Located in the heart of the Lemon Bay community, Four Palms Venice is a mid century, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with a pet-friendly expansive fenced backyard that just went through an extensive interior renovation. With over 1500 square feet, this resort home has new beds & mattresses, new kitchen & stainless appliances, new bathroom vanities, new furnishings, new Smart TVs, refurbished terrazzo floors, new interior paint throughout, new outdoor cooking station, new patio, new fire pit area, outdoor shower, and much more awaits you! And close to several Venice beaches!
Private Beach Access: The Venice area has many beautiful beaches to choose from all within a short distance of the house. Most beach goers are subject to public parking near the beach, hence the beaches close to parking areas can get crowded. Four Palms provides you private beach access through a private neighborhood gate just a short distance away on Venice island (code required and provided during your stay). Avoid the crowds at the beach by taking advantage of this Four Palms' perk!
Beaches? Caspersen Beach or Venice Beach are just a short drive away: Venice Beach (6.3mi). Looking for prehistoric shark teeth? Caspersen Beach is just 7.1mi away. If sitting on a pier with a fishing pole is more to your liking, then head over to The Fishing Pier at Sharky's (5.8mi) and cast away. Or take a bike ride on the Legacy Trail from your doorstep all the way to Sarasota if you like! And don't forget your clubs, the award-winning Lake Venice Golf Club (public) is only 6.3mi away.
Spend your days exploring Historic Venice Main Street (5.6 mi), or the classic coastal mid century homes throughout the streets of the James Nolen historic urban plan. Enjoy a fine meal at one of Venice's great restaurants, or a hot dog and beer at Jetty Jacks on North Pier (7.4mi) (or go just a tad more upscale to the Crow's Nest just a stones throw away).

Four Palms Venice comes with an Outdoor Cooking Station complete with a propane grille, new Pizzell wood-burning pizza oven and a Weber charcoal 70th Anniversary kettle grille. Have a pet? No worries we have a fenced backyard and you are walking distance to Shamrock Park (additional $100/stay charge applies).
NOTE: as a pet-friendly resort home, the lawn is kept in a natural state, i.e., we do not use fertilizers or other chemicals on the lawn.
The 5 Star Difference: Personal ownership and use of our homes makes a difference! We use each one of our VRBO homes ourselves for our own vacations. We think that makes a difference and hope you agree. You can expect 5 Star accommodations similar to our other VRBO 5 Star rated properties (BeachWalk #3021103; BeachFront #1006705 (off rental market as it has now become our home!); and Treehouse #625601).
NOTE: There is a motion light/security camera on the exterior of the house with a view of the front door, front yard and driveway. There are NO cameras inside the house or anywhere else on the premises.

Qui vous reçoit ?
Vous ĂȘtes reçu par George & Valerie Martinez
Valerie and George live in Connecticut. Recently retired, our retirement dream was to live in our own homes in different locations throughout the US depending on the season. We were fortunate to start that dream with our Vermont "Treehouse" (VRBO #625601) which we acquired in 2012 (we are avid skiers). We later acquired Beachfront Waterside Getaway in Guilford, Ct in 2016 (VRBO #1006705), a quaint New England coastal town just 30 mins from New Haven and 2 hours from NYC. Most recently in June 2022, we acquired BeachWalk Bungalow on Venice Island (VRBO #3021103) and, having fallen in love with Venice, acquired Four Palms Venice in South Venice (VRBO #3260654) in February 2023. We use all our homes and we think that makes a difference in how they are maintained and decorated. We hope you enjoy your stay in one of our homes!
Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
South Venice is were the locals live! If you want to experience all greater Venice has to offer like a local, then South Venice is where you want to be. Venice Island is mainly a seasonal and retirement community. Each has its own distinctive vibe. Enjoy!
Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?
We own all all VRBO properties and use them ourselves for our own vacation getaways. We also travel and use VRBO listed properties for our stays. We can tell the minute we step inside a VRBO listing whether the owner uses the place themselves or just uses it as a short term rental. The care and attention to detail is obvious on properties that are also occupied/used by owners. We think you will agree.
