We were in town for a wedding, and this made for a wonderful group lodging. We were able to have breakfast out on the deck one morning - beautiful! The next day it snowed... so we were inside instead. CO weather is no joke!
Tony was a wonderful host. He was very responsive with the check in and with any questions. The Vrbo felt like home after long days of adventures. Home was very comfortable and so accommodating with all of the extras especially the espresso machine. Sunrise over the mountains while having coffee on the deck started every right. The fall colors of the aspens around the cabin were an added bonus
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house met our needs perfectly. The drive to the house was a bit longer than we anticipated though and the ownerâs directions to have all-wheel drive should be followed. Great location for Red Rocks and fall colors. Despite this we have no complaints. Tonyâs communication was excellent. Highly recommend this house in Bailey.
We loved our visit to your cabin. The road to the cabin was a bit rough but given it's quiet location, we handled it. Enjoyed the quiet and the deck with so many Aspen trees We lucked out and had Hummingbirds buzzing around our heads and the feeders while enjoying the beautiful deck. The cabin was clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. We didn't even feel the need to watch TV!!
Our stay was good. This is a lovely cabin high in the mountains- 9,000 ft. The deck had beautiful views, lots of hummingbirds and comfortable furniture. We enjoyed the fire table in the evening. The kitchen had everything we needed and the host communicated timely. However, I had trouble with my allergies. The âNo Petsâ didnât seem to reflect the environment as there was evidence of dog hair and dust.
We were in town for a wedding at Mountainview Resort, which was about a 20 minute very easy drive in Pine. This was perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty with lots of space to get ready for the wedding. Would definitely recommend and are hoping to be able to come back. Tony, our host, was so accommodating and helpful. 10 out of 10 stars!
Our stay was very pleasant!!! This was our first time renting a cabin in this area and Tony was very helpful always responded right away with any questions we had!! I couldnât recommend it enough if you want to get away from the city and just relax
Our family had a wonderful stay at this home. It had everything we needed to spend time together relaxing. It was a great location for nearby hikes each day. The deck had cozy furniture and amazing views. Communication with the host was excellent!
Wonderful home, had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, listening to the birds and watching the hummingbirds. It was great to venture out to hike or to Red Ricks for our concert and then return up the mountain to the peace and quiet. Would definitely considering staying again if we are back in the area.
We loved the house. It was secluded and had beautiful views from the open deck. Everything you could need was there in the kitchen and the downstairs was a fantastic hangout area. We loved the it and will be back!
Stayed here for a few days because we were in area for a show at Red Rocks. Location was great beautiful area and lots of cool places to explore near home. The home is very clean and has everything you would want for a comfortable stay. Would definitely stay here again in future trips to this area.
Absolutely loved the location of the cabin!! House sits at about 9,000â and offered great views. Cabin was very clean and host was very responsive.
We opted to sleep in the basement bedroom to allow our kids (ages 12 & 15) to sleep in the bedrooms across from each other on the main level. Please note, both bathrooms are located in the hallway on each floor, so there isnât a private master bath if thatâs important to you.
A few things would improve my overall rating of the cabin:
1) Blackout blinds in all bedrooms
2) Updated kitchenware (full set of measuring cups/spoons rather than random partial sets for example)
3) Shower water temp seemed to be gauged for a maximum temp that was only luke-warm. Water temp at sinks got really hot, so it didnât seem to be an issue with the water heater.
4) Lower level toilet is very small and not very suitable for adults.
5) requirement to remove trash if you have more than 2 bags. This seems like a basic service that should be included.
Even with these suggested improvements, we very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin offered tons of space for the teens to have their own space. Hundreds of trail options located nearby. If youâre looking for a cabin that is outside of the hustle and bustle of typical touristy mountain towns, look no further!
We are a family who live in Denver and love the mountains! With three young children, this is a fantastic way for them to experience the mountains and for us to escape every once in a while without the kids!
It is easy to get to - one hour from Denver - but is off the beaten path. The road is paved until about the last half mile, and there are nearby amenities, or we can be as secluded as we would like.
Few properties actually border the national forest. While we call this our cabin, it could also easily be a year-round house with all of the comforts of home.
