Unable to use pool was not given card fir entry to upper village pool when looking at pool I wouldn't go in it it was totally dirty. Also had broken glass in carpet between bdr and bath had to dig out glass stuck in my foot and my other guest foot. Dust bunnies all over the place. I will say that lift access was excellent and very close. Property management not really helpful.
The location is the selling point if you are skiing. Put your skiis on right outside the door and ski to lift. The condo furnishing were vintage 70's. Badly needs new mattresses in bedroom and sofa bed. Kitchen chairs are junk and you actually fall over backwards when putting on your boots if not careful.
Great location, walking distance to downtown, great views from balcony, well equipped kitchen, nice pool and hot tubs area, all I needed for mom plus 2 kids stay! Thanks.
Shower was dirty with hair and cleanser remaining in a heavy amount. Carpet not vacuumed well small debris remaining heat was difficult to regulate as was water temperature
The bed gave me and my wife back issues. They only cleared up after we got back on a regular bed. If either person moves, the bed "rocks" for a moment. The mattress is lumpy and uneven. Feels decades old. It's incomprehensible to expect people to sleep on it.
The bedroom looks like it was added AFTER the unit was built. As a result, I do not believe it is up to any standard size code: There is about 2 feet of room in the right hand side of the bed between it and the wall, and it's quite likely you will smack your head on the TV crammed in the room if you get up and go use the facilities during the evening. There is also only about 2 feet of room ad the end of the bed.
Lands end is a decent enough complex, but VERY dated. You must lift your luggage up 8 stairs - or biker - or ski's. Very inconvenient to bring up luggage. So, to even load the dumb waiter, you have to carry up stuff in your arms.
Short ceilings in the units make for a very "stuffy" feeling.
When checking in, we received the WRONG property sheet, and were very confused that we were even in the right property. So we called Great Western Lodging during business hours, and had to call the emergency line. The operator of that (emergency) line stated that the phone should have been answered in the main facility.
The sliding window in the bedroom needed about 20 times the FORCE needed to open than its counter part in the living room. Obvious maintenance needed: It's off the track, or need a bearing, or something. I'm talking eye popping effort, just to open the door.
There was water leaking out of the refrigerator the day we got there. We again called the emergency line the first night, and wanted to report the issue. He suggested it was defrosted, and had some excess water. That night we put in a large pizza on the bottom, and the next morning the pizza box was sopped with water, so we had to throw away the (expensive) pizza.
ONLY STAY HERE, IF YOU DON'T HAVER TO SPEND ANY TIME IN THE UNIT.
Worst VRBO stay EVER.
Our stay was great. The condo is very very close to Main Street. An easy walk. I would suggest the mattress be replaced as it is lumpy. Other than that, the condo was perfect.
This is a neat, clean, well-stocked condo perfect for one or two people. Very easy check-in. Nice deck with views of mountains. By far the best part is the very short walk to the Quicksilver Lift as well as ski rental at The Maggie. Will definitely be staying here again
Everything was great in the condo except the comfort of the bed. The location was very convenient for downtown Breckenridge. It was on a noisy street at night, but closing the windows helped and running a fan we bought. We would definitely stay again.
The location of this property is incredible! You can walk out the back door and walk to the lifts in minutes. Much closer than parking or taking a shuttle and walking to the lifts. The hot tubs are nice too. Very close to Main Street too. It is a bit inconvenient to have to pick up and drop off keys at the management office in town and work within their business hours but it was fine. The unit itself is a bit dated but was totally fine for our family of 4. The bathroom looks like it was recently renovated and the kitchen is well eq uipped. The furniture is a bit too large for the unit, making it feel a bit cramped. There is a stereo and DVD player along with two TVs. Heat is a little tricky as it is baseboard heat and the doors to the balcony are drafty. The heat in the living room is provided by the fireplace which is either off or on and hot. The sofa bed seemed comfortable for my kids. For the right price, this unit is great! I would stay in this unit again.
