Southern Porch Charmer - Walk to Downtown Main Street and Waterfront!

Take a break, unwind and enjoy the peaceful double column porches and charming southern architecture. Private back deck and yard for play and relaxation. The home provides a large kitchen with open den for enjoying time together, as well as, a formal dining room and living room parlor. Master bedroom with full bath on first floor and two bedrooms, full bath and private office on second floor. Washer and dryer at your disposal.
The entire 3 bedroom 2 full bath property, the beautiful wraparound southern style front porch, back deck and partially fenced private yard with coded entrance is your home away from home. Your host is just a phone call or message away for all your needs. Please feel free to reach out for anything, your calls and texts are always welcome! We are local, so we will make every effort to answer you questions and accommodate your requests.
You will be just a couple minutes walk to Main Street shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Also, Edenton's historic movie theater and stunning sunsets on the waterfront! Park in your private driveway and enjoy your time exploring historic Edenton, named “The Prettiest Small Town in the South.”

Weekend stay

There were some problems when we arrived. Blown fuse, appliances not working and downstairs plumbing issues in the bathroom. The owners responded quickly and fixed all except the plumbing because it was the weekend and a plumber was unavailable. So that’s not on the owner. The home was in a great location. Easy to walk downtown.

Easy walk to waterfront and historic sites. Had everything we needed. Parking and downstairs bath are tight, but not an issue. Would stay here again and enjoyed our first trip to Edenton.

Stayed here with wife (Papa and Mimi) and our Sheltie with grandson and daughter on visit with my mother who lives in nearby Creswell. Close walking distance to Edenton Bay, the shops and restaurants on Broad street and Farmers market. Perfect location with wraparound around porch, nice neighborhood and southern charm. Already planning our next stay here!

Return To Edenton

I was in Edenton for a class months ago and promised myself to come back with my girlfriend. I did exactly that on Valentines Day, our fourth anniversary of togetherness. Having a clean, comfortable, spacious place to stay the following weekend enabled us to tour the town and sample its cuisine. Although the downstairs bed had been too soft for us and we had concern about the wobbly downstairs dining room table and upstairs toilet, none of this we felt significantly detracted from the “prettiness”, convenience, and charm of the place big enough for two adult couples, with or without pets. We planned to come back.

Jayme’s house was perfect from the minute we arrived, until the minute we left. The house was clean, comfortable, and charming! Impeccable Charm

This home away from home was everything needed and so much more. Attention to detail unparalleled, but with all of the modern conveniences. Loved that all of charm of the original home was preserved. The owner was very responsive to all communications and went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. I hope to return to Edenton in the spring and will definitely book this home again.
