Reel'em Inn is a cozy river front fishing cottage on the Cashie River.

Cozy cottage retreat with fishing, canoeing, duck hunting, or just lazy day boating right outside the door. Or just sit on the deck and relax while watching the river. You can launch your fishing boat or canoes off the private boat ramp. No canoe or kayak, no problem. Cashie River Canoe & Kayak Rentals are just down the road, call ahead if you need them for the weekend 252-794-2001. Take a walk to the Livermon Park and Zoo. Windsor is a bird sanctuary, you can see many of them right outside the cottage. Come and enjoy your time on the Cashie. Check us out on Facebook "Reel'em Inn " ask questions and see what people are doing out on the river.

My daughter and I were visiting family in town for the week. On our arrival, it was really nice to be greeted with a platter full of delicious fresh baked cookies and a gift bag under the Christmas tree full of activities for my daughter. The house was very charming and clean and comfortable. Waking up and looking out on the water every morning and hearing all the birds around was a treat. My six year old really appreciated the tree house and giant rope swing. Our host Marie went out of her way to make us comfortable and we'll definitely be back!

Great setup for my family and I of three. I had friends camping at the cashee River treehouse in Windsor and I'm not a camper so this was perfect. I meant my friends down at the campsite did all the camping stuff but came home to a nice warm house bed

Stayed on a Thur night and left on Sat. Fished @ the house & golfed @ Occano. Peaceful. Great sitting area with comfy old recliner, bright lights, snacks & goodies & a comfortable bed & bathroom.Great !

My husband and I traveled to Windsor in October 2025 for a family wedding. The Reel'em Inn cottage was perfect for our extended weekend trip to North Carolina. All instructions for locating and entering the cottage were very easy to follow.We felt comfortable and at home here. The kitchen was well stocked with dishware, utensils and even some spices for cooking. Coffeemaker, toaster and a few other small kitchen appliances were also available. The bed was comfortable, and bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels and washcloths. We explored the property on our first morning and even met our host who left some very tasty mint chocolate chip cookies in the cottage for us upon our arrival. The setting is just beautiful and quite peaceful overlooking the river. We were only about 15-20 minutes from Williamston, which has many restaurants and a WalMart.We would definitely recommend staying at the Reel'em Inn!

Quiet Calm Restful

The property photos and description are exactly as described in the listing. It was clean and thoughtfully stocked. I could sit on the deck and look at the view all day! So peaceful, quiet & relaxing. The cabin is a perfect size for 2, kitchen was well equipped, bed firm, and just overall cozy! The grocery store is a convenient 1.5 miles. The hosts live across the road and were welcoming and friendly. I could talk with Marie all day! I would definitely visit again!

Outstanding property!

This place is lovely, I would highly recommend it! Boat ramp is convenient, better for small boats. Very clean, and the wrap around porch is perfect for chilling and enjoying the scenery.

Relaxing Lakehouse Setting

Everything was clean and the decor was really lakehouse cute. The porch was really nice in the morning to just sit and have coffee. I would definitely recommend!

Quiet and Peaceful

The place is absolutely magnificent. The neighborhood is quiet. The river comes alive in the morning with all the wildlife. It was a wonderful time. Look forward to our possible next visit.

Great Location

Our son was participating in the NC High School Bassmaster tournament. Location was perfect and the house was just what we needed. The hosts were very kind and generous. We will hopefully be able to make a trip back in the future! Think we have a new fishing spot lol.

We had a great stay at Reel ‘em in! It is a quiet, out of the way location but has great amenities. Well stocked kitchen, snacks, comfortable beds, and super clean. Right on the river - saw herons, turtles, and a beaver. Easy communication. Great hosts. Park, mini zoo, and walking nearby, plus easy drive to Edenton.

Just What The Doctor Ordered

The property was wonderful. Exactly as advertised, clean, easy to find and it was the perfect river retreat. Marie and Mark were wonderful hosts. They were helpful and accommodating. If you want a place to relax and forget about the world for a little while, this is the place to do it.

Amazing from start to finish

The house and property were perfect. Getting up in the morning and greeting the sun over looking the river with a hot cup of coffee
it was tough to pack up and go back home. The property manager went above and beyond to make our say amazing. Thank you!

Awesome!

This is the most relaxing vacation spot ever. Quiet, great scenary, amazing little town. If you want to rest and relax this is the place. The homemade cookies that were waiting for us when we opened the door were delicious. Marie did not have to do that and fresh peaches from her peach tree. She is A+ host. Cottage was clean and cozy. Had everything you could need. Will definitely be visiting again. Do not hesitate, book it now!

Quiet Get A Way

Just my wife & I. Arrived late. Lights are bright. So easy to find everything. Great directions & how to for house. Cute. Great Lake view. Did not catch any fish. I only tried whopper plopper (top water) and regular dark green rubber worm. Lots birds & fish around. Enjoyed beautiful Ocanno golf course close by. Made coffee in the morning. Easy. Treats left for us . Very comfortable recliner. Nice and cool ac. Kids would love tree house & swing. Windsor is small. Great laskas restaurant for Italian. Not a whole lot around. I’d come again

Weekend Getaway

This was just perfect! Being next to the river was wonderful. I loved sitting in the porch swing with my morning coffee listening to the sounds of nature. It was extremely relaxing. I arrived to find snacks to welcome us. Inside was was very clean and comfortable. Marie was wonderful. She even brought a breakfast treat. Communication was great. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I look forward to staying there again.!

Great place to get away from the same old same

We arrived and met Mr. Mark. He was really helpful and super nice. We enjoyed the peaceful calm by the Cashie river. The property was clean and well maintained. We only spent two nights but wished we had more time to stay longer but we both had to go back to Columbia SC and get back to our jobs. My boyfriend was born and raised in the area so he has family there so we will most likely go back to Reel'em Inn again. Thank you Mr. Mark

Excellent in every way!

Words just can’t completely express how excellent this little cottage on the river is! We wanted to have alone family time away from it all, and we literally stumbled across this wonderful place. We’ve never booked anything through Vrbo so we didn’t know what to expect. When we checked in, EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect! Better than the description and pics! We thoroughly enjoyed every second of our stay here. Such perfect porch views of the river, and nature- so many birds and duck families, hubby and our 2 adult kids did some fishing, too. We felt so at home and comfortable in this beautiful and extremely clean cottage. Thank you to Marie for making us feel so welcome and for making sure we had everything we needed. Oh, and the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies were so delicious. :))) We are so happy to have found this place and we look forward to our next time! We can’t say it enough
