Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de lâannonce
Made the best of it
Not a ski in/out. Great Western could have communicated to all tenants staying within the same block of time that Breckâs Peak Nine was closed earlier than the planned last week of April. This was the deciding factor to stay at Trails End. It was a big disappointment to my family as all other families we came in contact with. We inquired if Great Western would cover parking charges for the gondola due to this and were met with silence. The hot tub was also closed. Renter beware.
412 Trailsend meet all our expectations and then some. Property was the perfect size for our family of 4. Location to the chair lift was a short 3min walk and 5min to Main Street. Would definitely come back.
Great location! Quicksilver and Beaver lifts are right in the back of condo, a short walk to down town. Super hot hot tub is on first floor, didnât try the swimming across the street. Love the rustic cabin decor, plenty of clean towels.
Yes, would definitely come back to stay again. Thank you for having us stay at your wonder place.
This condo was a great and in a great location. But sadly the cable didn't work in the living room and the hot water tank only allowed 2 of us to shower. I called Great Western Lodging and they said they would send someone. No one ever showed the first day. I had to call back the second day and they showed up to look at cable and we left for dinner. It was never fixed and no note or message to let us know what they were doing or if they were coming again. Finally by 3rd day they found the key for the hot water closet, the tank was turned down so that was finally fixed. We asked again about the cable and he finally said it was Xfinity and we needed a new box which wouldn't happen during our stay. He said WE COULD move the one from the bedroom to the living room? Really? That is OUR responsibility to move the cable boxes. Great Western was horrible. I would not stay at one of their properties again. If they would have just communicated and gave us status updates I would have been a lot happier
This property is in a great location. Easy access to Quicksilver lift. Convenient and quick for lunch break. Complex provides a room for ski storage but requires a quarter to lock skis. Kitchen updated with new appliances. Perfect size for making quick breakfast and lunch. Beds comfortable. Would definitely stay here again for ease of ski-in and ski-out.
The property felt old and dirty. Scum left on shower from a soap dish that had been taken off and some other bits and pieces that felt like they needed a bit more care. If you just need a place to stay, worked fine. If you want something that feels a bit on the clean and fresh side you may want to keep looking.
Trailsend is an old style condominium at the base of Peak 9 with ski in/out access to the Quicksilver lift. A short walk to the Town of Breckenridge which makes the location ideal. Unit is a 2 bdr 2 Ba. One shower prickly hard (good) the other a slow dribble. Kitchen small but adequate/ I would not plan on cooking big meals. each room backed with beds ( sleeping 4 per room) and living area comfortable. Three smart TVs.
Unit manages through Great Western lodging and you have to pickup and return the keys offsite which is a pain and a sharp return key by 10am. Forget about early or late access. you need a key fob to get into the building and access to the slopes. Overall good to very good for a short stay
