Great place to stay. Closer to Manhattan NYC. Easy transportation. Safe area to walk and many restaurants in the area. Inside parking at the property. Bus to Hudson Yard NY 2 blocks from the property.
Les points faibles : Emplacement et exactitude de lâannonce
The unit we stayed in advertised 2 bathrooms and a whirlpool/water jet tub, that was the deciding factors on why we went with this place. Get there it has 1 bathroom and no tub. I underatand wanting to control cost for laundry, but 1 towel and 1 wash cloth per person for 4 nights is crazy, I guess I could have contacted the renter, about that and TP but I did not. Furniture was very spartan which I usually like but would have really liked a place to set my glasses and phone instead of on the floor or across the room. We were in the unit mainly to sleep and shower, it covered that.
Nancy and her team were fantastic!!
I had several questions prior to booking due to my friend having allergies and our early morning arrival. Nancy was very responsive and took time to make sure her home was right for us!!!
Even during our stay! Thank you!!!
Check in & check out were as smooth as can be and the home is well maintained!
The apartment was exactly as it was listed, clean and fresh. The parking was somewhat difficult, as we had to open and close the gates to enter and leave, as well as ask the other resident to move their vehicle over a bit in the small gated parking area. Otherwise, it was in a good location, close to where we needed to travel.
Comfortable small 3 BR apartment on the second floor. Easy walk to several bus stops to get into NYC. Well worth staying here. There is also parking behind the apartment. Would come back again.
Dear Nancy,
we enjoyed our stay at your House very much. Perhaps you can provide two more chairs for visitors taking breakfast with a family of four persons.
Thank you
Ralph
Let me start by saying that I would stay here again. We stayed overnight to go to a concert at MetLife stadium. I got a message regarding a check in several days before so that was a good start. NOTE only parking for one vehicle and the spot is right. If you have another vehicle in your party, youâll need to go online to North Bergen parking and you can get a 24hr visitor permit online, itâs very inexpensive. Thing is, hosts donât tell you this unless you ask specifically. Should be info they provide upfront for a 3 bedroom place thereâs likely going to be more than one car! So we get the keys from the lock box go up to the second floor and the keys donât work! Fortunately the host did provide a cell number and I called and I was told that we were moved to the downstairs apartment. I asked why, he said because the second floor one had to get renovations and wasnât available. Yet there were people in it so I donât understand that. Why wouldnât I be told this prior to trying to unlock the wrong apartment door! The host was apologetic & I asked for a credit back & he said he would. When I asked again for it the next day, I was told I need to leave a review first. So hopefully I get it. 1st floor apartment was very nice & still had 3 bedrooms, but only 1 bathroom and a little smaller, if 3 couples staying there, 1 bathroom wouldâve been tight, fortunately it was only me & my 2 adult daughters. Also, soon after checking in the host decided to repair floor w/ loud hammering
Arrival was easy and the interior of the apartment was nice. There is only one parking spot so we had to try to find parking for an additional couple staying with us, there was none! Not enough towels is a small issue compared to having no hot water at all. In a place with a heated jacuzzi this is extremely disappointing. We stayed for a concert at MetLife and came back after a hot July day and I guess blessed with a cold shower if youâd like to see it that way. Also when we arrived back from the concert the indoor hallway between the upstairs and downstairs apt smelled like hot fish, maybe the downstairs apt clients fault? With that in mind, decent distance from MetLife stadium and American dream.
We booked the 3 bedroom 2 bathroom upstairs apartment. When we got there, there were already people in it. We contacted the host and she told us it was a "typo" and we were booked in the downstairs apartment. This apartment we booked (upstairs) had a Jacuzzi tub and big kitchen. The one we were put in had one bathroom with a standup shower. We attempted to contact the host multiple times. Every time we contacted the host they gaslighted us and told us the bottom apartment is bigger and "luxury" and more expensive. She never apologized for the mix up or admitted she did anything wrong. The beds are ROCK hard and there is rust and mold all over the pole in the bathroom. The toilet is not connected to the wall so it moves and tips Everytime you sit down. This was the worst experience ever and even worst host. The hallway also leaked of pot the whole time we were there because of the people upstairs (in the apartment we booked and paid for) partying all night long (I know the host can't control the people and what they do) was the icing on the cake. Worst experience ever!!!
Inside property was just as suggested in the listing. Met all our needs. Wish we had more insight on parking spot. A definite challenge and no street parking without a permit. Also wish we did some more digging on the neighborhood. It was a bit sketchy.
It a choice between 2 hotel room in Manhattan or a short rental in NJ. This was a good value compared to the hotel rooms. Over all it was very clean and comfortable. Parking was off street.

Lovely 3 bdrm apt in North Bergen on the Jersey side. Although a little further from the Hudson, the NJ transit 125 bus is at the end of the street and goes directly to and from the Port Authority Bus Terminal in NYC. The neighbourhood is residential, not fancy, but safe, with a grocery store and restaurants nearby. Everything was clean and worked. A good option for families with older children/teens.
