*5min to KSC*10min to Cruise Ships*15min to Cocoa Beach*
For those who are contemplating the rv/travel trailer/camper/âtiny houseâ living lifestyle... For those who want a UNIQUE overnight stay instead of a BORING HOTEL ROOM... For those who need a quick/inexpensive place to sleep before their cruise... For those visiting Florida and passing through...
THIS "VACATION IN AN RV" experience is JUST FOR YOU!!!
There is a master bedroom (with queen bed), a bunkhouse with 3 smaller/kid sized beds, and a futon/couch in there as well. There is also a couch in the living room area that converts into a bed. The dinette also converts into extra sleeping space. The bathroom contains a compost toilet which is easy to use. Instructions are located on the bathroom sink. The camper is located on the driveway of a residential lot. The neighborhood is quiet. It is located just 5min. away from NASAâs Kennedy Space Center so when thereâs a rocket launch, you can watch it directly from outside. (Sometimes you can even feel the rumble). This is a shared space. The front yard is available for kids to play. The backyard is currently under construction so will be off-limits for the time being.
Another plus is that the location is prime if your visiting Florida. We are just 45min from Orlando, but youâll be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We are also just 15min from the famous Cocoa Beach and 10min from Cape Canaveral where the cruise ships leave.
It was nice for the couple of hours of sleep needed before the cruise. I am glad my kids brought blankets because there were none on the bunk beds. But honestly we were there for 7 hours it did what we needed.
I highly recommend this cabin to anyone! Itâs just minutes away from Kennedy Space Center, and we had the amazing experience of watching a rocket launch right from outside the cabin. The bunk beds are best suited for kids or shorter adults, and the couch in the living room can also be turned into an extra bed for shorter adults. The owner is super nice and very responsive via text. Since they live in Titusville, theyâre close by in case anything comes up during the day.As with any cabin stay, the toilet setup takes a little getting used to, but youâll adjust after a couple of days. Thereâs also a treehouse and a swing out front, which is perfect if youâre traveling with kids. The area is very quiet at nightâideal for relaxing.Itâs definitely a fun and unique place to stay!
We needed an overnight spot before heading out for a cruise. This property fit the bill perfectly. It was well-appointed & exactly as the listing states.
It was a great location to stay the night before our cruise. Close to the Park and Cruise location which made transportation to the Port Canaveral very easy. Host Melinda was very accessible and able to answer any questions that we had.
My wife and I unfortunately had to cancel the day of our stay due to an illness. We contacted the host and she was very kind! She understood and wished us well. Although we didnât get to stay, we would recommend solely based off our interaction with the host. We hope to stay here in the near future!
This is a small camper. The host was pleasant to work with and itâs close to Kennedy Space Center. It would have been sufficient enough had the host properly disclosed the compost potty. That means that there is no plumbing and there are instructions on the levers your need to pull to go number 1 or 2. We werenât told of this until we were about to check in when the host was like âif that makes you uncomfortable, I suggest going when you are out and about.â It also makes the place stink. Other than that, it would have been good.
Arrived at site around 3:30 PM. Owner met us in her driveway; very pleasant. Trailer parked next to her home in a trailer park. Unit was very warm; AC only cooled kitchen/dining area. Tried to get comfortable in sleeping area; too warm for a nap. Second bedroom only suitable for children. Chemical toilet came with detailed instructions for peeing or pooping. Black mold on shower curtain. Owner requested limited time for shower to save water. Waited in unit for almost two hours to see if it got any cooler. AC was on continuously but it never got cooler in the sleeping areas. Had to check out to find cooler accommodation. No refund has been issued despite the fact that the AC did not cool.
I cannot say enough good things about this trip! We stayed 4 nights. We had 3 adults, 2 littles and an infant. LOVE our hosts!! Even comes with built in kid friends for playground!
One word of caution... Glamping is still a form of camping - so if you love to camp and you have camping accommodations in mind, you will LOVE it! We had plenty of hot water for showers and all the conveniences of modern living. I think the compost potty is BRILLIANT! The down side of our visit was all the native Floridians (mosquitos) wanting a piece of us.... I'm writing this while soaking in a nice collodial oatmeal bath LOL
If you have never RV'd or Glamped - give it a GO!
OH!!! And did i mention??? We FELT & SAW the NASA launch from the yard!! SO MUCH FUN!! Thank you Sosa Family! We love you like our own!
We stayed a night here prior to a cruise. They were very considerate and had everything we may have needed. The place was easily located and ready prior to our scheduled time. It was clean and comfortable.
Stayed here before our cruise. Host was extremely professional and friendly. Made it feel like we were going to visit family!! Camper is ADORABLE!!!!! Had all needed amenities and a bunch of extras! Snack bar, complimentary water, everything that makes you feel like home. Will definitely book again.
Camper was in great clean shape and nice! Only downside is there is no plumbing hookup for the camper toilet, so it is just a composting toilet. That is our only dislike!
I must say this was an amazing place to stay. It was very clean and the host was amazing at responding to messages quickly. It was very convenient for us to get to the port. This is only my second VRBO but i must say it was the best for cleanliness and location for the port. We will definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to friends going on cruises.
We are homeschooling family of 9! Yes, we have 7 kids. đ€Ș Once upon a time we ALL lived in this travel trailer. We were fixing up the house on the property and it took longer than expected. The kids LOVED it. Parents couldnât wait to move out! Too small!
Now, we are happy to provide this space for guests visiting this beautiful state of Florida!
We DIY basically everything from the ground up. We had fun doing it too! Learned a lot and made a ton of mistakes along the way. Weâd do it again in a heartbeat!
