Step away from the hustle at this quiet home on 5 acres in the high desert of Northwest New Mexico. Enjoy beautiful views of Mt. Taylor and the expansive scenery of the Lobo Canyon valley bottom. This house is a short drive from Grants and is in close proximity to numerous outdoor activities including the newly constructed Lobo Canyon Multi-use Trails. The ruins of the old Cantina Stagecoach Stop are located just West of the house and the property borders National Forest land.
Beautiful location up a canyon road but close to El Malpias and El Morro. Saw chipmunks, rabbits and many birds. This is a clean, lovely property and I would definitely stay here again.
Staying here was a treat. Wish I could take it with me. I am from the SW and this felt like home. Highly recommend to anyone traveling across I 40. Come enjoy the quiet and beauty that is NM.
We stayed for three perfect days. The spacious living room accommodated our snowy day at home wonderfully, we sat cozy and warm near the fire while we planned our next excursion. The generous kitchen allowed us to eat in, with all the utensils one could need. My pups loved the fenced in back yard⊠plenty of running room and easy access from the kitchen. The private canyon location was just right. For those with a hybrid car there is access to a trickle charge out front.
Listing accurately describes the unit, it does not however start to describe the outstanding scenery to get to it nor the tranquility of the home. Itâs nearby the national monuments, Route 66 memorabilia and the continental divide trail. Grants does not a lot of eating establishments but the well stocked kitchen makes meal prep easy. Lovely location.
The photos and description were accurate, super cute. The fenced backyard was great since we had our dog with us. So quiet at night, it was incredible.
Absolutely beautiful! Kid friendly and so peaceful. If youâre looking to unplug & stargaze in a clean & cozy home, this is your spot. You can hear wildlife around you and enjoy no light pollution after dark. Thank you for hosting us!
