Welcome to 26 Duck Hawk! This five bedroom, five and half bathroom home can sleep up to eighteen guests. The home is located on an oceanside paddle lot in Sea Pines - making it a very easy walk to the beach. It is approximately 100 yards to the beach via a private beach boardwalk. The second floor of the home offers ocean views.

**Additional Information**

• Distance to Beach: Oceanside home. Approximately 100 yards to the beach from the home via private beach boardwalk that also includes a sitting area over the dunes.

• Pool Info: The private pool at the home is a freeform shaped pool approximately 21’ x 8.5’ and is partially covered. The pool can be heated for an additional fee - $115/day + tax with a four consecutive day minimum. Please email or call us at least two weeks prior to your arrival if you would like to add pool heat for your stay.

• Fully Equipped Kitchen w/ a Regular Drip Coffee Maker & Keurig

• 8 Beach Towels

• 4,136 Square Feet

• 2nd Floor Sundeck with Ocean Views off Living Room Area

• Parking: There is parking available at the home for up to five cars max. Parking passes are an additional $17/pass/week + tax. The garage is not available for guest use.

Bring mosquito spray! Wonderful for families. Seen on path to beach a doe & 8 point buck. On beach we seen live sand dollar, stingray, jellyfish, starfish and crab! Wonderful experience for the kiddos. Not many shells. The beach is very smooth.

Great location with easy boardwalk to the beach. Loved the partially covered pool and ocean view from the top deck. The perfect house for our 3 generation family vacation - the sleeping arrangements with two bunk rooms worked perfectly.

Excellent location with a wonderful view. Access to the beach was perfect. The house had everything we needed for 6 adults and two small children. The bunk room was great for our kids and even had a small stack of books that we really appreciated.

Great home in the Sea Pines community! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The proximity to the beach and having our own private pool was unbeatable. We were able to see so much sea life—it was AMAZING! (We stayed in the shallow beach area just in case) We saw green sea turtles, schools of starfish, sand dollars, crabs, and dolphins swimming just behind us every day. It was truly incredible. Highly recommend renting bikes to take the trails in the morning :)The home was very clean, spacious, and had an abundance of towels. There were a few negatives worth mentioning: there were no condiments or spices like salt, pepper, sugar, etc, and no extra kitchen essentials such as dishwasher pods or paper towels. We also had to purchase our own cleaning supplies and sponges for doing dishes and hand soap. Another small thing we noticed was that not all outlets were working; however, a quick trip to the breaker box allowed us to flip the switches and get everything functioning again. A pool company came twice during the week, which was comforting as they helped balance the water—especially since the beach was a bit difficult to swim in at times due to the sea life.Unfortunately, the dryer also had something inside that left large black stains/lines on a few articles of clothing. The beds were also VERY firm. Overall, though, the location, oceanfront views, and private pool far outweighed the few negatives for us. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this home!

Great house and location

Beautiful house. Located on the beach in Sea Pines, with your own little walkway to the beach. Pool was awesome and kids loved having the downstairs all to themselves. House is well equipped, even the master bathroom has a steam room option, so cool. Would stay here again for sure.

Great Location

The location of this property is perfect! Private beach access, shopping, & great restaurants! Lots of wildlife which my kids loved seeing! The house is very clean and has everything you need to start. The beds are comfortable and the layout is great because there is privacy on the bottom floor. I would not hesitate recommending this property!

Perfect Hilton Head beach house

Reviewer Comments: We've been going to Hilton head for 25 yrs every year and meet up with all of the family there and this house was our favorite because it had the room and the pool was amazing mainly because most of it was covered. Overheard the neighbors to the right stating how they couldn't get in their pool as it was too hot. Love the decorations throughout as well. The only thing I would say is stick the kitchen a bit more as my daughter is chef and she loved the kitchen but maybe not enough pots but that's actually not a big deal

Mattresses were not comfortable, every bed except bunks had a ridge in middle of mattresses making you feel like going downhill and difficult to get next to sleeping partner. plenty of refrigerators with good icemakers. Overall house was very nice.

The perfect house

We had 13 people which included me and my wife, three children with their spouses and five grandchildren. The house was spacious, had great appointments--especially the pool--and was a super easy walk to the beach (it is on the second row of beachfront homes in Sea Pines on Hilton Head Island. LOTS of inside tables and seating for everyone, and good sized bedrooms for everyone. All the grandkids stayed in the kid's bunk bed room which they all enjoyed. The ONLY knock would be that the pull out sofa that sleeps two in so unbearably uncomfortable that no one can sleep on it. We had four people try it out and said it was beyond terrible. Very thin mattress, hard springs, no pillows or blanket. Plan B was that my son and his wife slept on the coaches upstairs in the family room which was only for a few nights and was fine with them. But just be aware that 12 can sleep here in bedrooms. You will have to make other plans if you plan to sleep the full advertised 14. All in all I would highly recommend 26 Duck Hawk Lane, especially for its location in Sea Pines and the very sparse amount of beachgoers on the beach. Almost like being on a private beach.
