Enjoy the charm of this completely updated vintage home. Fully equipped kitchen includes all new appliances (December 2022).

Handy location on bus line, light rail access to St. Paul & Minneapolis downtowns, Target Center, Mall of America, Vikings and Twins stadiums, University of Minnesota, Target Center. Holiday Get Away

We stayed for a few days over the holiday. It’s a perfect location near many of our destinations. House was clean with lots of character. We enjoyed our stay. Would definitely book this one again.

Great Location

We had a great stay. In town for a sporting event and it was a quick and easy ride to downtown. Clean rooms, updated kitchen, and plenty of great areas to enjoy with the nice fall weather. It was perfect for our group.

Twin Cities Disc Golf Getaway

We enjoyed a comfy stay at this cozy house in a peaceful neighborhood. The house is within a reasonable distance from basically everywhere we wanted to go in Twin Cities. I would definitely recommend a stay here when in the St. Paul/Minneapolis area!

Great Friends and Family time

Charming house with 4 bedrooms and lovely kitchen worked great for us. Close to airport and city sites. Owners were great with communication. Nice find in a lovely neighborhood!

Convenient location and an enjoyable stay

Nice house with four good sized bedrooms in a quiet neighborhood. The location is within walking distance to light rail, coffee shops, restaurants and a micro-brewery. Temperature reached near 90 a few days, but each bedroom and the downstairs dining area was equipped with an AC window unit that kept it comfortable.

Wonderful communication!

Hosts were fabulous! Had some issues (older home) but hosts addressed. Steps are very steep and no bathroom on min floor which should be known if getting around is a problem. Appreciated the hosts kindness.

Curling weekend

We were in St Paul for a curling event. The location worked very well for us. The home was clean and comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped. We had requested an early check in and Katie was able to accommodate our request. Overall a very good experience.

Little Brown Jug Weekend

My family usually goes to Ann Arbor for one weekend each football weekend. This year we decided to take in an away game in Minneapolis. The accommodations were perfectly located near the stadium and close to a variety of very good restaurants. Also, since the VRBO is within ten miles of the airportl, it was a fantastic choice.

Clean, quiet and convenient

It was a quick four day trip to St Paul to visit Hamline University. The kitchen had everything we needed. We went to the local Cub supermarket and cooked for ourselves a few times. The area was quiet at night.

Just right!

Property was clean and worked well for a small group of 4 gathering for the weekend. 4 comfortable separate bedrooms. Short walk to fun venues like Can Can Wonderland and Flannel Jacks. Corner store just down the street and plenty of Restaurants and Coffee shops just a short drive away. Katie was very quick to respond. Thanks!

Great spot for a girls weekend

This was a great place for a group of friends to reconnect and celebrate milestone birthdays over a long weekend. We were able to access the property with ease and appreciate that the owner was very responsive to our (very few!) questions during our stay. We used local transit the entire weekend to explore the Twin Cities- the house is on a bus line and super close to light rail connectors. Thanks Katie for offering up your lovely home!

Nice for groups

We had a group of 8 including 4 teens who needed space to practice music and close proximity to Hamline. This really worked out. The stairs are steep though so caution if you have issues climbing or going down since the 2nd bath is in the basement. Quaint progressive neighborhood. Nice to walk around. Close to good coffee like Groundswell and great beer from Surley. Nice drive down Fairview for the southern end of St Paul only a couple miles away.

Beautiful little house

The host (Katie), house, and stay were fantastic. Katie was great about communication and very accommodating for us. The house was very cozy and homey. Updated kitchen was a nice little addition for sure. Plenty of cookware if you aren't planning on going out to eat. One thing I didn't notice on the listing that I was pleasantly surprised by was the cozy little backyard space. It's not huge by any means but it's private and a little overgrown, which I love. Our 2 year old loved rolling around in the grass. There's also a good basement space for unrestricted play. Nothing breakable so a nice little place for her to burn off some steam. Location was perfect too. Quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. My only regret is I didn't get to explore Snelling more as it seemed there was a wide range of little shops and eateries! I would definitely book again!

I have lived in the Twin Cities area all my life, and have traveled extensively with my husband, Curt, and our three (now grown) children. I completed my undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Minnesota (B.A. in Spanish and M.A. in Educational Psychology), and worked at a private 4-year university in the Twin Cities from March 2000 through February 2020, when I took a new position at one of the metro area’s finest community colleges. Curt completed a Bachelor of Architecture degree at the University of Minnesota, where we met as college gymnasts. He has worked in housing design and real estate for several decades. We love everything about housing and hosting! Curt and I started hosting on another popular platform in December 2014, and we are thoroughly enjoying the experience and are excited to join the VRBO community! We have met literally thousands of fascinating people over the years. It has been so satisfying to open our home and share this additional fabulous location with others.

This home is beautiful, all brand new, and centrally located for any number of excursions. It's near several of the Twin Cities excellent private colleges (Augsburg, Bethel, Concordia, Hamline, Macalester, Minneapolis College of Art & Design, Saint Catherine University, University of Northwestern, University of Saint Thomas), as well as the University of Minnesota--both the Saint Paul and Minneapolis campuses. We are 1.2 miles from the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, host of "The Great Minnesota Get-Together," a can't-miss event held each summer. We are within easy access to many sports venues--less than a mile from Allianz Field, home of Minnesota United Soccer Team. And just 4 blocks to the light rail line that will take you to US Bank Stadium for a Vikings game, Target Field for the Minnesota Twins, Xcel Center to see Minnesota Wild, and easy access to University of Minnesota Gophers sports. Easy access to Mall of America via the light rail, as well as smaller local shopping malls.
