A charming single-floor home with a fully renovated kitchen and patio conveniently located near the Warehouse District. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Magazine Street, our guests enjoy the privacy of our location in a commercial area surrounded by local businesses; you never have to worry about disturbing the neighbors after hours! Every bedroom has a Bluetooth speaker, and our fenced-in deck is perfect for grilling, chilling, and relaxing in the jacuzzi.

We had a great stay! The beds were comfortable, the hot tub was hot and the patio was perfect for our dogs to run around in.

The home is adorable and super charming! The host is very accommodating and amazing to work with. This location is very bikeable to anything you’d want to do in the French Quarter and the private back deck with hot tub is perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. The ONLY reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because the beds are not super comfy for me & my husband (memory foam) and the location is very noisy. It is the edge of the Garden and Business Districts so you hear a lot of semis starting at 6am and the garbage comes 2x a week at 330am (not a typo!) if you are a light sleeper don’t worry sleep in the master and it will be better but still noisy.

Very clean and charming historic New Orleans home

The home was well-stocked with dishes, appliances, toiletries, linens, and towels. Very clean and safe. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants on Magazine St. We had a great stay!

Title: Perfect Stay – Clean, Cozy, and Quiet!We had a wonderful stay at this rental! The property was spotless, cozy, and incredibly quiet, making it the perfect place to relax. It had all the right amenities to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The hot tub was definitely a perk—it was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. The attention to detail in making guests feel at home was evident. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Warehouse district retreat

First time in New Orleans, for a downtown experience. Quiet , traffic free area but still local enough for easy access to the French Quarter and casino. Comfortable beds and roomy shower, plus a hot tub that was perfect for the evening with complete privacy. The host, Damon was very responsive and prompt with taking care of the trash pickup issue, which was at no fault to him, it was the city. He was a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for providing such a cozy place!

Nice house in an OK location. Pro: convenient to restaurants, Walmart shopping, and downtown. If you like to walk, you can walk to Magazine street where there are lots of eateries. The house was clean and the rooms were comfortable with nice kitchen appliances. The decoration is pleasant with local-flavor. We parked our car outside the house, the only one residency within the two blocks and there was no issue. The deck/backyard is really nice and is fenced. There is a hot tub in the deck area, however, we did not get to use it during our stay. The owner/manager responded promptly to all of our questions. Con: The house is located in a commercial area where there is trash pick-up daily. The trash pickup truck came around 3 to 4am in the morning while we were there. They were very loud moving trash cans and with people talking loudly. We were usually awaken by them. We went back to sleep afterwards but I can imagine this might be an issue to some people.

Wonderful place to enjoy and explore New Orleans from.

I used to live in this area and feel like it's the perfect blend of short uber distance to the french quarter, walking distance to parades, shopping and dining but far enough from both that you aren't constantly dealing with drunk tourist and other inconveniences. House was nicer than expected based on the area and being a historic home. It was a wonderful Mardi Gras 2024 experience!

Business and Pleasure!

Came to town to take care of some business and also have a little getaway to visit with family and friends. Had a fabulous time and this rental was perfect. Since it is kind of the backside (slightly industrial) area of the lower garden district, it was quiet, not a lot of foot or vehicle traffic yet within walking distance (4-5 blocks) to some bars and restaurants on Magazine St. The outdoor space was also enjoyable to have a little music, cook a little food, and visit around the spa after an evening out in the Marigny. Would stay again in a heartbeat! In fact, probably about 4-6 weeks for a return visit.

Great historical house by French Quarter

Loved our stay! It was just a few minutes from French quarter and Walmart behind us! They had a clean jacuzzi and nice out door space for my two dogs! They are pet friendly and it was hard to find something that accepts two pets and had a jacuzzi and my husband wanted a grill! Even though we ran out of time to use the grill we were mostly in the hot tub!! Only thing is I’m a light sleeper and they do have this place in a commercial location which you can hear trash trucks come by early in morning other than that it was great! My husband and I ended up sleeping in the back room no issues.

Horrible property

This place is a dump. A/C didn’t work, but we were expected to wait for someone to come fix it, while pouring sweat in 90 weather, paint peeling, dirt/sand at the bottom and in the seats of the hot tub. The pictures are very deceiving!We left after about 15 minutes and ended up staying at a nice and clean hotel. Now I’m fighting to get my back. Poor management, not making sure the property is acceptable prior to guests arriving.

Kate, we apologize regarding the A/C issue you had upon arriving. We did fix the A/C and it’s working great now. We were responsive to the issue and tried to come right away, but as you said above, you left within 15 minutes which didn’t give us a chance to assist or rectify the problem. The satisfaction of our guests is very important to us, we would have been happy to promptly address any issues prior to your abrupt departure.

I would not recommend staying at this location. Amenities wise, two of the days we stayed there we had no water. No showers, washing hands, using the bathroom etc. We were given no warning prior to arriving that there was a planned water shut off so we were not able to adjust plans accordingly. Additionally, the hot tub was so overly chlorinated it not only burned our eyes to the point that we couldn’t stay in it for more than 10 minutes, it burned our skin and tarnished jewelry worn in the hot tub, leaving this amenity practically unusable.There should also be a warning to bring ear plugs when you sleep. This house is right next to a “party store” or catering company that has a large dumpster between the house and the establishment. The garbage trucks come by between 3-4am to grab this everyday, which was loud enough to wake each person in the house in every room. The walls were so thin it sounded like men were in the kitchen having a loud conversation banging pots and pans.Really the only positive aspect of this house was the convenient location near magazine street and the nice kitchen appliances.

Hi, Our team is apologetic your stay was less than ideal. We understand that the city's planned water shutoff was not only outside of our control, but uncomfortable for our guests. In an attempt to provide guests with a comfortable solution, we provided temporary access to a separate property during the maintenance period. We were not aware of the disposal services' early morning collections. We will look to alleviate this issue or inform guests going forward. Unfortunately we were not notified of our guests' hot tub experience prior to this review. We have several adept personnel that would have gladly coordinated with guests to address hot tub difficulties. Although nothing is perfect, we strive to provide guests with a positive experience.
