Clam Lake is part of a chain of lakes that connect to Torch Lake, Lake Bellaire & Grass River Natural Area. Just 10 mins away from Shorts Brewery in charming downtown Bellaire and Glacial Hills Nature trails. Enjoy our lakeside fire pit, cozy wooden swings, and roped off sandy bottom swimming area. Awesome week!!

We absolutely loved our week at Northaire Resort. The owners are so helpful, kind, and work so hard. Our cabin was a perfect size for the 2 of us and we had some kids and friends visit for a night or two. The cabin is steps away from the water and we brought our own boat and we were given a dock and a place to store our trailer. Our dog was welcomed and she had a blast as well. We took day trips on the boat to Bellaire, Shorts brewery and to Elk Rapids, Shorts brewery. We also spent a couple days on the Torch lake sandbar. All accessible by boat. They have beautiful pontoon boats to rent right at Northaire if you do not have your own. Such a great location and a very relaxing week. We will be back. Thank you.

Good value.

These are basically upgraded fishing cottages. Comfy and you’ve got your own space, grill, bathroom with shower, screened in front porch(Great Lake view) and your own space to dock a boat if you have your own. Also community canoes and kayaks. Great spot if your into boating, especially fishing with easy access to Torch Lake and if your boat doesn’t need over 2 feet of water you can do a scenic cruise up the Grass River to Bellaire. This is great spot if you want to vacation with another family and each want your own cabin. Owner is extremely personable. Definitely recommend.

Clam lake - cabin paradise

Beautiful charming lakeside resort in wonderful wooded location! Truly loved the ambiance, setting and screened in porch. We had a private dock and the sunsets were heavenly. Nothing fancy but all you need. My pet loved it! Owners are very welcoming and helpful! Little slice of northern Michigan paradise!

Clean cabin

We enjoyed our stay and the convenience of renting a pontoon boat at the location. Gorgeous sunrises over clam lake. The only surprise was that there is just one fire pit to share with guests at the four cabins on the property.

lovely stay on the water

The property is cozy with a few cabins and a main house. my husband and stayed with our two dogs for a few days in May and the weather was perfect. The resort is on Clam lake and Torch lake is just a short drive or boat ride away. The cabin was stocked with everything we need and two minor issues with wifi and hot water were quickly addressed and fixed. The fire pit is a nice place to gather in the evenings.

Cozy Fun

We stayed here in the winter and it was a great place to come unwind after a long day of skiing at the nearby Shanty Creek Resort. There were four of us including my husband, 7-year-old, and 3-year-old. Oh and our dog enjoyed her stay as well! It is quaint and cozy and just what we needed for a getaway to celebrate the new year. The water pressure in the shower was great. There is a toaster, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, and stove. Didn't see a hair dryer, so remember to bring yours if that's what you need. There were plenty of fresh towels and the place was clean. Check-in was simple and parking convenient. These fishing cabins were built in the 40's and have a certain charm to them. Really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful Fall Getaway

The property is on Clam Lake, that connects to Torch Lake, and to what I enjoyed more, Grass River. The cabin was cozy and the beds were very comfortable. The shower had awesome water pressure and tons of hot water. I would definitely go back and stay longer.

We had an enjoyable stay. Dale and Joe were great hosts! Boat rentals were really easy to rent, and ready on time. Kitchen was really small, with not enough lighting, but made due.

Cute cozy cabin on the lake

We enjoyed our stay very much. Clean and comfortable and safe area. Liked that the cabin had kayaks that were included for enjoying the lake and also convenient boat rentals to explore the lakes around the area.

We loved it at Northaire Resorts. Beautiful setting and so peaceful.

Our favorite thing to do in the mornings was go down to the docks. Beautiful! Cabin was very clean and homey. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Clean cabin, comfy bed but it was too rustic for me. It was just my husband & myself so it was ok. Rented a boat for the day & thoroughly enjoyed the lake. Problem: not enough electrical outlets in the cabin. I give it a 5 star for cleanliness. Cabin #1 is a 3bedroom & if I were to rent again I’d rent the larger one even if it’s for only too people. If you had kids it would be hard for them to run around on the grounds as there wasn’t enough space. Dale & his staff were very nice. Ladies, bring a hairdryer this is not a hotel.

Thank you for your review please come again and rent the larger cabins. We have never misrepresented the cabins we rent. They are older and retro is coming back, we are affordable to rent a newer place on touch lake or clam you are going to be spending about $350 or more per day are rates are very affordable for being 30 ft from the lake.

Wonderful Place To Stay

Dale, you and your team made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. We loved the setting of your property on Clam lake out of the strong winds but so very to Torch lake and the Grass river. We did day trips to Elk Rapids, Bellaire and of course the sand bar on Torch. The cabin was great and our neighbors were fantastic. Talk about a relaxing trip! We hope to come back next year. Perfect get away

Cabin was charming and views incredible. Very peaceful lake attached to gorgeous Torch lake. Dale and the staff could not have been kinder or more accommodating. Definitely recommend Northaire Resort for a fabulous vacation.

Excellent Experience!

We rented the Blue house and were very happy with our experience. Dale and Sharyl are very welcoming and accommodating hosts. The house and furnishings were like new! We entertained over 12 family members and friends and everyone had a great time. The location is awesome because it is very close to Torch Lake. We also rented one of the resorts pontoons which worked great. I would recommend the Northaire Resort to everyone. Vacation and family time is very valuable and this is a great value......Thanks Dale and Sharyl we will be back for sure
