1 mile from beach, centrally located between Biloxi and Gulfport casinos, not far from Biloxi/Gulfport airport, 1 hour from New Orleans, LA and Mobile, AL. This is a great place to vacation for Mardi g
Had a very good time at scrapin the coast. The house was very nice and clean. The host checked in on us everyday asking if we needed anything. Would recommend this house for a stay
Pics donât do justice for this home. There is so much more space than I thought. The kitchen is huge. The main shower is beautiful and huge. We ended up having more of our kids than we planned as our adult son and daughter ended up coming in the family trip and it still was perfect. We slept 5 kids to the 3 beds comfortably. The owners are amazing and helpful all the way around.
House seemed nice but could be better with the addition or repair of a few items. (toaster, sharp knife, can opener, cabinet doors missing, ice maker not working, water filter on the fridge, and general cleaning.) With a few tweaks this would have recieved a higher rating.
Enjoyed the stay and the location was perfect as we were near the beach and check in / out was easy. House was clean and we all were able to relax on our stay there!
The house was beautiful from the decorative tile to the unique detail lighting. The kids and grandkids really enjoyed themselves. I think the walk-in shower was like going to the spa. Will definitely be back.
Home is very inviting, Location is in a quite neighborhood located near the port of Gulfport. Easy access to the beach shopping and fun.
House is very open clean and comfortable. The master bedroom shower is amazing ( now I have to put 1 in my home ) Will definitely be staying here again if available on my next trip. Host is awesome and very responsive as well.
OMG!!!! This house was Amazing! The pics do no justice the home was beyond great! Very clean host reply back fast and ready to assist however need be. We didnât want to leave lol I wish I could rate higher than 5 âïž Love love love đ
We stayed here for a few nights to visit with family in Mississippi. The location was wonderful and convenient to multiple restaurants and grocery stores. We spent the majority of our time at the home. They have plenty of dishes for you to use, a very spacious kitchen to cook in, and we were able to get in contact with the owners when needed. The only complaint we have (my mother in law) who slept in the middle bedroom said the mattress was extremely hard. Other than that our experience was wonderful and we would definitely stay again!
We found the house well equipped, spacious, and clean. My husband and I shared the house with my sister and her husband for a few days while visiting relatives in the area. We did not need the 3rd bedroom but it would certainly come in handy for those with children. The neighborhood is quiet and though there aren't sidewalks till you get to the main road, we did walk to the beach a couple of times and enjoyed being so close. Our host was also kind enough to let us access the property early after our long trip to MS.
I have never given a property a bad review because they usually always match what the reviews say. I picked this property specifically because all the reviews said how clean it was. All of us felt the house needed to be deep cleaned. It also smelled bad. There was random stuff thrown in closets, on shelves and in the laundry room. Most of the items looked like trash. The rug in the living room needs to be thrown away. It was disgusting. We didnât even feel comfortable sitting on the couches because they looked dirty like they came from a garage sell. Luckily, we were only there to sleep and didnât spend much time in the house. The master bedroom is huge. We didnât understand why there wasnât a king size bed in there. You could fit 2 king size beds in there if you wanted. They also need more bath towels. We were not impressed that none of them matched. They were random towels that looked like they were donated. I would not recommend this property.
Overall, the property met our needs. We were in town to watch baseball and softball and the house provided enough space for our family and the location was good. We made the short drive to the beach one morning and we were close to restaurants. The beds didnât match the pictures in the listing and what is there now is very basic. The master bedroom is plenty big enough for a king size bed. It was an inexpensive rental but was adequate for pur needs.
We stayed in this rental for 13 nights. It was OK, but it was NOT exceptional as listed!!! It is a nice house with lots of room & a wonderful master bathroom shower, but it is very SPARTAN. There are no pictures or paintings on the walls, no decorations and only 2 12" lamps on night stands in 2 of the bed rooms. The listing said there were 2 queen beds in the master bedroom (there was only 1); 2 twins in another bedroom (there was just 1 queen); and a double/twin bunk in the other bedroom (there was a queen and a twin, but not a bunk. All of the beds were on metal cot frames (not the most comfortable). As mentioned in other reviews, the unit was not very clean. The living room carpet needs thrown out, it's disgusting (we rolled it up & stored it for our stay). Also, the orange sofa needs to be cleaned (it has stains & dirt all over it). The ceiling fans had dust hanging down from them, so my wife cleaned them. Plus the kitchen sink, master bedroom sink and guest bathroom tub were not properly cleaned and my wife cleaned those and all counter surfaces. The return air vent for the furnace was a mass of dust and dirt, but there was no vacuum to clean it. The kitchen was nice, but 2 doors were missing on cabinets. The back yard has trash laying around (beer cans & bottles, old pool liner, etc). With a little time, effort, and deep cleaning this could be a nice property, but it will never be an exceptional one! Lastly, the owner was nice and easy to communicate with.
