Venez profiter de ce lodge de luxe sur le lac Santeetlah avec plus de 90 miles de côtes niché dans la forêt nationale protégée de Nantahala. Nagez de votre quai privé, faites du ski nautique ou pêchez la truite et l'achigan, montez à cheval, explorez les sentiers à proximité des montagnes Smokey, du parc Joyce Kilmer ou du sentier des Appalaches. Cette maison isolée offre une vue imprenable sur le lac depuis presque toutes les pièces, une cuisine gastronomique avec coin repas, 2 chambres principales, 2 chambres d'hôtes, 2 grands espaces de vie, 3 cheminées, 3 terrasses en bois à l'extérieur, une salle de soleil / bureau et une salle de bibliothèque.

Chaque saison dans les Smokey Mountains est magnifique, sereine et le lac Santeetlah est encore vierge et peu fréquenté. Bateau, kayak, jet ski ou camp sur le lac entouré par les merveilleuses montagnes. La queue voisine du Dragon-311 tourne en 18 km avec des vues grandes ouvertes - est le paradis des passionnés de moto et des clubs automobiles. Ashville, le domaine Biltmore et le ski de neige sont à un peu plus d'une heure. Encore plus proches sont les rivières Ocoee, Cheowa et Nantahellah parfaites pour tous les niveaux de rafting

Perfect Lake Vacation

This is our second year staying at this property. The views are absolutely the best and the house is huge. There is plenty of space inside and out for a large family. The deck down by the water was my favorite spot (when I wasn't in the water). The upstairs bathroom and the basement bathroom also had some updates which was a nice surprise. Lake Santeetlah continues to be our favorite vacation spot!

Clean. Great communication & location.

We had great time on the lake (3 families). Great property, outstanding lake views, and communication is superb. Any issues was resolved in no time. Thank you Raul for all your help and for allowing to stay in your great house. Internet/WiFi is super slow and unusable for media and video calls, but you can survive on 5G/LTE with 3-4 bars (T-Mobile).

Great place to stay

As always, we enjoyed our stay, been staying there for 6 years now. The views and the sunsets are well worth it. It is close enough to town but yet far enough out that you don't notice it. We had no issues this time. In times past if there were any problems they were addressed and fixed quickly. The owner has always been quick to respond to any questions asked.

Great place to stay

This is the 5th year we have booked this house for our family summer vacation. The location is great, nit far from town. If you wanted to ride the tail of the dragon you are not far from that either. The view of the lake and surrounding mountains is perfect. The owners are great and easy to work with. We have experienced minor issues during our stays, nothing that caused us any distress. Send the owners a message and get either a call back or email reply or both very shortly. They are quick to get anything fixed that needs fixing. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Absolutely beautiful home on fabulous Lake Santeetlah. We had a wonderful time just hanging out and using our kayaks. Definitely will want to return next summer!

Perfect!

The views are unreal and the water was perfect. This lake is a 10/10. The side of the lake that you look at is a national forest I believe so it is untouched wilderness. The house was perfect for us. Me, my husband and 4 kids used the basement. There were 2 bedrooms with very comfortable bunk beds, a large living space with deck access and a bathroom. One set of grandparents used the main floor master and the other used the top floor master. Each master had its own sitting room. Then the main floor had a huge living space with sliders leading off to top deck. Kitchen was large and the house has 2 eating areas. The deck by the water is huge and there is a refrigerator down there. Floating dock had tons of space to tie up all of your lake stuff and the water is deep for swimming, diving and all the fun stuff. We had a great time! Hope to rent this house again in the future!!

Fabulous!

This house is located on the lake with some of the best views during a quiet week of fall color. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this beautiful and well-equipped home! It is clean, had so many rooms that there was always a place to get away from others if you wanted. We cooked every night (thank you for the extra fridge in the garage), rented a pontoon, played ping pong and other games. Owner was very responsive to the one issue we had. GREAT STAY!

This is the 4th or 5th year renting this place.

As always the owner is easy to deal with and takes care of any problems if they arise. We had a few issues this year nothing major but they were taken care of quickly. Definitely a great place to stay.

Lake of dreams

Lake of dreams, Lake Santeetlah is my happy place, we have rented many houses over the years on the lake, the best view of the lake ! you don’t see your neighbors and they don’t see you, The house is very charming, accommodating, perfect choice, 100% a five star rental, so much fun for nine days. Thank you, we want to book it next year also, Others have commented on new comfortable outdoor seating, they are correct, and they deep cleaning also they were correct. But that did not stop us and will not stop us from returning to this wonderful home.

Won’t be back!

House needs work has an ant problem. Septic not working right couldn’t sit out on deck to enjoy the view, sewerage smell early morning and evening was gross. Driveway was a challenge to get in and out and gate wouldn’t open when we left so had to go out wrong way. Was a nightmare!

Wonderful!!!!

The location of the house was fantastic. The views and the windows were amazing. I've never seen a lake so beautiful. There was lots of things to do. We rented a boat for the lake, went hiking, white water rafting and on scenic drives. It was wonderful to have a pet friendly home so we could bring our whole family including the furry friends. I would definitely come back. I wish I could live in Santeetlah.....that's how much I loved it. The gardens around the house were also wonderful. Jealous of the hydrangeas. Never seen ones so big with such great flowers. The sunsets were fantastic. Thanks for letting us rent.

Great house

This house would’ve been perfect but there’s a couple things that need to be fixed. 1. I don’t know anyone who has rug in their bathrooms, I’m not talking about a drop rug, I’m talking about the entire bathroom being rug. 2. Buy some nice outdoor furniture it would’ve made the outdoor experience so much better. The view was excellent and the amount of room for the 10 of us was exceptional

Perfect Trip

Wow!! The house, neighbors, activities, and of course, beautiful Lake Santeelah were absolutely perfect! We have pictures from this trip off the deck of lightning , the gorgeous view, and even a shooting star. Perfect relaxing vacation. Love this vacation home!

We are a retired married couple from the busy city of Miami, Fl and enjoy the peace and tranquility that this house provides for us.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

One of the main reasons why we chose to buy is because of the national preserve in front of the house. The view that you see will never change; so you have no worries of any other houses destroying your gorgeous outdoors views.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Being right on the lake is very nice and convenient. We park the boat on the dock and its ready to go in the morning no dealing with the dock master. just in the boat and out to enjoy the beautiful lake.
