A sugar sand beach with crystal blue water is all yours to enjoy with this ground floor beachfront 1-bedroom condo, complete with a private deck.
OE 2B is located directly on a beautiful 2+ mile stretch of wide sandy Simpson Bay beach with gentle turquoise blue water and no rocks or coral.

OE 2B offers all the comforts of home, and the “extras” of private upscale villa rental. Best yet, the living room sliding glass doors open directly onto the beach. Walk in/walk out to refresh your drink or grab a snack. No elevator or stair cases to climb.
The condo offers free hi-speed WiFi (Guests should provide their own Laptop or IPad!!) . Ceiling fans and air-conditioning are in the both the living room and bedroom.

Great beachfront get-away!

The only 4-star is a result of the potholes one must navigate on the road to get here. Well-appointed kitchen and comfy king bed. We enjoyed the easy walkout to the beach with relatively easy water entry. The outdoor handheld shower was great. The beach is beautiful, and hosted a wedding nextdoor during our stay. We wanted a quiet place to enjoy the beach, and we plan on returning.

We are so glad we booked here

Great unit that’s lovely and quiet. Loved watching and tracking the planes and seeing the boats. Fabulous beach. So glad we stayed on the ground floor unit and having the beach literally just there. Air con worked well and had plenty of accessories in the kitchen. Would definitely stay here and would recommend it without a doubt

Awesome!

The Place was such an amazing setting. To walk out directly from your deck right on to the beach was awesome. The view of Saba Island and all of the Yachts out in the bay was amazing. The weather was perfect. Couldn't ask for anything better. The pictures say it all!

Oh wow, what a gem! My husband and I just came back after one week at Ocean's Edge apartment. What can I say? It was perfect. A little slice of heaven. The apartment is spacious, super clean and it is equipped with everything you need, plus the maid service was very welcomed and appreciated. Oh, and let's not forget about the location. It is right on the beach, just steps from the amazing turquoise sea. Amazing! We'll definitely be back.

A Little Paradise

We had a relaxing stay here at Simpson Bay. Having a beach in your backyard was the best one could ask for. Sharing sunset cocktails with a few of our neighbors in the evenings was also fun. Conveniently located between Maho & Simpson offered easy access to many restaurants. The unit could use a little updating, but it was clean and comfortable. The mngr Gordon was a pleasure to work with and everything went very smoothly. We would definitely book this unit again & highly recommend it. The neighborhood is quiet and isn't upscale, but once you're inside this unit, you'll have your own little piece of paradise.The

Stunning view

Great location on Simpson Bay Beach, incredible views to enjoy all day. The apartment is clean and very basic inside. Missing kitchen storage for food outside of the refrigerator but other than that it has everything you need. Simpson Bay Beach for as popular as it is where this condo is located, and is quiet and peaceful. Great local restaurants and bars that you can walk to just on the same beach
 Otherwise you do need a car for groceries and to get out into other parts of Simpson Bay as the roads are very busy. Just loved the views.. pictures in posting are accurate.

Absolute Bliss

This gem of an abode provided me with literally everything I needed. The views of Simpson Bay Beach were amazing. I truly appreciate the ice packs, two different ice coolers, beach chairs, umbrella and tanning chairs to use. I was able to bring them with me to 15 of the different 37 beaches which saved me a lot of money from spending on alcohol and on beach chairs and umbrellas. The A/C and fans provided on site were a godsend. I will definitely come back next year and rent exactly this unit. That’s how. Happy I was. Thank you so much Jill!

Good unit but not the best trip

The unit was great but the first week we were there the electricity went off on a regular basis. This was an issue with the City and the property manager couldn’t do anything about it so I can’t blame her. Then, a Tropical storm came through and left a mess on the beach. All in all we did not have the best trip!

Excellent location, a little room for improvement

It's located right on lovely Simpson Bay Beach with plenty of restaurants near at hand. The highlight was the veranda right on the beach. The appartement was a bit difficult to find as the only direction to unit 2B is given on a small sign which we initially did not see. The appartement itself was a good size with everything you need. Unfortunately there were a few minor issues, e.g. security window bar inside the bedroom partly off the wall, leaking pipe under the door step (which was repaired during our stay), the insect net at the patio doors had a few holes. Gordon the caretaker was made aware of most of them and promised they would be repaired. The condo had everthing as listed online and we would certainly stay there again and recommend it to our friends.

Bord de l'eau

IntĂ©rieur simple mais confortable avec terrasse qui donne directement sur une plage oĂč il y a peu de monde. C'est situĂ© tout prĂšs de l'aĂ©roport; on entend les avions dĂ©coller et atterrir. Nous ça ne nous dĂ©rangeait pas, c'est une curiositĂ©.

Fabulous beachfront location

This condo could not be on a nicer beach than on Simpson Bay. The neighborhood seems a bit sketchy on the way to the condo but we walked through it many times at night and felt very safe. It's proximity to the airport also makes it very convenient. Not to mention being able to see big jets take off in your backyard. I thought the noise might bother us but it actually was kind of fun. There are only a few of the really big planes that take off on a daily basis so it's not bad at all. The location is really great and within walking distance of many nice restaurants. One of the coolest parts about Simpson Bay are all of the mega yachts that anchor right out in front of your condo. The host was always available whenever we needed them.

Great location- central to everything on the Island!

Very clean, beautiful beach.. as good as any beach on the island! Felt very safe the entire trip. The place came with lots of supplies...we used the cooler the entire week. The kitchen has everything you would need. We went to the grocery store and got coffee, filters, eggs, etc and ate at the place some of the time. They had a cleaning lady come 2x while we were there (10 nights). Was nice to have fresh towels etc during the stay. Loved our stay here and we will be back!

Perfect location - a must stay for St Maarten

This property is exactly as represented in the listing. It’s a perfect location to restaurants and bars. Communication and check-in was a breeze. Hands down the best part was the private deck

This property exceeded our expectations. So close to the ocean. View from the back deck was spectacular. Great kitchen, bath and bedroom. Walking distance to two good beachfront restaurants. We’ll be back!

Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay as there's nothing better than being right on the beach with your own space and plenty of privacy. Great location and an easy walk to many good choices of restaurants and bars. Very well equipped with everything we could have needed - the kitchen was well stocked, coolers and beach toys were a nice bonus. The property manager was very helpful and it was a nice surprise to learn that housekeeping services were included twice during our two week stay. Good value for a beachfront property and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

One Week in Paradise

After reading the description of this place and booking it months in advance, doubts began to creep in as the months and weeks slowly ticked down. But when we arrived, it was as described and then some! Absolutely GORGEOUS!! We are HUGE movie fans, and I was a wee bit bummed in doing our pre-vacation research of any movie locations that might be fun to see on Sint Maarten. Other than a couple of films we’d never heard of, nothing looked of interest. đŸ€·â€â™‚ïž Then we arrived and we’re welcomed by Gordon, who graciously showed us all the ins and outs of the condo, the beach, the eateries, and (pointing out at the glistening turquoise ocean) he said, “You can’t see it now because of the low cloud cover, but later on you’ll be able to make out the island of Saba.” “0h nice, I said. That’s the one excursion we’ve booked.” “Oh good, you’re gonna love it. Way back in the 30’s, Hollywood sent a crew their to film some spots for the original King Kong movie.” My jaw nearly hit the floor. Skull Island was within view of our deck!!! Absolute highlight of the trip, just reliving Gordon telling us that! Oh, and exploring Skull Island wasn’t too shabby either!! AMAZING!!! If you are even slightly interested in visiting Sint Maarten, THIS CONDO IS THE PLACE TO BE!!!! 👏👏

Location was amazing!

The beach and view from the patio was amazing. There were some waves but it wasn't rough water at all. The back of the condo is literally on the runway!! We watched all the large planes land and take off. We loved this! The main road (2minutes driving) had a million places to eat. We liked take out from little Jerusalem and captains rib shack. I would definitely stay here again. The condo was clean plenty of space a lot of kitchen supplies for cooking. Tupperware pots pans etc. The TV connection is spotty, but that wasn't a big deal for us.

Amazing location and patio

Quiet beach in Simpson Bay, yet very close to activities, stores, restaurants. Having the private patio with lounge chairs and outdoor shower was especially great (only two units in the building have these). Kitchen is well-stocked and the internet worked well. Would definitely stay here again!
