Excellent Condo Beach Retreat

The condo was spacious, clean, and well equipped. Location was fantastic. The bed was very comfortable.

Great condo

We had a wonderful time! The condo is equipped with a lot of kitchen utensils. The bed is comfortable. The furniture and decor is beautiful and up to date. We would love to stay here again!

Two weeks of paradise

This is a lovely property within the beautiful Amelia Omni Resort. It overlooks the Atlantic Ocean with the lush landscape of tropical Florida in the foreground. Great restaurants and shops abound in the area. Many were in walking distance. We like to combine our outings with meals at home and the kitchen was well equipped. We look forward to coming back!

Met all expectations... wonderful proximity to the beach, and the pool was well maintained. Beautiful view from the balcony of the living room. The rest of the resort property was not of interest to us, so not having that access didn't matter.

Fantastic! We are happy you thoroughly enjoyed our property and it met all your expectations. 1380 Shipwatch is new to our vacation rental inventory and as one of our first guests, your feedback was especially helpful. One quick clarification for the future: in addition to being able to access the Shipwatch complex pool and amenities, you *are* actually able to access most of the other Omni Amelia Island Resort property as well. For example, you can enjoy the many miles of walking and biking trails, book services at the resort spa, visit the boutiques, dine at the various restaurant options located in/near the shopping village at the resort entrance, or schedule a tee time at Oak Marsh or Little Sandy to golf. The only restricted resort privileges or amenities are the main Omni hotel pool, fitness center, shuttle service, and open play at Racquet Park tennis center (although lessons and clinics can be scheduled.) We will gladly answer any questions about area activities and we hope you will return next time you are visiting our beautiful island!

Great spot. Quiet relaxation

Easy check in and quality furnishings. Only two negatives are no fans at all even in bathrooms and elevator does not let you off at your door. You must carry your suitcases up a flight of stairs. Lots of stairs to negotiate again to the beach. Suggest renting chairs and umbrella.

We are happy that you enjoyed it and found it to be easy to access, relaxing, and high-quality. Yes, there are a few stairs required, both inside the unit (as mentioned in description) and outside (a few from elevator access and a couple sets on the way to the pool/beach.) No guests that we're aware of have had any issues carrying their belongings out to the beach but for those who want to have someone else do it, there are equipment rental services that will set up for you (exclusive discount code available!) Thanks again for choosing to be our guest!

Beautiful updated condo in the Omni resort

We really enjoyed this condo on Amelia Island! We've vacationed at this resort for 20 years now, and this was the nicest condo we have rented. Many have not been updated, but this one was fully renovated. Really liked having a powder room on the 2nd floor. The balcony is huge with a great view. Plenty of seating in the TV area. Bathrooms are nicely done with very good showers. We hope to rent this unit again in the future.

Amelia Getaway

The condo was conveniently located within the Omni grounds and we were able to walk to the local shops, mini golf course and restaurants on the resort. The condo is beautifully furnished and is only steps away from the pool designated for the Shipwatch complex. In spite of our stay coinciding with the busy holiday week, we had no issues finding a place to sit by the pool and the beaches were uncrowded. We enjoyed the charcoal grill one evening for a cookout, loved the turtles meandering around the complex and appreciated the two beach chairs and beach umbrella provided by the condo owner. Destination Amelia was also very helpful in making recommendations for local amenities, like golf courses and fitness centers. Highly recommend this unit!
