This is a great place to stay in Breckinridge. Its in walking distance of everything in town.....restaurants, bars, shopping and the gondola. There is a bus stop near by as well (which is free). Very relaxing on the deck, with the stream and trees. Will definitely stay there again.
Perfect location for easy access to Snowflake lift and ski rentals at Charter Sports. Condo bedding needs a refresh but everything was clean and comfortable. Unit is directly across from hot tub which is good if you want to see when itâs open. Bad when itâs full of people drinking and making noise. Would stay in this building again, but probably choose another unit.
Loved the place! Was a great location to the lift and 4 o'clock run. Even better was the heated, well located garage!
The place was great and hope to rent there again.
This listing is exactly as described and in a perfect location! 100 steps from snowflake lift and a short walk to downtown. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and the house was set up perfectly. You really canât ask for more from a home on a ski trip.
The check in process could have went better. We arrived after hours. Make sure that if you are going to arrive after hours you get the code to gain access to your room. They are supposed to give you the code in the confirmation email, we did not have one.. the management company made sure to get us in our room the next morning because no one answered the after hour number listed on the lock box.
Aside from that, the home is spectacular and we would 100% stay in this location again!
Overall we enjoyed our stay, but I wanted to mention a few things that would have moved me to 5 stars.
1) You can only have 1 car (even if the garage is mostly empty). This isn't really clear in the listing, and so the second car needs to go to a paid lot that isn't particularly close.
2) There was no shampoo or conditioner provided. As this is pretty normal at most places I stay I didn't think to pack any. So if they remain without it, I would like it to be more clear.
3) There wasn't a hand towel in the kitchen. I feel like it would be nice to have.
Now onto the positives:
This is right by the Snowflake chair lift, and is really convenient. I highly recommend coming down 4 O'clock instead of Snowflake though as it isn't as flat. Giant shared hot tub was great (closes at 10pm). Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Kitchen had all the things needed to cook. Radio was setup for music and TV was setup to stream.
Overall I would stay again for sure.
This was our second stay at Riverbend Lodge but the first in this particular unit. We were really happy with the bedrooms and the second bedroom in the loft made it feel more spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, etc so it was easy to eat in. You canât beat the proximity to Snowflake lift either!
This place has the best location you can imagine in Breckenridge. The Four O'Clock lift is right next to the building, which gets you to Peaks 8 and 9 very easily. You can ski home on Four O'Clock run and end up directly across the street. There's a dedicated locker for gear in the heated garage. I can't imagine a more convenient location, honestly.
The unit itself is not fancy, but was clean and the kitchen was well appointed. The community hot tub is right across from the front door, but we didn't have any noise issues. The spiral stairs up to the loft and second bedroom are tricky to navigate with a suitcase, but we managed. And the price was right, so we would definitely stay here again!
Our stay at Riverbend lodge was great! The place was nicely decorated and had everything we needed for sleeping, cooking, and relaxing! The electric fireplace was easy to use so that was awesome. The beds were comfy enough. Thereâs two pullout couches. One in the living room downstairs and one in the loft upstairs. The pullout couch downstairs was a bit more comfortable than the one in the loft. The loft one kind of slants at the end. I will say though, that the upstairs bedroom and loft were really hot for some reason. It was kind of hard to figure it out but we ended up just cracking a window open for a little to let it cool down. Not sure if there was something going on with the heater.
The condo has a hot tub located right outside this condo unit. We didnât end up using it but it sure looked relaxing after a long day of skiing! I recommend when you first get there to walk around the complex and get to know where everything is at. We realized the last day that there was an entrance right next to the lift in the lobby, that you can set your skis and snowboards down. That would have been great to use. The heated car garage was a great bonus! Thereâs also lockers in the garage to store your skis.
The condo building was in a great location! Right off the Four OâClock Run! The snowflake lift is right on the side of the condo building too!! Which made our skiing trip that much better! I would totally recommend staying here especially for the ski in ski out! It was perfect for us! Close to town too! You could walk or take the shuttle. Thereâs also a ski rental right in front of the building which was convenient. We really had an amazing stay!
This was the perfect lodge that sits right next to the Snowflake lift, next to ski rental and a super short drive to Main Street. Condo was clean and very pleasant to stay in. The community hot tub was large and refreshing after a day of skiing and the garage kept the the vehicle snow-free and toasty. Condo could use dish towels, only paper towels supplied and condo sits right outside of community hot tub so noise may bother some but I would definitely stay in this condo again. Highly recommended.
We booked this condo less than a week before arriving. The location was great! Condo had everything we needed and plenty of room - the loft area was genius, gave a way to keep the adults and kidâs in their own zone.
Walking distance to shops, food, activities and free gondola ride.
No complaints at all. Everyone was great to deal with, the place was clean and exactly as described. Only caveat is the 'ski-in' part and that's not the fault of the property. The Snowflake lift was running so we could easily 'ski-out', but there's only one trail coming back and it was closed. We had to go to the base of Peak 9 and grab a 5 minute shuttle home. We were there toward the start of the season so only a fraction of the mountain was open anyway, but if you want to ensure you can board/ski home at the end of the day -- check trail status first.
