Sleep peacefully in the main bedroom, featuring a luxurious king-sized bed and convenient half bath, while the second bedroom offers versatility with a double bed and bunk beds. The main bath includes a convenient tub/shower combination.

Beautiful Michigan Cabin

My family and I had a wonderful space. The house is beautiful, quiet and very close to the beach. We enjoyed bonfires, bike rides, the hot tub and observing nature.

Perfect getaway

Cozy cottage in a really neat, old-fashioned neighborhood. Easy walk to the beach, where we were, most of the time, the only ones there. The cottage had fantastic decor, very comfortable beds, very clean, all the extras, and nearby lots of restaurants and shopping

Cabin near Lake Michigan and playground

Very quaint cabin,short walk to lake, near playground and pickle ball courts, 3 eating areas inside and large picnic table outside with umbrella and hot tub near it. Enjoyed the front porch, back porch and fire pit plus hot tub at night with the lights!

Charming Cottage

Loved the cottage, short walk to beach and good amount of beds. Didn’t use the backyard but loved that it had a firepit and hot tub. We were there during a tornado warning and found flashlights in case we lost power. Appreciated all the hooks for hanging towels and clothes and bottled water in fridge. Only suggestion maybe add a hair dryer. Would stay again.

Tried this Vrbo listing, it will be my last one. Finding mouse poop every where and having to clean the house before we can use it is one of the worse things that can happen to a family trip

Perfect location

Loved the neighborhood- a fox greeted us on arrival and deer visited the property throughout our stay. The wood stove made our small thanksgiving getaway super cozy.

ABOUT THE OWNER

Monica started North Star Properties with one goal. To better serve the Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan Area with a concierge service mentality for short term rentals. From the North suburbs of Detroit she was bred to be in the real estate industry. Both of her parents were entrepreneurs. She watched as her father built Gauthier Corporation, a very successful construction company, which is still running as strong as ever. Her mother started a cleaning company that meticulously made sure every home shined like the top of the Chrysler building. Working for both of her parents growing up, she understands the drive and passion it takes to achieve success. Prior to starting North Star Properties, she sold real estate on the Northside of Chicago before moving to the Dunes and making a permanent home.
