I was looking for a nice family cabin that offered an authentic, warm vibe for my friends and family to get away for stress release, leaf peeping and an area with an amazing amount of activities. This cabin was perfect and you could tell that the host cared about the property a great deal. It was clean with ample space to have separate time. Beds were super comfortable. Water was hot on demand. There was an indoor fireplace, a magic outdoor fire pit, a beautiful viewing deck and fun- horseshoes, games, corn-hole. I just wish we had had more time there.

The house was just a described in the pictures and the view was amazing. The location and proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park was perfect. We were able to get to the entrance quickly making for a great trip.

We loved this home. The deck was 5 out of 5 stars with great views, morning sun when you need it and afternoon shade! The surprise deck was a hidden gem. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked. The living area was perfect. The hummingbirds were endlessly entertaining. The only downfall (ha) are the steep stairs inside and out.

Great property

Visited RMNP for a few days and enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful, peaceful, & close to Grand Lake and the park. We’d be happy to stay here again should we come back to the area.

Awesome Family Getaway

From PA and spent 4 nights and we were busy with golfing, hiking, boating, and touring the Rocky Mountain National Park. Mountain and lake views from Cabin and location were perfect.

Super close to RMNP!

The house had everything we needed to be cozy! Beautiful lake views and wildlife everywhere! Our favorite part is how close it was to Rocky Mountain National Park. We knew where to see the female moose each evening and we crossed the Continental divide and found the male moose. Also stopped in at the Stanley motel in Estes Park. Beautiful location!

We agree, we love being so close to RMNP and being able to drive in so easily to seek out the moose & elk. Although, we often get a moose or two walking right through our 2 acres! If you want to have a relaxing adventure with your family, I highly recommend this rental! Great dining and sitting areas with beautiful views of the lake and mountains. We had a magical stay and you will too!

Hi Matthew- I’m glad you enjoyed the views, however, I’m so sorry you felt the house was dirty. Can you give me specific examples of what was dirty? I was at the house just 2 days before and it was spotless! So, unless someone broke in and used the kitchen or whatever it was that was “dirty”then I have a really hard time with your statement. I would really appreciate a chance to discuss this further and make it right. We value our renters feedback and are very concerned about your experience. Thank you.

Great stay

This is a wonderful cabin. Very roomy, very clean and well stocked with everything one would need for a home away from home. Just minutes away from shadow mountain and grand lake. Our family enjoyed our stay and would recommended to anyone going to grand lake or Rocky mountain

Beautiful views

This property is is such a beautiful location! 5 minutes to downtown Grand Lake and views from the property! The property manager/owner was very easy to get a hold of and extremely friendly/helpful! Definitely will not disappoint!

Quiet Get-a-way

Lovely property with a large fire pit. Plenty of woods to explore and see some wildlife. The house itself is older, but charming and clean. Our family enjoyed the stay. It was wonderful to have our dogs with us. Minutes from Grand Lake and many family friendly hikes.

Hidden Gem with perfect views

Love this place! There's a huge deck with a fantastic water view and plenty of room to BBQ and eat and relax, lots of seating. And another little hidden deck for 2 that's very special. There's a large fire pit with seating all around. Beds are comfortable and kitchen has everything you need.

Grand Lake Refuge

Our third year at this cozy mountain getaway. All the amenities. Beautiful views from large, well-appointed deck. Everything you might need at your fingertips: kitchen essentials, outdoor bbq, fire pit, horseshoes, corn hole, fireplace, game room, nearby trails. We love it here!
