âSojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless theeâŠâ Gen. 26:3
PLEASE NOTE: 14 days MAXIMUM STAY! Technology has changed all aspects of American life. Advancements created to help us to be more efficient have in fact caused stress and discord as a result of being âtetheredâ. Sojourn Lodge was created as a place to step away from the busyness of life. Located on 78+ acres of hardwood timberland, we invite you to âsojourn in this landâ and be blessed with peace of mind and tranquility.
The lodge is always incredible this was my 4th trip here. The weather was perfect the scenery beautiful and the house is exactly what is advertised. Mark and Susan are excellent hosts.
This place is great. It is set up for a quite place to relax and get away from the city or to hunt for hogs. I spent a week here and came back relaxed. I highly recommend this place. The owners are some of the nicest people I have met.
It was four mom's needed a little getaway and relaxing. We had a great time, the property was amazing, cabin was great, even when we had a little problem, we were able to contact host and he quickly fixed and everything else was perfect for us. Only thing I'd say the direction after we got off the highway, signs on the roads were almost invisible and the map and google link was taking us down a mile or two past road to middle of nothing. We made several U-turns and drove around before we found it.
Nice cabin! Close to Jacksonville and Rusk. We didn't have the chance to explore the property but our stay was nice. The communication with Susan was great - thank you!
Sojourn Lodge is a very quiet & peaceful place with beautiful trees. The tiny home has a full size refrigerator & stove that we needed as we don't eat out much. The A/C was very cold & the beds were comfortable. The owner responded quickly to any information we needed. We highly recommend this little parcel of peace in the woods with a beautiful 10-15 minute drive to Jacksonville!
We spent a late fall weekend exploring the beautiful property. There are creeks and trails to explore. We enjoyed the outdoors and the fall leaves in the trees. The host was very helpful.
They say âage comes with wisdomâŠâ and we have to agree. Life is finite. Mark and I realized a long time ago that we didnât want to spend our lives tethered to an office with no end in sight. We loved our time away from the city. For 5 years we prayed and searched for our perfect place to disappear. When God opened this door, we stepped through it.
