Notre maison de 4000 pieds carrés a été construite en 2004. Il est magnifiquement équipé pour accueillir jusqu'à 15 personnes! Notre maison borde le célèbre parc d'état de Whitefish Dunes avec la plage privée de sable. Ce n'est pas directement sur l'eau, mais notre plage de sable privée est à seulement 2 minutes à pied (ou 326 pieds) de notre porte. Situé dans une zone exclusive et isolée, bordant un parc national (parc de 1000 acres), à seulement 15-20 minutes des boutiques du village pittoresque. Faites de la randonnée, du vélo ou du ski de fond devant votre porte!

Perfect for large families or groups.

This house is huge, location for guests that want to do outdoor activities is amazing. The game room is perfect for raining days or for the guests that don't want to do the outdoor activities. We really liked the fact of how secluded the house was. Highly recommended!0p

Family Gathering

If you have a large group looking to get together in a beautiful part of the country, this is the place for you. Plenty of room with 6 bedrooms and easy access to a fantastic beach. The beach made our 2 year old grandson's day which allows small children to get in the shallow water or just play in the beautiful sand. The owner is responsive, flexible, and will do everything possible to make it an awesome stay.

Amazing location

What a perfect place to stay in Door County! There were nine of us and we had plenty of room to spread out. The house was great, but the location and beach were absolutely amazing. Very quiet and private. The beach was one of the nicest we’ve been to in the US. The sand was so clean and soft. We had a lot of fun in the game room and just relaxing on the deck. Fred was a great host…responded quickly and friendly. Thank you for a great stay!

Great Family Getaway

The location was excellent, very close to state and County Parks, and just a short walk to the beach. It rained our first night, but we had so much fun in the game room that it didn't matter. Overall great experience.

Terrific Beach

The property was nice, but a little run-down. Fred, the facility manager was very responsive to our issues. The downstairs bedrooms could use some curtains. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with lots of different options for the family. The best part was the beautiful, private beach.

Beach + games

There was so much space for our multigeneration family vacation. The whole family loved the beach and the well appointed game room. The kitchen/family room was so roomy. We're already thinking about coming back for the fall colors and more fishing in the creek. The property manager was so timely with answers to questions.

Summer vacation in Door County.

This property is amazing! Great neighborhood, great location to the beach, which is literally across the street, and great access to the neighboring state park. Very quiet, peaceful area. The majority of the traffic is people walking their dogs. We had a great time while at the property. It had everything we needed for cooking meals. The basement/game room was an added bonus. My girls loved it! This was also a great location to go exploring the rest of Door County. We would definitely come back and stay here again. Communication with the property manager was great. Hope to come back some day!

Spacious and excellent location

The house is very spacious for a family with grown children and toddlers. It was ideal for our family. We enjoyed the game room as well as the quiet beach. The kitchen was large enough to prepare meals for the group. It was listed; therefore not a surprise to us, but I’ve never rented a VRBO with such limited linens. Yes, we could have purchased the service but it was at an excessive price. While the house was perfectly laid out, there was a shift in the foundation that was extreme. The property manager was excellent with communication and accommodated our needs.

Lake House

Love this area because of the beach. We spent every day there that we could. We had a great time! Thank you for sharing the house. The trail to the beach was manageable but not if you have mobility issues. The renters next door allowed a member of our group to use their beach access. The property manager was super responsive when we had a few minor issues the on the first day there. Immediately responded to questions. He offered us free kayaks for 2 days of our stay for the inconvenience. That was very generous, and we used them to kayak to a shipwreck just off of Cave Point. Being at the end of the road made for a very quiet stay and great access to Whitefish Dunes State Park trails. We enjoyed the fire pit and appreciated the firewood. We had plenty of room for 6 adults and 5 teens. The lower level game room was huge hit. Glad we took advantage of the linen service with a group our size.

Great location!

The house was nice and spacious for our group and had all the amenities mentioned. The house is secluded and very private and the beach was absolute perfection. The property manager was extremely responsive and took good care of us. Three small items that I would have changed: The basement seemed to have an issue with bugs in the bathroom and a distinct damp odor in the two bedrooms. While the beach is just as close as described, it is through woods and up and down tricky terrain requiring you to hold on to trees to travers. If you have small children that need to be carried or elderly in your party, it will be a problem. The property manager did offer us up another alternate route which was greatly appreciated, but was only available because the other house wasn't rented that week. This one is minor, but the lock instructions didn't work for us upon arrival or departure. The property manager came right over to let us in though, so I think just updating the instructions might help.

Wonderful family vacation

Ten of us stayed here for a week — 2 grandparents, 4 parents and 4 kids ranging in age from 9-13. The house worked really well for us! The game room was a hit with the kids and adults. The kitchen is large and probably the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had in the 14 years since we’ve been renting houses. There was plenty of room for several of us to be working in the kitchen at the same time. The beds were all comfortable and the three zone AC worked perfectly. We absolutely loved the beach. It was a very short walk from the house. I (71 y/o) managed it without a problem. There was only one spot that was a little tricky but I was able to negotiate it with the help of a couple well-placed trees. Someone else might need an arm to hold on to. Cave Point park was amazing and beautiful and some in our family enjoyed the 2-mile walk from the house to the park that winds through the woods and along the lake.

Private beach

The private beach and location at the foot of the Whitefish Dunes park is unbeatable. The house was big enough for our group of 11. We’ve stayed here a couple times now. The house is not maintained very well. Among some other items of disrepair basement bedrooms have no window coverings so is excessively bright in the morning. $400 linen fee and you only get 2 dish towels and 4 hand towels (which were for communal use in the bathrooms) for 11 people. Location/beach is what brought us back, not the condition of the home. New property manager is super responsive. Last year the owner actually double booked the place and didn’t change the lock code so another family was in the property when we arrived last year. We booked through VRBO and they booked direct so he honored our reservation. That was a mess. Glad it’s in the property manager’s hands now.

Door County Beach Retreat

Lovely, spacious home. Bordering on the State Park. Private Beach. Plenty of room to spread out inside and on the big deck. Our family group included 10 adults, 18 to 72, and 4 children between the ages of 3 and 8. We all enjoyed cooking together in the big kitchen and playing games in the recreation room downstairs. One thing to remember is that if you need groceries your best bet is to go to Sturgeon Bay. We loved our week here!

Activities Galore

This property has too many great features to list them all. As a three generation family, ages 4 to 72, we found the large game room a big plus. Having access to a beautiful private beach was another. The home is very roomy, which suits a large family (or two?) very well. Just being in Door County is a big plus in itself. So many fun places to visit. Finally, the owner/host is very attentive to your needs

Family Fun

Our family of 11, including 5 grandsons aged 13 to 18, spent a terrific week at the beach. The house is clean, large, plenty of room for all. Master bath shower was a highlight. Downstairs bedrooms and game room were perfect for our teens. The house is simply decorated and sufficient household items are supplied. A couple of things must be noted. The house is built up on a dune. There is no yard for games, etc. There are lots of stairs so carrying in luggage and supplies on a hot day might warrant a cool drink when done! The most challenging thing is getting down to the beautiful beach. The very rustic path through a wooded area and down the dune is daunting to all adults. There are no stairs, only a well trodden path and a couple of steep steps thanks to Mother Nature via tree trunks and roots. Little ones and older folks will need help. Once at the beach it is truly beautiful and worth the effort to get there. The best thing....a nice house by the beach, big enough for our family to be together and make memories for a lifetime!

Great Family Getaway Spot

This newer, exceptionally clean home offers everything you'd want for a family getaway! There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for the entire group (note, there are 6 (!) bedrooms, including 2 in the lower level that contain 2 twin beds each and a queen bedroom in the upper level that also holds a bunkbed). The kitchen, dining table/area, and living space are open to each other and made for a great meal prep and comfortable visiting area. The game room in the lower level (air hockey, ping pong, pool, and more!) kept everyone engaged. The home's location was secluded and since it is right against the back side of Whitefish Dunes State Park, it provided easy access to the park's main hiking trail. The owner was personable and offered lots of great advice about places to go and things to see and do in Door County.
