Historic Casita Near Beach & Downtown

Our cozy casita is located in the heart of downtown San Clemente near Avenida Del Mar and the beach. Your private studio overlooks the gardens and is full of warm afternoon sunshine and charming, historic details. The beach is a 12-minute walk from your door and the downtown shopping area is a 6-minute walk.
The casita is perfect for 2 guests and while it may be petite in size, it is immeasurable in the memories we hope you will make here. Before highlighting all the wonderful things about the casita, we want to make sure you are aware of a few things before booking.

*The casita does not have a designated parking space but the neighborhood has free street parking. You may need to walk as parking in front is not guaranteed. You are welcome to load and unload in the driveway as needed.

* You’ll be staying in a private studio with a separate entrance and no shared indoor areas. We live in the main house on the property and do our best to give guests their privacy.

* The casita has a bright and airy feel, with non-blackout curtains. We provide complimentary eye masks for guests who might be sensitive.

* We have a dog that lives on the property and roams freely, so guests who love dogs will feel right at home. She will probably bark at you when you arrive, sorry. If you have any aversion to dogs, our casita is probably not a good fit.

The casita is a quaint and charming little studio in downtown San Clemente. You'll have the entire studio with a private entrance and small, non fenced patio overlooking the backyard. The casita has large vaulted wood beam ceilings, hardwood floors, and plentiful natural light. Open the french doors to enjoy your small patio and take in the fresh breeze and late afternoon sunshine.

A cozy bed is essential so we gave our pillows and bedding extra thought. The Queen size non-toxic, Awara mattress will be ready for your arrival with freshly laundered, soft organic sheets and a down comforter.

The kitchen is stocked with cookware and utensils, a blender, toaster, and dishes. We supply natural, high quality body care products as well as fresh organic coffee beans and teas. Additionally, we provide beach chairs, towels and an umbrella to enjoy a day at the beach.

We have super reliable, fast wifi for those looking to get some work done while staying with us.

We are committed to sustainable hosting and make an effort to minimize our environmental impact. We use natural cleaning products and detergents. All of our bath towels and sheets are organic and hung dry when possible. We provide filtered water in an effort to eliminate single use plastics. We have onsite recycle bins and compost containers. We are committed to expanding our efforts in the future.
