This house was extremely nice and just as advertised it was so beautiful and everything about the house meet our expectations, the owner Mr.Todd was super friendly and there was nothing to really contact him about. The beds slept amazing, the pool was clean and very relaxing, the kitchen was amazing it had everything you needed and more. This was extremely wonderful for my family of 14 we enjoyed our 4 day vacation and were already making plans to come back next year. Thank you so much Mr.Todd for and amazing stay and the most relaxing vacation time spent at your lovely home

Kitchen could use some bigger bowls for cereal and some storage containers. I brought a large skillet to use when you’re cooking for 22 people you need it.We had an issue with a breaker a few times for refrigerator, might be something that needs to be addressed. All in all it was a good place and I probably would return with my family.

This place was very accommodating with space, amenities and all the extra things you could ever imagine needing in that kitchen! Excellent place to stay. Will keep it in mind and share with others. And very centrally located! Loved everything about it!!!

Great house for family fun

Perfect for our extended family get together. Size, layout, and style of house fit us perfectly. Only one suggestion: please supply beach towels. It's a house with a big pool and it's just two minutes from the beach. Beach towels would be a nice amenity to add.

Awesome house

Perfect for large group (we had 3 families) and there was plenty of room to spread out and do our own thing or gather downstairs and back patio as a group. It was everything we were expecting. Beach towels and a mop would be a plus but would LOVE to come back.

Nautilus Experience

Wonderful property for four generations of our family. House had plenty of space for everyone to get together or spread out in the multiple living spaces. Extremely close to the beach and the pool was a great place to relax in between beach visits. Quick follow up from team on questions - including delivering new ping pong balls. Highly recommend this property and look forward to returning in the future.

Graduation/Family Vacation

Great communication with the host. Answered all my question before and during our stay. Beds were very comfortable. The neighborhood was amazing and very family friendly. The beach was walking distance. The house wasn’t ready at the time of check in, the cleaning crew was still there. Other than that, everything else was outstanding. The view was breathtaking and peaceful. The house was beautiful. Most definitely recommend this place.

Wonderful Stay

We truly enjoyed our stay at Nautilus. The pictures online were beautiful, just like in person. Everything was wonderful about the property. The only drawback I have about the property, is that there is an elevator for the mobility challenged, however we had 3 people in our party that use a wheelchair or walker to get around, so it would have been nice to have some handicap rails in the 2 bedrooms/bathrooms/showers downstairs. It also would have been nice to have some kind of ramp to the front door and to the pool in the backyard. This did not alter the enjoyment of our stay, just an idea for future guests.

Destin 2023

The size of house and lay out was perfect for 5 families. I liked the pool, the sitting areas on all floors, the bedrooms having private bathrooms, and the location. It is very close to beach. I loved having the elevator! The ping pong paddles were too heavy and they only provided one ball. It would be nice if house provided games, books and puzzles. I do feel like it needs a bigger fridge for that number of people, another ice maker, another table on first floor, a storage room for beach stuff, better maintained bikes, more pots and pans, bigger pans, and bigger cook top. It would be nice to have curtains over windows too, not just blinds. I’ve been to houses in the past that provided beach chairs and beach stuff. Overall it was beautiful and close to perfect for our needs.

While the weight of a ping pong paddle can be a matter of preference, we respect your opinion on that. We would have been happy to provide additional balls if you had let us know. Most guests are very happy with the fridge, stove size, table size, etc. which are exactly as shown in the listing. As mentioned at the time of booking, our kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc, that are standard for most vacation rentals in our area. Good Family Spot but some drawbacks

Recently stayed at Nautilus with 18 family members. The house is really nice and the location is good. This house will sleep everyone comfortably but it is not set up for entertaining and feeding a large party. No double oven, little to no ice (the fridge ice maker didn't work properly) and insufficient cookware and dishes. The cookware was a college dorm starter kit with a couple of small pots and pans. The previous tenants left the backyard in shambles. We had to fish the patio furniture out of the pool ourselves as well as fix the grill which was turned over in the yard. Another down side is that you will have to provide your own hand soap, dish soap and toilet paper for the entire house. This would be a small luxury for the owner to provide if they are wanting to present a five star standard.

We're surprised to hear the complaint about the lack of a double over, as the listing photos show the standard oven in the property. Additionally, as mentioned at the time of booking, our kitchen is well stocked with a standard set of pots, pans, utensils, etc. The reason for the backyard being in disarray was due to the severe weather storms that Florida experienced immediately before your arrival (as you may remember you arrived during a downpour). As mentioned at the time of booking, we do provide a courtesy starter set, but ask guests to purchase their own soaps, dishwasher liquid, etc. for their stay, as is common practice in the area. In the end, we're happy to hear that you enjoyed the house and location! We wish you the best.

Enjoyable

We had a great holiday and would come back in future and rent your property again. There are a few things that you may not be aware of. 1. Windows were filthy especially kitchen, front and back doors were very streaky. Floors if you left your white socks on or had bare feet your feet and socks were black so after showering you would need to wash your feet before bed. Lighting fixtures were also needing a good cleaning had greasy dust on them. 2. Bikes are not maintained very well. Chain off one bike and back wheels not really great on other bikes when ride the wheels are wobbly . 3. Pool started turning green late Wednesday so Thursday we contacted you have it serviced so weren’t able to use pool Thursday and the lovely lady who did service it said pump wasn’t working properly. 4. Your golf cart doesn’t have much power runs sluggish. Needs charged often. As I said earlier you have a beautiful home and I would certainly rent again but I was speaking to a friend of mine who has properties she rents out and she said she would want to know about how her house is being maintained since you are paying for service and might not be aware of a few things that need addressed. The Nautilus was a fantastic home to host a family gathering. Spacious, clean, comfortable and walking distance from the beach! If we weren't at the beach, we were in the pool! With the backyard facing the east, we were able to sit comfortably on the back patio. Communication on how to check-in, what to expect, what to do and what to do if something went wrong was exactly as detailed in Todd's emails. For example, the golf cart had a flat tire and once the needed repair was recorded as described, the repair was completed as said. If I was coming back to Destin, I would certainly rent this home again. Thank you for your hospitality, Todd.
