À quelques minutes de la ville historique de Grand Lake et des 415 kilomètres carrés du parc national Rocky Mtn, cette propriété constitue le refuge ultime pour ceux qui recherchent une beauté des paysages et des activités adaptées à tous les âges et à tous les niveaux.

Niché au milieu des pins gris et des trembles, le Lakehouse in the Woods domine le lac Shadow Mtn, le lac Grand et le mont Baldy. Construit en 2007, ce magnifique chalet avec sa spacieuse plateforme enveloppante offre un design ouvert exceptionnel et un savoir-faire haut de gamme.

À l'intérieur, vous aurez beaucoup d'espace pour vous détendre et vous étendre. La grande salle offre un mobilier en cuir confortable, une télévision à écran plat, un lecteur DVD et une immense cheminée en pierre naturelle. La cuisine ouverte comprend un grand îlot de quartz pouvant accueillir 8 personnes et offrant une vue sur les lacs et les bois environnants. Il y a 4 salles de bains, beaucoup de savon et de serviettes, et une buanderie à utiliser si nécessaire. L'entrée avant carrelée comprend un banc complet et de nombreux crochets pour suspendre vestes et équipements de loisirs.

* Remarque - Le tarif d’hiver correspond à une occupation de 6 personnes et la chambre avec lits superposés de 5 lits est verrouillée et inaccessible, ce qui laisse trois chambres king séparées. Cela permet des frais de nettoyage moins élevés et nous pouvons donc offrir la maison à un taux inférieur. Invités supplémentaires autorisés (en utilisant la chambre avec lits superposés) moyennant un supplément.

Lovely Home

Wow! Beautiful home, well laid out, several living areas on each floor. Kitchen well stocked and all appliance worked great. Great communication with the hosts from check-in to check-out. View from the large porch was beautiful in the morning facing east and beautiful at sunset too. Enjoyed the town of Grand Lakes too.

Family Vacation

We couldn't be happier with this cabin rental! It is located close to all the recreational activities Grand Lake has to offer, but feels tucked away for a restful retreat after a day of fun out and about. It is cozy and peaceful, nicely decorated with a well equipped kitchen. We especially enjoyed the view of the lake from the cabin. The host was great to communicate with and check-in/ check-out was simple. We hope to come back and enjoy again!

Beautiful home

We had a wonderful vacation in Grand Lake and loved having this beautiful home as our "home base" for the week. The view from the deck overlooking Shadow Mountain Lake & Grand Lake was the perfect spot to enjoy not just the view, but the 4th of July fireworks too! The home is gorgeous, clean and stocked with nearly anything you could imagine needing to enjoy your stay and the hosts were awesome and available for any/all questions. Thank you so much Matthew & Krystal for allowing us to enjoy your special place!

Mountain Retreat

This property was beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Krystal was very prompt with answering any of my questions and was clearly eager to ensure our stay was a pleasurable experience. We used one of the outdoor fire pits for roasting hot dogs and making s’mores. The view of the lake and mountains was incredible!

Grand Lake getaway

A beautiful spacious home with amazing views! The kitchen was well stocked, the furniture was comfortable and the beds were great! We had easy communication with the owner and she was very nice and helpful. The only issue that folks should be aware of, is that traffic noise could be very loud at times. Other than that, it was wonderful and we would stay there again.

A Relaxing Getaway

A beautiful home in a very scenic location. We enjoyed spending time on the deck watching nature go by. My son and I love photography and took amazing shots of hummingbirds, magpies, American White Pelicans and many other birds right from the deck! We had a moose visit the property for a photo shoot as well. The property is conveniently located near the national park and many other scenic byways. We had a wonderful time. Our hosts were very welcoming and gracious. I highly recommend this home as a wonderful place to stay.

I want the house.

Wonderful property with such a warm and radiant interior. This is the house that absolutely welcomes a holiday with friends and family with a gentle rolling fire, sitting on the hearth, cozy socks, and warm mugs of tea, coffee, or chocolate. The kitchen is well stocked, instructions are clear for everything, and the owner is easily accessible via text. The portrait view of Mt. Craig through the living room or from the deck, overlooking Grand Lake, Andrews, and Shadow Mountain, are unreal. Every morning prompted a long look from the deck while I stayed.

Great experience and location

The owners clearly take a lot of pride in this property and it shows. Clean and well-maintained, comfortable for hanging out, with all the household items you'd expect. Our group (4 couples) cooked every night and had everything we needed for a variety of meals. Walkable distance into town, and easy access to RMNP. Note that the owners require both a damage deposit AND insurance and that any damages come out of the deposit before insurance kicks in, which is unusual and a considerable up-front expense.

We loved almost everything about this gorgeous, spacious home. The highway noise was significant and affected the amount of time we used the porch. We were also disappointed that the lower bedroom did not have a door for privacy. The hosts were wonderful though and we highly recommend this for a family vacation!

We are Matt and Krystal Flynn. We were married in Grand Lake in the summer of 2016. We have always loved the beauty and small, mountain town feel of Grand Lake... not to mention the abundant wildlife that seems to enjoy the heart of Grand Lake as much as we do.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We bought this property from the man that built it and wanted to acknowledge his hard work, attention to detail, and the desire to share this property with visitors from all over. We have traveled to this area for quite a few years to enjoy the beauty, wildlife, and recreation that it offers. Krystal and I loved Grand Lake so much that we decided to be married here. In the summer of 2016, we shared our marriage vows in front of family and friends from all over the country. We'd like to continue to share the beauty of this place with our family and friends, and all the new friends that will come to stay at this house. Not only is the Grand Lake area very near and dear to us, but we found that with this house in particular, that the views from the deck overlooking the lakes and mountains are absolutely second to none in Grand Lake.
