This newly constructed, UPSTAIRS carriage house apartment is detached from the main house, has its own private entrance, and is located one block from downtown Main Street, directly across from the memorial pecan grove and picturesque gardens of the 109-year-old Chipley’s Women’s Club.
The space
This is not a shared space. You’ll have the entire carriage house apartment to yourself and will only share it with others in your party. And best of all, you won’t have any trouble finding the many destination-worthy spots around town because this cozy retreat is close to everything: less than a mile away from Callaway Gardens…steps from an abundance of downtown bars, eateries and entertainment…a 60 second walk from the Man O’ War walking/bicycle trail…a two minute drive from the popular 23-mile Pine Mountain hiking trail in F.D.R. State Park...a three minute drive from Wild Animal Safari Park…and just 277 feet from the local supermarket!

In fact, there is no rental home more beautiful and centrally located to everything that Pine Mountain has to do and see. This is a huge plus to most people because there’s no need to get behind the wheel of a car to explore downtown or to go get groceries or to dine out or to come home after having a few drinks. You are literally in the middle of all the action, yet set back just enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of small town life.

THE UNIT
The inside lives up to the outside’s standards too, featuring all-wood floors and all the necessities to make you feel at home. This one-bedroom apartment is bright and airy and has enough space to accommodate up to 4 people. The bedroom has a lovely queen bed, an end-of-the-bed bench, two night stands, two USB charging stations, a smart TV and a chest of drawers to store your clothes during your visit. There’s also more space available to keep any additional items in an adjacent closet where you’ll find an iron and ironing board for your convenience. The living room has a smart TV, two lamps, a small library of books for your reading pleasure and a pull-out couch that converts into a high-quality bed suitable for two. In both the bedroom and living room, the two smart TVs are equipped with Roku, along with a Dish Network satellite system and Wi-Fi internet service. The bathroom features a cozy shower that's just big enough for two people or one person who doesn't want to share the shampoo. You’ll also find the bathroom furnished with toiletries and more, like toothpaste, tooth brushes, shampoo, conditioner, makeup remover, a hairdryer and extra towels. There’s also a fully-equipped kitchen with a stainless steel microwave, stove, oven, fridge, coffee maker and all the basic kitchen stuff and utensils to cook meals. The kitchen cabinets and drawers are stocked with seasonings, kitchen towels, sponges, paper towels, trash bags and dish soap. There’s also an adjoining dining area where you can sit with your guests and enjoy your meals.
You are allowed to keep two vehicles on the property. Your parking spaces are located to the right of the garage. Do not park in front of the garage or on the street or block the front gate.

First, let’s just say that you can book with confidence because I have been in the home rental business for many years. I own a number of rental properties and I have a very experienced cleaning and management team that is responsive to problems.

Again, you are renting the UPSTAIRS carriage house apartment over the garage which has its own private entrance in the rear of the property. There is a walkway leading around to the back of the main house and up some stairs. The property is extremely well lit at night. Also, keep in mind that the police and fire stations are two blocks away, so this is an extremely safe neighborhood.

NO SMOKING/ VAPING/ DRUGS/ PARTYING/ LOUD MUSIC OR OBNOXIOUS BEHAVIOR
Because we cater to small families and couples looking to get away and relax, we do not allow smoking or partying in our place or outside on our property. We ask that you respect these conditions or you will be asked to leave without a refund and charged extra fees for cleanup. Of course, you’re welcome to drink and enjoy yourself, but going overboard is not acceptable. If you’re planning to party please choose a hotel that may not mind this type of behavior. We have a very peaceful neighborhood and we don’t want to upset our neighbors. Quiet time is after 9:00 pm.

NO PETS
We cannot allow any pets, service or therapy animals due to severe pet allergies in our family and for guests.
