"Rose" is a new two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in the recently renovated Lutterloh building in downtown Cedar Key. Rose is on the second floor of the Lutterloh building which now also houses the new Main Street Mercantile. "Rose" is beautifully adorned with reclining Italian leather couches in the living room, a large kitchen with bar seating, two bedrooms each with king sized beds, an ensuite full bathroom, full hall bathroom, and laundry closet. Private boat trailer parking available for our guests directly behind building in grassy area. "Rose" is named after a key woman in Cedar Key history, Rose Bell. Rose Bell advocated for her town of Cedar Key, writing to president Harrison in 1890 regarding the liberation from then tyrranical mayor "Billy" Cottrell.
We loved our stay at the Rose. Beautiful decor keeping touches of historical appeal that made it even more charming. I'm pretty picky about clean and this place was beyond any expectations for exceptional. All the basics were covered but additions like cards, books, magazines were nice touches. Full laundry and well stocked kitchen (both drip and Keurig coffee pots with filters for the drip!!) King size bed was comfy to me, not too firm but not squishy. Shower was gorgeous with great water pressure.
The location was ideal right in the heart of downtown with easy walk to everything. Large front porch for lounging, sipping drinks and people watching.
Cedar Key is adorable and still recovering from Hurricane Helene, but the people are so friendly and welcoming. A wonderfully relaxing visit.
This is the 2nd time we have stayed at âRoseâ which is one of pelican vacation rentals and we absolutely love it! Very accommodating staff and walking distance to down town restaurants & shops. Highly recommend it.
This was our second stay in Rose, and it was as perfect as our last stay. The location is ideal for accessing basically everything. Rose is beautifully decorated, clean and had every amenity we needed. Mendy is awesome, and responds very quickly. We'll be staying here again for sure!
We absolutely love Rose. It is convenient to all shopping and restaurants and offers a wonderful full porch to relax and observe the town. The apartment is beautifully furnished with two elegantly designed bathrooms and comfortable king sized beds in each bedroom. We will continue to stay at Rose whenever we travel to Cedar Key!
This was THE cutest condo we have seen on cedar key. The unit is upstairs from a cute mercantile store. It was decorated so chic and had the most stylish finishing touches. It was so clean and modern. The front porch was a perfect place to sit. There was no charging for a golf cart so if you decide to rent one you will need an extension cord.the beds were plush, the showers were great. Loved every part of it.
The property was exactly as promised. Great location and a wonderful place just to relax and enjoy the view. The town was small and quaint and the food was fabulous. Everywhere we went could not have asked for a better place to stay.
We are local RealtorsÂź who live here, work here and fish here! We love the historic side of our special town and sharing it with others. We are just a few minutes away if you need anything at all during your stay.
We decided to restore the derelict buildings on 2nd St to ensure they did not fall down. We have just completed a 10 month renovation and now open the doors to the public to come and enjoy a bit of old fashioned Cedar Key history combined with a bit of modern day luxury.
Historic charm meets modern amenities! This building is from 1872 and that's not something you find every day. Boat/trailer parking is available for our guests in the grassy area behind the building!
