Avalon - 3BR/3BA beach house with beach view

This charming three-story three three-bedroom, three-full-bath beach house offers 2,000 square feet of living space, two porches, a balcony and a crow's nest.
Downstairs you’ll find a spacious living room, dining room and fully appointed kitchen with breakfast counter, refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, Keurig, 12-cup coffee pot, dishwasher and laundry area with full-size washer and dryer. In addition to the main living areas downstairs, there is one guest bedroom with a full bath as well as a large, screened back porch with access from the kitchen and bedroom. Brand new 2025 six seater ICON golf cart included!
On the second floor, you’ll discover the master suite and additional guest room. The master suite has a generous master bath with a large garden tub, a separate glass-enclosed shower with dual shower heads, a double vanity and a separate commode room. Just off the master bedroom, you’ll enjoy views of the Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge from the second-story balcony. The additional upstairs bedroom has plenty of closet space and a large full bath. There is an additional screened balcony overlooking the bird sanctuary.

Wonderful Martinique

That was a wonderful surprise. The staff was pleasant and easy to talk to. I have been going to Martinique for 15 years and this year by far was the best! The management team has done an outstanding job with the property. Thank you for a wonderful vacation and see you next year!

Family getaway 2023

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As the parents of 2 college students planning a family trip takes a bit of work. Figuring out what, when, and where to make sure everyone has an enjoyable time can be a daunting task. My wife and our “young adults” agreed this was one of the most relaxing vacations. The house we selected (Avalon) was perfect! It literally had every amenity to make our stay comfortable and convenient. We’ve previously stayed at Martinique, but this was the first time to rent Avalon I can say with certainty that it won’t be the last time!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I can’t count the times or houses we have visited in Martinique. This time it was so nice to have a house that looked like almost everything was new. All the rooms looked great. While we didn’t do a lot of cooking, the kitchen had a good supply of items. The mattresses all were very comfortable for all of us, the house was clean, and the location was fine. The golf cart was making very odd sounds so it may need to be replaced soon however.

Good value

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Martinique property staff was very helpful and kind. The grounds are immaculate and the people who are the grounds keepers work hard daily to make sure the grounds are spotless. The home was older and needs updating. The home was fairly clean, but did have a slight odor from perhaps water or being closed up. The mattress on the 1st floor bedroom is too hard and not comfortable. I booked the home again for next year because our son's baseball team has a tournament there and the majority of the team stay there plus none of the other available homes look any better. Overall, the property is ok, but the property would be great if the owners would do the necessary updates.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Well the beach house was mostly awesome. We did have a few issues, the televisions in the bedrooms none of them had cable access. Also the lights in the dining area were always flickering. I tried every input on them. I understand them somewhat but the rules have got unreal!!! My brother wanted to come over on Sunday , I called office and at first said couldn’t visit unless we had him park at pizza place !!! Then she said he could come on property for $ 25.00 fee.

Great Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family has visited The Martinique most of the past twenty years. We enjoy this property due to the relating surroundings. Over the years we’ve stayed at six other homes, all of which are great. We really enjoyed Avalon, this home seems to have been recently updated. All appliances are great. We especially enjoyed the patio that is located to the left side of the house. Wanted to mention that there is a gas grill, I don’t recall seeing this mentioned in the property description. Beds were very comfortable and there are bunk beds built into the closet in the back bedroom on the second floor. The garage was well stocked, we added two beach chairs to the collection. The golf cart works well. Overall a great stay and we will most likely stay at Avalon again next your.
