The “Modern Mountaineer” effortlessly blends premium comfort and modern conveniences with a genuine wilderness vibe. The nearly three acre property hosts hundreds of pine trees that create an environment that is secluded, intimate, and authentically Big West.

The Space:
The 2,250 sqft, 4bd/2.5ba interior spans two spacious floors, providing ample space for up to eight guests to spread out and have a sense of privacy when desired. Everyone can come together as a group in several spaces. The upstairs features an open plan living room-dining area-kitchen with comfy seating for all, including couches, counter, and dining table. The downstairs has its own separate kitchen, dining table, game area, and plush seating.

Inside is where modern amenities and comfort features provide an indulgent vacation experience. The upstairs living room seats large groups comfortably around the flat screen TV. Downstairs is another living room space, with a flat screen TV and desk/work area.

Kitchen conveniences include microwave, toaster, Keurig and standard coffee machines, Ninja air fryer, and all the other essentials to make meal times simple and satisfying. Late-model washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board can manage your clothing needs, and there's a Pack 'n Play and high chair available for families.

Primary upstairs bedroom is spacious and includes an en suite bath, with full complement of hygiene products and toiletries. Second upstairs bedroom features two full-size beds and a large walk-in closet. Downstairs, there are two more bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed and full closet. Contemporary mountain décor is sophisticated and attractive, and fresh luxury linens await!

Turn off devices and mosey outside to fully immerse yourself in the serenity and natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains. A wraparound porch provides picturesque sunrise and sunset views. Comfy lounge chairs all around and a dedicated grilling area and outdoor entertaining space create ideal opportunities to socialize and unwind with refreshments, day or night. The downstairs rear patio has more room to connect with the outdoors in comfort.

The Neighborhood:
You'll love exploring Bailey, Colorado! Less than 60 minutes from downtown Denver and only 40 minutes from the world-famous Red Rocks Amphitheater, this quaint mountain town has numerous dining and entertainment options within easy reach. Castle Mountain Recreation Area and Wellington Lake are a very short drive away, and the ski resorts at Breckenridge, Vail, Copper Mountain, Keystone, and Arapaho Basin are well within reach. Denver is a short drive away if you want to enjoy all the big city's dining, entertainment, cultural, and sporting attractions.

Getting Around:
Denver International Airport is approximately 90 minutes away. As you leave Denver you'll wind through the mountains with exceptional red-rock views. Several mountain towns offer quaint stores to load up on food and supplies. The property is 10-15 minutes from nearest stores. There is a wrap around driveway on the property offering plenty of parking options.

Other Things to Note:
Did we mention the hot tub? No mountain retreat is complete without one, so you can soak away the fatigue from hiking, skiing, and lake activities. It's just off the downstairs patio and spacious enough to seat up to six. Ultra-dark skies make this the perfect spot for stargazing.
