This cozy cottage nestled in the heart of Virginia has something for everyone. If you’re looking for a place to escape and unplug, it’s here. If you’re looking to see some of the best views Virginia has to offer, we’re only an hour driving time from the Blue Ridge Mountains and some of Virginia’s best hiking trails. Maybe you and your family want to get away and experience life on the farm. Feed the baby calves with us and see what baby chicks might be hatching.
The space
This 2 bedroom 1 bath modern rustic farmhouse has tons of unique details in its new updates. There is one queen bed, a full bed, and a couch that pulls out to a full. Each room has a closet and room for luggage. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready to whip up a family meal. There is everything from a coffee maker to an air fryer. You will also find the bathroom has complimentary starter toiletries and towels so grab a bag and come visit. We have poured our heart into every detail to honor this family property as a possible future home base for one of our five children. There is lots of family farmland surrounding the parcel and the most beautiful sunset to enjoy while relaxing on the front porch swing, it’s the perfect countryside vacation you are looking for.
Guest access
Guest will have access to the cottage and the yard if you see us outside feel free to come over and say hello to the animals.
Other things to note
Requests for early check-in & late check-out will be handled based on availability at the time of check-in (an additional fee is payable for guaranteed late check-out).

We are just a short hour from Lynchburg, Charlottesville and the state capital Richmond. There’s plenty to see and do. Or you can relax and just “be” on the farm.
