for a truly unique stay!
The sheer size and location on Boston Harbor was one of the most attractive features that lured us to purchase the Villa. It's ease to public transportation connecting all the city has to offer without the need of a car, was a real game changer. The view from the sun porch and in the summer months having a glass of wine on the upper balcony is delightful while watching the planes come and go. It is similar to an orchestrated symphony.
