Welcome to the Modern Farmhouse on Walton – a newly renovated 4-bedroom, 2-bath home offering 2,000+ sq ft of stylish comfort in Alexandria Bay. If you’re traveling with a large family or a group of friends, this is the perfect home base: it’s huge, modern, and designed for togetherness. Tucked on a quiet street only a 10-minute walk from downtown’s shops, restaurants, and riverfront, our farmhouse gives you both space and convenience. Inside Space – Open, Airy & Comfortable: Step into a bright open-concept living area with vaulted ceilings and lots of natural light. There’s ample seating on the comfy sofas (all new in 2023) where your group can lounge and stream movies on the flat-screen smart TV. The adjacent dining area has a large farmhouse table where you can share meals as a group of 8-10. Our fully equipped kitchen is a chef’s delight – all-new stainless appliances, a coffee maker + nespresso, and cabinets stocked with cookware, bakeware, and spices. Whether you’re cooking a big breakfast or shaking up evening cocktails, you’ll have everything you need. We even include a starter supply of coffee and pantry basics. Off the living room, there’s a bonus game room/den featuring a game table, board games, and kids’ toys – a great hangout spot on a rainy day or a dedicated workspace for remote workers who need a quieter corner (free high-speed Wi-Fi reaches throughout the house). Bedrooms & Baths – Room for Everyone: With 4 bedrooms, everyone can sleep comfortably. Each bedroom is uniquely decorated and comes with plush bedding and room-darkening curtains for a good night’s rest. Three bedrooms feature queen beds (no fighting over who gets a real bed!), and the fourth bedroom is a fun bunk room – it has a twin-over-full bunk plus full futons, ideal for the kids or additional guests. (In total, the house can sleep up to 12 when utilizing the futons – perfect for multi-family groups.) Both bathrooms have been fully renovated with modern fixtures; one offers a tub/shower combo (great for bathing little ones) and the other a step-in shower. We had a great time at this place, you can tell that it had been recently renovated and was spacious and allowed all of us really spread out if we needed to. The location is great, easy walking distance to downtown and the harbor. All in all I would give it a 4.5 out of 5 star rating

Farmhouse was very comfortable and conveniently located to the center of Alexandria Bay, it is within walking distance, but very much in a "neighborhood." The only concern that was noted was the upstairs bathroom shower didn't work. We reached out to the owner for information, but it didn't work. Might suggest making that bathtub/shower easier to use. Also, might suggest a place to put your luggage in the main room at the top of the stairs. Only one dresser, but if you don't unpack need to leave stuff on the floor. Maybe an outdoor gazebo to be able to sit outside on the porch when it rains. Otherwise, very nice home, loved the games and TVs in the bedrooms. Thank you very much

We really enjoyed our stay. This property is located just a short walk away from the shops and boat tour docks. The farmhouse is spacious and we had fun playing games and visiting in the open floor plan with our family.

Girl’s weekend trip

Booked the property for a girls weekend trip. Inside was just as pictured, spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable & kitchen had all the essentials. Outside could use some curb appeal but renovations inside made it a nice pick for our stay.

Great location, nice size for large group.

Easy walk to downtown Alex Bay with a great little market just down the street for breakfast sandwiches, hoagies, ice, and all the food items you may need. Interior decor is nice with enough bedrooms for a bigger group. Never ran out of hot water!

Great family friendly place

Property was clean and spacious. Downstairs area had a lot of space for the kids to stretch out and play games. The host also provided all basic toiletries if you forgot anything. The property was within walking distance to the downtown area for shopping and restaurants. Each bedroom also has its own window air conditioner to keep the rooms comfortable.

Excellent location; cute touches inside

This home is very convenient to boat launches and the downtown shopping/restaurant area. The outside is yet to be renovated, but the inside is newly redone and immaculate. There are so many personal touches and conveniences. I am a clean freak and felt very comfortable here. Thank you, Mariel and Anthony.

What a place!!!

We spent a long weekend here with family and friends. This was our 1st trip to A-Bay and couldn’t have been more pleased about our stay. The location was perfect and walking distance to downtown with plenty of activities. The house was very roomy, so the 9 of us weren’t all over each other. The kitchen could use a few items such as larger mixing bowls, a mixer, and a slow cooker. I understand most families eat out while we’re on vacation and we could be in the minority. The house came with plenty of Tupperware for leftovers. One thing that amazed me was the sharpness of the knives. Most vacation rentals don’t have sharp knives and this did, so I was happy cooking. The hosts were 5/5 for any questions I asked. We would rent this again and again! AMAZING 1st time in A-Bay!!

We arrived at 4 PM the cleaning person was still there. The entire yard was an eyesore, overgrown grass, and shrubs. There was a dilapidated garage in the backyard with a tarp covering it. The outdoor furniture & deck was dirty. There was a charcoal grill that was disgustingly dirty, and rusted we were not able to use it. The oven in the kitchen did not work. We contacted the host and she offered a 150 credit. There was no regular coffee maker, just an espresso maker that none of us used. The the mini blinds in some of the windows were broken. The overall cleanliness of the house was not that good, many cobwebs inside and out, no attention to detail on the cleaning.The metal frame beds with a 6 inch mattress, were extremely uncomfortable. There was a note on the fridge to leave the sheets on the beds when we left, which we felt like was the case when we got there,….I’m not sure we were sleeping on clean sheets. The house was nicely decorated, and could be very nice but the maintenance on it, inside and out, was a huge failure… two people actually showed up to mow the lawn the day after we arrived. The house was located on a corner of a busy street, however it was within walking distance to town. There was no central air, older units that didn’t work very well, were in the windows.
