Summary: Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place located in Central Davenport. It's a beautiful secluded lot surrounded by trees and the house is clean and updated. Equipped with a smart Roku TV for all of the streaming services. Great location just south of 53rd and Jersey Ridge just minutes from Interstate 74 & 80. Also close to a lot of great restaurants and entertainment....This house is a multi family property with a separate unit in the basement and shared laundry room.
We enjoyed our stay in Davenport! The location was great! The home was very clean. Our host, Kyle, was awesome at communicating and super responsive to our questions. I would highly recommend working with him.
This was perfect for our family of 6. Everyone had their own bed, plenty of space to run outside, conveniently located to all that the quad cities has to offer and in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We will return again!
We enjoyed our stay in Davenport. The only recommendations I would have are
1. Maybe note that there are multiple rentals at this property in bolder print. We didnât see that we would be sharing this house with other renters until the sender sent out the email the day before our stay. It is stated in the booking but itâs one sentence and is easily missed.
2. We were very limited on cooking. I would recommend a few more items for the kitchen such as mixing bowls, can opener, a few pans.
Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Over all experience was good. Couldnât sign in to our apps on the TV. That was frustrating. We were there for a reunion. So did spend a lot of time in the house. The lights were confusing. We never figured out how the lights over the kitchen side counter and the fan and light in the living room. Fast check in and check out.
For the 8 of us visiting family in town, this cabin was more convenient and comfortable than getting 3 hotel rooms. The main level has 2 bedrooms, and "no steps" access from the back door, which was perfect for us. The upstairs loft (with 2 sleeping areas ) has a half bath with sloped ceiling that bothered the tallest of us, but no one else minded, (He simply chose to use the very spacious full bath on the main floor.)
We figured which antique light switch activated each light, and determined that a couple ceiling lights were either not working or had old bulbs. There were plenty of lamps, so it didn't really matter to us.
It was Thanksgiving week, so we really put the kitchen to the test to prepare 3 pies and 4 sides made in our foil pans. The kitchen seems minimal, but in the end really had everything we needed. Awesome large sink, new fridge. We did use the washer-dryer in the cellar.
We never saw or heard the person renting the basement apartment and puzzled out how to park so not to block them out of a parking space. It was tricky, but we got our 3 vehicles lined up, leaving them one space.
The rural-style neighborhood was quiet enough for walking, jogging, but only a couple minutes from Costco, restaurants, and other shopping.
All in all this location and property suited us perfectly!
We were in the area for a basketball tournament and the house and location was a great alternative to a hotel room. House was clean, listing was accurate and communication was almost immediate.
Communication with property manager was prob the best Iâve experienced. Property lists an âagingâ grill that I communicated with the property manager and he stepped up and brought over his own personal grill ! Also completed some maintenance we brought to his attention and had great info on the area.
