Buena Vista Lodge est un d'une sorte de retraite, avec près de 10 000 pieds carrés de bâtiment de pavillon sur 3000 pieds de front de lac privé. Il dispose également de plus de 70 acres de forêts matures avec des sentiers de randonnée. Situé sur Pickerel Lake (1300 acres), avec une connexion à Crane Lake (400 acres), il offre une plage de baignade de sable, pêche et le canotage droit de la propriété. Il dispose également d'une île privée à explorer.

Vous verrez Eagles, des huards, des cerfs, avec toute la faune typique Northwoods compris la Fox occasionnelle ou Bobcat.

BV Lodge est un refuge privé quatre saisons. Vous êtes au milieu de la motoneige Meilleur Northwoods sentiers dont beaucoup d'avance sur Pickerel Lake. En outre, il ya des sentiers de VTT, rafting Loup, et quelques-uns des meilleurs sentiers de ski de fond dans les Northwoods à Lakewood, tous dans les 45 minutes.

Le casino Mole Lake est à 10 minutes à Crandon.

Fantastic lodge for family get together

I’ve rented many places on VRBO, but Al was by far one of the best property managers and communicators. The property was excellent, clean, spacious, and had a fully stocked kitchen with all sorts of pans, dishes crockpots, etc. I would highly recommend, in fact, we’re already planning our stay for a family get together next year at the same property.

Space for Everyone!

Our group of friends were getting together and wanted a place that had enough bedrooms, bathrooms, and general space for 16+ adults. This cabin and property did not disappoint. The place is huge and had everything you could need. The grounds were extremely large with flat grassy areas, parking, deck space, a gigantic kitchen, etc. I would highly recommend this property!

Family Vacation 2019

We were very impressed with the property! Our family ranges in age from 2 to 72. The grass area around the lodge was perfect for our "family olympics". The sandy beach area, volleyball court, picnic tables on the beach, boat, canoes, and paddle boat all were used quite often during our stay. Sitting on the porch at night and stargazing was among the things added to my fondest memories of our stay at the lodge. The grandkids enjoyed fishing from the pier and were not disappointed!! I would recommend the lodge and would love to visit again.

Absolutely great place for a family reunion

We stayed there for a family reunion 06/2010. There were 12 adults and 3 kids 7 & under. It was great. The gated entrance meant it was safe for the kids to ride their bikes and explore. The lodge is huge with enough space for everyone (even on the rainy day, we didn't get cabin fever and drive each other crazy). Lots of extra amenities to make you feel at home. Lodge is very well designed for large groups. Even the few issues that came up were easily remedied by the owner. The only things I would change. 1) repair the paddleboat, the rudder was bent, so it was difficult to steer. Maybe a lit wall-mount make-up mirror in the ladies bathroom (this is getting nit-picky, I know). Faster wireless....although again, it WAS suppose to be a vacation, so not a biggie. I'd also update your photos on this and other website...the ones you have do not do justice to the place!! Thanks again. Highly recommend.

Perfect & Perfect

This place is amazing! Love the layout with the bar and kitchen on one level made socializing with everyone nice and convenient. The Dining Tables were great for playing table games (they have so many!). Plus the Ping Pong Table, shuffleboard, fuseball & pool gave you something to do all the time. They offer paddle boats & canoes including a nice dock with sand volleyball by the docks. The property itself is stunning & seen so many bald eagles. The little island attached was super cute & they have trails to walk around the property that was a huge plus! The bedrooms & bathrooms worked great & the bathrooms downstairs was extra plus! THIS IS A MUST BOOK! The rental manager was amazing to work with & had a couple issues on my end and he was so awesome. He followed up with us to make sure we could proceed and not to loose our weekend. Thank you!

Amazing, peaceful place to bring family and friends!

We loved the placed! They had everything we needed! Caught large mouth bass, northern pikes! Paddle boats, kayaking, canoeing to the middle of the lake relax and peaceful! Water is super clear and can see in the bottom by the beach. Night time bonfire and s’mores looking @ the stars! Perfect weather of the weekend 80s in September! Inside the house beds were comfortable, bathrooms perfect for our large group of 20 to share bathroom with no problems. Kitchen is abundance of cookware sand dishes! Perfect trip for us because we didn’t want phones, internet, and TV! Thank God connection was bad!!! Great get away to shut the world and be with nature! What was provided was what we need this weekend! We loved it, will definitely bring our family, kids, and others to experience it! Thank you!!!

Great long weekend!

We stayed at the Pickerel Lodge over a long weekend for Labor Day. Everything was as advertised, communication with the owner was easy, and we had everything we needed at the lodge. Grocery store is about 30 min away which is great if you forget anything. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

It was all that and then some!

Holding a family reunion with family members ranging from age 8 months to 83 can be a challenge. Fortunately, this property accommodated everyone perfectly. Large and multiple bedded bedrooms were perfect for small families, while spacious beds and lake view bedrooms pleased grandma & grandpa! The private pier and bridge provided ample opportunities for the “fishing stories” to grow and grow. The quiet and relaxing atmosphere of the sprawling double patio deck provided: a morning coffee retreat, afternoon naps, and evenings spent watching the sunset surrounded by loved ones. The extensive and immaculately kept yard provided a play area for all the kids as well as the backdrop for memory making photos. Highly highly recommended (just not the week we will be there, because we will DEFINITELY be returning!) 😊

Excellent Ice Fishing Trip

This lodge was great for a large group of adults we had for an ice fishing trip. The layout on the main floor is perfect for entertaining. Bedrooms are all clean and very spacious, nice linens. Alan was very responsive and offered many tips on local resources. Great stay in Winter and prob even better in summer. We would love to come back, hard to beat this place.

Perfection!

I can't say enough positive things about this property and Al, the property owner. The land and house were even more beautiful in person and it was extremely easy to navigate the property from check in to check out. The house is incredibly spacious and allows for everyone there to have their own space and time if needed, but also can house everyone in one room as well. The land was beautiful and the house has everything you could possibly need, in regards to cooking and living. Al was wonderful with help from finding boats to the small questions that I had and always responded quickly. Everyone in our party of 20, from the kids to the adults, asked when we're going back up. I could not say enough positive things!!

Large family weekend getaway

Impressive Super-Cabin on Pickerel Lake

We celebrated our Labor Day weekend with great successful at the property. The massive property had everything we needed to entertain a group of our friends. The kitchen was very well stock for cooking for large groups. The separate bar area off the main living area was very convenient as well. The many various bedrooms were all well appointed and slept 13 adults comfortably (7 +queen beds). The rec room was great and well kept. The grounds were extremely well maintained and landscaped. We enjoyed the fire pit most nights. Dock area was sufficient to dock our pontoon (rental) for the duration of the stay. Plenty of misc water toys included as well (kayaks and paddle boats). Property contact, Alan, was very helpful and timely answered all our questions. Pretty much a flawless weekend. We will be back.

Log Cabin Getaway

Our group of friends and family had an excellent time building memories at the Burns Vista Lodge. Very clean and spacious. We enjoyed ice fishing, snowmobiling, and sledding down the hill outside and the warmth of the huge fireplace inside. We had a great time and look forward to our next stay.

Great place

Our entire family is raving about our stay. Fantastic facility. Great setting looking over the lake. Rain and cool weather keep us indoors a few days but we had fun playing games and doing puzzles indoors. My grandkids are begging me to stay there again. We thoroughly enjoy our stay! Fantastic facility. Everything was first class. A beautiful setting overlooking the lake. Family members did it all....fishing, boating, canoeing, paddle boating, swimming, yard games and more. They even keep busy on the raining days. The grandkids are already lobbying me to come there again.

This place is absolutely Amazing... from the size and quality of the 7 bedrooms on the main and lower floors... the 2 rooms up in the loft... the huge male and female bathrooms... the amazing living room and decks... multiple game room fun for kids (pool, fuse ball, Ping pong, one more I don't know name of)... Amazing beach, boat dock, paddle boat, canoe, sand volleyball, lot's of space, and much much more like THREE REFRIGERATORS... Amazing place for big group getaways.. ONLY ONE down side, is that the lake is not maintained and there is a lot of grass and Hardly any Fish. however, lot's of lakes around within an hour drive to go fishing at... NO BOAT RENTALS ON THIS LAKE EITHER.

BV Lodge hit it out of the ball park!

Our week began with the tree-lined drive through the woods where we were welcomed by deer in a clearing. After going through the gate to the lodge, our view opened to the nicely landscaped, expansive lot with plenty or room for parking. As our family continues to grow, finding a place to stay to accommodate all of us becomes challenging. This is the first time we have all easily fit in the designated dining space. We have traditionally found some well stocked kitchens, but BV Lodge hit it out of the ball park! When preparing our own meals, "fully-stocked" kitchen usually means limited improvising required. The Kitchen and bar truly did have everything we needed for the week and more. We made use of the many amenities offered by BV Lodge including the sandy beach for our little waders. We had some lunches on the dock picnic table while some of our crew used the available boat for fishing. We traveled the trails to the walking bridge and island and ventured through the woods. We met some very friendly deer who visited the yard regularly to greet us. We not only had adequate gathering space, but also quiet and private spaces with the expansive deck, loft and screened in porch. Everyone a bed to sleep in. We played games and had a few good laughs on the rainy days or cold nights. We had a very enjoyable week and left the lodge with some great memories

We found this totally unique lodge that offers so many of the things that make up a relaxing getaway that after we retired we had to buy it. The property was in danger of being developed and we wanted to keep it in its natural state so it could be enjoyed for years to come.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We bought into this location because it was on a large lake with many options for outdoors activities. It is located far enough away large cities to be truly a getaway and yet close enough to be 3 to 6 hours from Milwaukee, Minneapolis or Chicago. It is surrounded by Nicolet Forest, the Wolf River and unique Northern towns and points of interest.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

When staying at the lodge you will see the stars like you have never seen them. Sunsets over the lake from the great room. The call of Eagles and Loons. Magnificent Hemlock trees from 200-300yrs old on the hiking trails. Depending on the time of year thousands of protected Trilium, and other wild flowers, ferns of all sizes, or Maple trees in Autumn colors.
