Cabin with Panoramic view of Mt. Adams adjoining Conboy wildlife preserve. Elk Deer and a large variety of birds can frequently be observed from the porch or the cozy living room with a stone fireplace.
Very nice overall stay, the kitchen had a lot of nice appliances, the best view ever on Mt. Adamâs for morning coffee, bbqâŠ. We used the hot tub in the morning and late in the eveningl, clean and cozy. All the rooms were very nicely decorated and good to sleep in. Everything needs for a long vacation was present and in great shape. Very cozy and comfortable house, similar to a Swiss charlait style house. The owner was there when needed, also for tips and advice. Deeply recommend this super nice, quiet, and comfortable house.
I took my wife here for her birthday weekend, it was great! The house is well stocked with pretty much anything you could want and more. Highly recommended for the relaxation and views.
Our family of four loved this cabin. Similar to other comments, the pictures can't quite show how beautiful the view is. Very well stocked and practical while still feeling like a cabin. Highly recommend!
We were looking to leave behind our inboxes for a couple of days and just relax. This cabin was quiet and free from the distractions. The views are amazing, the cabin was comfortable and spacious.
We had a great time and loved the Cabin, the view of Mt. Adams and the locale. We set up a painting station by covering the big dining table with drop cloth paper and painted there early and late. But also painted outside at the cabin and during outings to the Conboy Wildlife Refuge and Mt, Adams. Sandhill Cranes in the cabin's meadow and refuge beyond the fence. Mornings we woke to Meadowlarks and the sun rising against the mountain. The evenings often ended watching the sun set behind the mountain (alpenglow) from the hot tub. And lots of Daryl Lloyd hanging on the walls to inspire us! Just a great delight. We will return!
We had a wonderful relaxing stay and the owners had thought of everything. We loved the ever changing views of Mt. Adams and especially appreciated the hot tub after long days of hiking. We were lucky enough to see both elk and deer from the window at sunset. Highly recommended.
Absolutely loved our stay at the Glenwood cabin we didn't want to leave!! Very comfortable with epic views and elks in the field everyday! The hosts were kind and inviting! Can't wait to return!! đïžđ
Our stay at this beautiful cabin near Glenwood, WA, was nothing short of amazing! Nestled on the edge of a nature preserve, the location was peaceful and breathtaking, with stunning views of Mt. Adams right from the property. The cabin itself was cozy and well-appointed, featuring a fantastic fireplace that made for the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. The hot tub was a dreamâespecially under the stars! One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible wildlife. We saw so many elk right from the cabin, which made the experience even more special. If you're looking for a serene retreat surrounded by nature, this is the place to be. We can't wait to come back!
Thank you so much for sharing this gem of a place with us. I couldnât take my eyes off of Mt. Adamâs which is dramatically framed by the large windows. The photos of the view just canât do it justice, you have to see for yourself! The cozy details, the fire the hot tub and the kitchen were all exactly what we needed.
Our Men's Ministry Group does annual hikes on the Pacific Crest Trail. This year, as we finished up near Trout Creek, WA, the Glenwood "Cabin House," as I like to refer to it, was the perfect "go rest and celebrate" gathering place. Our group of guys found comfortable places to sit and talk and gaze at Mount Adams. The kitchen was just right for making a serving meals, and we tried to be extra careful, since the place is so special.
This would also be a perfect place for a gathering of one or more families, subject to space limitations of course.
Came with my 3 teenage girls for a get away and to get some huckleberries. Usually we stay by Trout Lake, but we wanted something a little more comfortable.
This was such a lovely little cabin with a stunning view of Mt. Adams and the wildlife preserve. Despite the heatwave, there was a small glitch with the A/C that was resolved. Place was big enough that everyone had their own space. They even provided a bottle of wine and was very dog friendly. The best part was sitting in the hot tub watching the sunset, the watching the stars come out. Definitely hope to come back. Thank you!
Per the other reviews, this is an amazing property. Bordering the wildlife refuge, Mt Adams is front and center. Hosts are awesome and great communicators. The property was easy to find, access, and had clear instructions for everything.
Clean and well equipped, the space is great and bigger than we expected. The master suite upstairs with its own deck, sitting area, and adjoining study is awesome for work or just to unwind, as we did while the young adults enjoyed the hot tub and downstairs during some of the wetter weather.
With the colder wetter late fall weather, the well equiped kitchen, hot tub and fireplace were big pluses after days out.
We saw elk and deer from the deck, as well as many birds and some stop in your tracks views of rainbows, sunsets, and the mountain.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time hiking and relaxing in this lovely home. We can't wait to return.
Had a fantastic experience. The view of Mt. Adams is amazing and there was a huge herd of Elk that came through on our second morning. Also, loved the peace and seclusion. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to unplug.
This has been a family home that we've recently opened to short term rentals in order to share the beauty and tranquility of nature and rural life. You'll escape traffic except for the occasional elk, deer and turkey crossings. Enjoy the panoramic view of Mt. Adams and the Glenwood valley from the comfort of the hot tub or sitting next to a fire. If you're an early riser enjoy listening to the elk call or for night owls watch enjoy the stars away from city light pollution. During the day explore the area with hikes, climbing, natural bridges & ice caves or bird watching.
View, hot tub and fireplace. Vaulted cedar ceilings. Two desks with views while you work remotely. Reliable high speed internet allows you to telecommute and still attend video conference calls.
