Bayside cottage 5 minutes to the beach and the local golf course.
Located in Bayside - Close proximity to downtown Belfast, Lincolnville and Camden. This quaint Bayside cottage has a new master suite addition. Brand new tiled second bath. The property also has a washer/dryer in an attached shed and fully stocked kitchen for your own lobster boil! Quick walk to the beach, yacht club and summer library. Master has private deck.
Had a great time at the Bayside cottage. House was clean and welcoming, and the kitchen had a great supply of utensils, pots, and pans. The location is lovely--within minutes of the bay.
Nice little cottage in a neighborhood by the ocean. Close to Belfast, and lots of other coastal towns to explore. It had lots of towels, linens and dishes. The pictures and description were accurate. The screened porch was nice. We had one problem, but it was resolved by the owner who was very quick to respond.
The house is smaller but clean and in a nice neighborhood not far from Belfast and Lincolnville which are small quaint towns. Lots of places to enjoy Maine Lobster
Really loved the Bayside community.
Cottage close to shore, with nice docks, swimming.
Restaurant, grocery, hiking just a short distance away.
Cottage clean, nicely furnished... nice patio with gas grill was perfect for us.
Thank so much.
Bayside is a great location! One bedroom downstairs and 2 upstairs. Older renters need to be aware that both bathrooms are on the first floor and stairs are steep and spiral as in the picture. 2nd bath is very small. Owners were quick to respond to questions via VRBO, they are new to renting and have a few things to improve upon, but it's a nice house in a nice location.
Location was ideal for excursions from Booth Bay to Bar Harbor. Neighborhood was quiet and great for walking. The proximity to the coast was especially nice for morning and evening walks. The location was out of town but close enough to Belfast to make grocery and other shopping very convenient. The property owner was very responsive and quickly answered all our questions. The only issue was the temperature of the upstairs bedrooms. Getting rid of the heat that built up during the sunny days was difficult and made sleeping less than the comfortable in that area. The rest of the house met our needs for a family of four.
The location is nice and convenient to surrounding attractions. The host was very accessible and communicative. We had an issue with the towels which she remedied in a timely way along with leaving us a very nice bottle of wine to our surprise. The downstairs bedroom was quite cold at night so could use a space heater along with an extra blanket. There is no upstairs bathroom and the spiral stairs are kind of steep. This didnât really affect us but is something to note depending on your situation. All in all, we had a pleasant stay.
We love staying at STONEâs THROW cottage in Bayside. It was our 12th year vacationing in the village & our second year at this cottage. Lovely, immaculate, great vibe. Liz went above and beyond! Will be back!
A note: if you have anyone with walking issues, the driveway is very narrow and hard to navigate when cars are in it. Our daughter with a prosthetic had to use the grass next to the driveway and the next door neighbor found it very disrespectful and put up a no trespassing sign and also had the owner message us. This upset our daughter. So just be warned if you have accessibility issues, please talk with Liz (the owner) first to see if there are concessions to be made with the neighbor.
Other than that, we had a great stay! Thank you!
