Le manoir Tudor de ce pays offre une vue fantastique sur les montagnes Blue Ridge. Il est à seulement deux miles de la Bienvenue Restaurant Center et Saddlebrook. Un port-a-cochère orne l'entrée. Il ya une grande salle à manger-coin cuisine, et deux chambres et deux salles de bains à chaque niveau. La zone de loisirs avec des tables kitchenette, un bar, table de billard et de jeux se trouve �� l'étage inférieur. Une plate-forme de divertissement entoure tout l'arrière de la maison sur deux niveaux. Tous les quatre chambres à coucher et la salle rec ont de beaux points de vue et accès au bain à remous du pont inférieur. Entouré par les sentiers équestres de Leatherwood, ce est un centre de formation pour les amateurs de chevaux avec une grange quatre de décrochage, stabulation entravée, sellerie, baie de lavage, aire de pique nique, avec un rond de longe et tourner sur le dessus de la montagne. Il ya beaucoup de stationnement et tourner autour de ce site. Venez vous détendre et écouter le calme de Pinnacle Point.

Les voyageurs voyageant avec des remorques ou d'autres véhicules longs doivent savoir que les routes à l'intérieur de Leatherwood sont des routes de montagne étroites et escarpées qui ne sont pas propices aux véhicules ou aux remorques plus longues qu'une remorque à tirant ou à deux chevaux ou une remorque à cou d'oie de moins de 20 pieds de long. Great house on top of mountain

Great house, on site management, killer views. Plenty of room fir myself, my husband, our three adult children and their beaus. Would stay agin!

Perfect escape

We were two families and each family had their own seperate floor with more than enough space to gather and have fun playing pool, cards etc. It was a welcome escape during some very trying times.

Relaxing Escape

Pinnacle Point was everything we had hoped for. It was a quiet weekend get-away from the everyday hustle and bustle. The view was gorgeous and the property was well-stocked. The game room was perfect for our party and we spent many hours playing pool and cards. The hot tub was nice. But we did have to clean it as it was slimy and green when we first arrived.The wifi worked wonderfully. The home was well-stocked. We didn't need all that we had brought. For management- the washer did not spin clothes well and the dryer does not automatically shut off when the door is opened. We enjoyed hiking the horse trail. We hiked the Daniel Boone trail. Do be mindful that when the trails are marked for difficulty levels- these are intended for horses. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

Arnesons 2022 Vacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always enjoy Leatherwood,and anticipate returning for more. We had to leave a day early for personal reasons, but overall enjoyed the family time while we were there. Excursions are new each year. This year we rented a boat from Skyline Marina and enjoyed a dinner at Dan L Boone restaurant. Enjoying the property with tubing and trail riding has also been fun. And the Leatherwood staff is always 1st class. As for Pinnacle Point, I left there feeling like the owners do not enjoy renting the house to vacationers. All amenities were compromised. The hot tub cover was tattered and probably needs replacement. The view from deck is compromised by dense trees. The deck furniture is minimal, so we spent no time on the deck. There was no propane in the gas grill. The pool table triangle was missing, and there was no chalk for the sticks. The ping pong room air smelled toxic, so we chose not to play ping pong. TVs were small. Master bathroom showerhead was low grade. The massage chair was in disrepair. And, it seems as tho the pilot light for gas fireplaces was out. Without instructions, I could not ignite the gas fireplace. The ground floor master bath could not pick up wi-fi. The front door was worn, and not welcoming. It's a shame, because the floor plan is great. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious, the AC worked great, and we were comfortable inside the home at all times. All very important. It's a beautiful floor plan in a great location. With more intentional care from the owner, this could probably be a best seller. But in its current state, we would not recommend this home be rented out. Leatherwood stands above this setback, tho. We will do better to pick a home that caters to vacationers next time.

Dead Mice

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at several properties at Leatherwood. This is the first time we have had an issue with odor, bugs and MICE! There were 2 dead mice in the downstairs hallway, the morning after we arrived. The entire house smelled like moth balls. It's a beautiful, spacious home but needs updating and care.

Not the Leatherwood we know

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The vast majority of our stay was with no phone service, no television service and no internet service due to the owner of the property not paying her bill. Not having phone service is a safety issue and shouldn’t ever be permitted. I stay in hotels and rental homes around 150 nights a year. I have done this for the last 20 years. I have stayed in many third world locations. I have never stayed in a hotel or home that didn’t have at least a phone and working television. The grill was filthy. The staff at Leatherwood are fantastic and always have been. Doesn’t matter who you interact with. They are all great and make the resort a charming vacation spot.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pinnacle Point is a very nice house - loved the hot tub and game tables. No complaints at all with the house. I wish Leatherwood's website had more pictures on horse properties showing the pastures and trailer turn around areas. Even when I called and asked questions about the pasture they weren't able to answer. The pasture was disappointing, VERY small and straight down hill. Stalls were good and so was the round pen. Stall cleaning equipment (pitch forks, hose, etc) need to be replaced. But overall we had a wonderful week and are planning next years trip back to leatherwood. We will try one of the other horse properties that has a more usable turnout for the horses.

Great spot for family vacation

We had a great vacation and thoroughly enjoyed the property. The space was very well set up and the views were gorgeous. We used this as a base of operations for exploring Wilkesboro, Boone, and the Blue Ridge Parkway (all 30-45 minutes away).

Wonder Time at Pinnacle Point

The house was so big, the area so beautiful and still not too far of a drive from Boone & Blowing Rock. We will definitely be back!

Awesome stay

The house was big enough for 7 of us. We enjoyed games and hot tub while getting stuck in house because of snow. The only issues we had were the bugs which we were warned about but the kids had big issue with them. Other than that, it is very open and comfortable space.

Secluded views and plenty of space

The property was large and well appointed with amazing views from almost any window. There were trails close by that meandered through the mountains. If you want a quiet mountain stay with friends/family it's perfect. The secluded location means that it is quite a drive to civilization so keep that in mind. We did our grocery shopping on the way there so we didn't need to leave at all the whole week. With good planning you won't have any trouble. The only annoying thing is a total lack of cell reception on the mountain.

Spacious house with amazing views

We really enjoyed staying at this property. Really loved the layout. The house was clean and very spacious yet with the feel of mountain cabin. Pool table, tennis table and the hot tub kept us occupied.

The only reason this review isn't a 5 star review is we were dissapointed to learn that we were expected to take our garbage to the main office upon leaving. That meant we had to load the garbage in our cars and take it a few miles to the dumpster. GARBAGE PICKUP SHOULD BE AN AMENITY.

One of the hiking trails is right below the deck of the property for easy access. The hot tub was very clean and enjoyable. Great WiFi. The grill was very clean and we cooked on it every night. The pool table and ping pong table were a big hit.
