This house was perfect for our stay. We loved the convenience of being on the waterfront so we could take our dogs on the lake in the kayaks. We ate at two excellent restaurants- Angus Grill and Los Pinos winery.

We had a wonderful, peaceful weekend! The house was clean, the views were beautiful, and our kids had a blast on the kayaks and paddle board. We would recommend for a weekend away to anyone looking for a peaceful escape!

We loved our stay! Beautiful lakefront property with gorgeous sunsets enjoyed by the fire pit. Son enjoyed the fishing too!

Be aware that the house is a 3 bedroom not a 4 bedroom that was listed (the listing has since been changed). Be aware that there are only 2 double beds and 2 TWIN beds in one of the rooms (the listing for that has also been since changed). Be aware that the fold out couch that has a queen bed is in the CABIN and not the house so if you do not rent the cabin you do NOT get this bed. We rented this property based on the inaccurate description for our daughter’s wedding party on her special weekend. It turned into a nightmare after the wedding rehearsal and several people ended up having to drive 2 hours home or face sleeping on the floor (my wife and I included). When explaining this to the host he argued with me that I didn’t know the difference in a twin and full size bed until I offered to bring a tape measure. He then changed the listing. Even after calmly and professionally explaining the situation we were not offered any sort of refund. I wouldn’t have wanted a total refund because we did end up letting some of the wedding party stay there but my wife and I paid for the entire thing and spent less than 20 minutes there. Since the description could change again just be aware of all of these things. If you need a 3 bedroom house with one king bed, one queen bed, 2 full size beds and 2 twin beds this place will be fine for you. If you rent the cabin you’ll get an additional queen and fold out couch. Buyer beware!

Short vacation

Great location. Lots of room to spread out. Used the kayaks and fished from the dock. Very relaxing.

Family Weekend

Was a very nice place to stay for the weekend with my family. Didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit because it had been raining and the wood was wet but that’s OK we still had a good time.

Beautiful Lake House

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, clean and well supplied lake house. We fished, swam, used the kayaks and paddle board, relaxed in the hammock, grilled on the deck, and roasted marshmallows in the fire pit daily. The home was well supplied with everything we needed, there was plenty of room for all 5 of us, and the property was as beautiful as pictured and described. Our dog loved it there too!

Bob Sandlin lake house

Excellent lake view property. Stayed 6 nights with family members. Kitchen facilities well set up but could use more large pots, pans and utensils. House was clean and well furnished. Outside could use a little tidying up. About 20 minute drive to town. Overall a great stay and would recommend to others.

A true hidden gem!

This lake house really is a perfect slice of paradise! We were blown away and found the house and location to be SO much more than expected. The pictures are accurate, but you won't believe how serene, peaceful, and private it feels. You can live it up with easy lake access and fun activities like fishing, boating, and kayaking. When you are ready to relax, you'll do it in style while enjoying the view from the large deck, in a hammock, or together by a campfire. It's a tremendous value maintained from a distance by a friendly and professional host. I'm already planning my next visit!

Lake house

Little hard to find. Nice house. The people in the small house next door pretty much took over the boat ramp and dock. We did not get our boat on the water. I believe you should let people know about the neighbors.

What a wonderful get-away!!

Two days was way to short at this really wonderful house on the lake! Very relaxing and comfortable. Nicely decorated, clean and bright and a great air conditioner! Huge deck with amazing views of the lake and sunsets and the stars at night were so bright. Nice grill on the deck for cooking out then stargazing. The property is very large and you have the entire fingertip lot to yourself. You can relax in the hammock under the trees, kayak, stand up board, swim, fish from the private dock or a bass boat is available for rental. We will definitely be going back but staying for longer than two days the next time! It was the perfect escape for the stresses of city life. Thank you Skip for a great experience!
