Michelle was fantastic and such a delight to host. She communicated well, was respectful of the place, and left everything clean. Really enjoyed hosting her and would welcome her, her family and her fur baby to stay with us again.

Hi Rocio, we’re glad you guys enjoyed the space and that the teens loved the basement, We are sorry to hear about the issues with the jet tub, we’ve tested the jets many times with no issues so I’m not sure what the issue may have been but it seems to have resolved its self. It’s quite possible the hot water had been used up in the tank and needed to refill prior to using the tub. Also during the colder months it can take the pipes a bit longer to warm up the water. Thanks again for staying!

We did have a toaster at point, it’s usually in the corner cabinet by the sink we’ll have to check to see if someone may have misplaced it recently or accidentally took it with them! We apologize for the miscommunication with the AC. As we mentioned and tried to explain to you, we did not have an ac unit. We hook up our evaporative cooler for the hotter weeks. During your stay it was a high of 80 and low of 60. We did not have that advertised on our end that there was an AC unit and apparently there was a glitch with Vrbo which we confirmed but they said there was nothing on their end they could do to rectify the situation. At this point you had been incredibly unkind to my wife and accusing us of being dishonest, and even went as far as texting my wife’s personal cell to demand a full refund. You also messaged her during your stay asking about the ac and she was not ever meant to be the main point of contact when she called you to help you figure out the Lockpad. Hence why she had to call me to figure out the AC to give you a response, and was confused about it. Since you made a list of all the things you disliked about our cabin in hopes of getting a full refund even though you and your family stayed the entirety of your stay without a word (and even filed a complaint with your bank in hopes of getting a refund from your bank), I will address some of the things mentioned for future guests to see. 1. Yes the dishwasher comes close to the handle, the cabin is 50+ years old and there are some quirks about it. however we have never had to remove the the drawer in order to access the dishwasher. 2. The large tin tarp by the garage covers the wood stash we have to keep the wood dry so guests have free wood for the fire pit and fireplace inside. 3. The back yard is fully fenced in, our dog, and two children ages (1 and 4) play out there all the time and love exploring in the yard. 4. Our neighbors are all incredibly nice that we’ve met and we come to the cabin often .and have never had a “staring neighbor issue” 5. We never advertised that the basement was finished and we’ve never had “crickets” come up from the drain. The cabin is in the middle of the Tonto national forest. There will be some wild life. We made the basement a fun hangout area with a ping pong table, bar, and sitting area that most families have enjoyed. 6. The light fixture sits on an a line roof and that piece that is not fully connected is simply cosmetic and such a minor detail, no one would notice unless they were looking for something. Our cleaner is amazing and does all the cabins in the area. Since we were not given more than 24 hours to contact Vrbo about the situation before a complaint was filed with your bank, at this time it will be left up to your bank.
