Heavenly oceanfront 2bd condo in West Maui

Hololani A402 does not have A/C and is a 2-bedroom- 2-bath condo located on the 4th floor that offers ceiling fans throughout and an in-unit washer/dryer. This property has elevators for easy access. Unit A402 can accommodate up to 6 guests. The front bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed and magnificent ocean views. Open the slider doors from your lanai access and lull yourself to sleep at night with the outside noise. This bedroom is separated by a retractable sliding door connected to the living room. The ensuite bathroom is bright and airy and features a large, walk-in shower. The second bedroom is just across the hall and also features a king-size bed and a pocket door for added privacy. The ensuite bathroom features a tub/shower combo. Relax and unwind in the open-concept living area featuring Hawaiian-inspired decor and furnishings, a flat-screen TV, and a large, comfortable sectional sofa that converts to a queen-size bed for extra guests. The fully equipped kitchen is the perfect spot to make all your meals in-house.

Hololani (which is Hawaiian for “Heaven”) is an oceanfront condominium resort located in Kahana. Embrace the convenience of a free assigned parking spot, indulge in the oceanfront pool, or savor a delightful BBQ experience in the designated area. There is a beach directly in front of the resort; sand levels and access can vary depending on conditions. Beach access is available at some of the neighboring resorts (Sands of Kahana). Hololani is within walking distance of several beaches, shops, golf courses, and restaurants. There are no parking or resort fees.

Lack of air conditioning will be a big deterrent from staying at this property again. Misleading that this condo is 2 bedrooms as the 2nd bedroom is an extension of the living room with a big pocket door

Property is as listed. Great view! We got lucky to see some sea turtles. Kitchen has everything that you would need to even grill or bake. There were six of us and we were able to find space to rest well. Definitely recommend if you don’t mind having no AC, which is no problem unless you’re a very hot natured person.

Amazing location, great condo, but management company is disappointing.

Beautiful stay!

The unit is just as it appears in pictures! Very nice and very clean! We were on the go most of the time, but the time we did spend on the balcony and down at the pool was very Zen like and relaxing! We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing views!! Has everything that you need. From beach chairs to a very well stocked kitchen and very clean grills by the pool, this place won't disappoint. Underground free parking spot available also! Love it!!

Perfect location!! perfect view to the ocean!! For a family of 6 it was awesome space. Open floor plan and comfortable!! We had an issue that after discussion was fixed as promised! Communication was very speedy!!

Five Star Condo!

What a beautiful condo! The location is perfect! You are close to Lahaina and there are so many local places to eat. The condo is immaculately decorated, and you will not want to leave after sitting on the lanai for breakfast every morning. We saw whales and turtles every single day! It was amazing! The property is so quiet and peaceful. I can't wait to stay here again!

Beautiful

Beautiful ocean view ! No obstructions. A little warm inside during day but breeze at night cooled it right off! Could have had a few more ocean items, another chair, boogie boards , snorkel equip, etc . Would have liked more convenient beach access. But overall a great place to sit on balcony and watch the amazing ocean!

Perfect stay for some rest and relaxation

This unit is very well kept. Spacious and has everything you need. 2 bedrooms with their own full bath. Fully equipped kitchen. Spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony. The view is spectacular. We had breakfast every morning on the balcony. There is some construction going on through December but didn't bother us at all. Unit is right next to the elevator so going from the parking garage to the room or to the pool was easy. We will be staying here again next year.

Nice condo with great view.

Fantastic view of the ocean. Condo is clean and well furnished. Parking is included in underground garage. Appliances all works great. Extra linens provided and appreciated. Location is very close to amenities and easy to get onto the highway. No AC in condo but once the doors are open there is a nice breeze. The only issue encountered was with elevator not working consistently in the building.

Amazing view, amazing whale watching

Amazing condo with an absolutely breathtaking view. I visited during January which is peak whale season in Maui and I can’t even tell you how many whales I saw from the lanai in this condo. It left me speechless. It was perfect size for my family. It was clean, and overall well taken care or. The property management team responded to any questions or concerns I had via email in a timely fashion. I would definitely stay here again. My only negative is that the parking space provided is a little tight in the garage.

Great location.

We loved the location, unit could be a little cleaner. Some of the info in the information book in the unit needs to be updated with correct Wi-Fi info, how to operate the tv etc. We did not have housekeeping services every 8 days, as noted in the book. We asked the local contact and were told there was no housekeeping. Would have been nice to have clean linens and towels after a week.

Truly a perfect stay

Our family of 6 fully enjoyed the condo. The view is outstanding. I was apprehensive about the beach access being a ways away, but we are explorers and ended up wanting to drive to various beaches around the island anyways to get to different snorkeling, surfing and boogie boarding spots. After adventuring all day we couldn’t wait to get back to the lanai to watch the sunset. The kids would swim in the warm pool under the tiki torches. We had all needed supplies in the condo. I asked for a couple extra blankets and they brought them to us super quickly. I think this condo is such a wonderful and affordable option for a family looking to get away to Maui and spend their time and money on adventures and food instead of blowing a huge amount of money on the hotel. It was perfect for us and we hope to return someday!

Unobstructed views and fantastic home-away-from-home

We could not have been more pleased with our stay. After years of doing the high-end resort experience, we were looking for something more intimate and laid back. We were delighted when we first entered the condo and were blown away by the unobstructed western view of the ocean and only about a half pitching wedge from the breaking waves. We ate all our meals on the expansive veranda, watching the whales, sea turtles, spectacular rainbows and Venus and Jupiter shining brightly. The unit was very well furnished and super clean and every conceivable applicable/utensil to make us feel at home. Had one occasion to contact the property manager (My Perfect Stays) and they were amazing as well. We will definitely return, even though we have moved to Tennessee so it's a bit of a trek, but well worth the effort.

Biggest issue....no air conditioning at this unit. Time to change out the sliding glass doors and a few other issues that hopefully will be fixed. through my comments to management.

Beautiful views and condo. Traffic noise but didn't bother me as I sleep harder than the others staying. The ice machine was not working and when I called for help the maintenance man reported he fixed it but never came. By the time they offered they come to fix this and help the bathtub drain faster, it was time for us to check out so said never mind. The concierge was as helpful as she could be.

Great location, nice condo, but disappointing management company

Loved the condo and location. It was perfect for our family trip. The grills outside were great to use and cleaned every morning. The downside is the management company: It seems they are in between management companies and so you get contacted by both yet the issues with the condo were unresolved. The condo bedrooms were dusty upon check in and the dryer had issues. I contacted the management company and they never responded until the end when they asked for a five star review- HA! I hope they figure this out as it's a great condo in an amazing location.

Love Hawaii

The condo itself was in a good location, although there was basically not beach access as we expected. It was clean, well stocked, great showers, etc., Nice lanai. Little to no beach equipment. Why the lower overall rating: Parking was very difficult in our assigned space (Next to wall on one side and very tight maneuverability). We were notified of ongoing construction to the buildings, etc. shortly before our trip, but never expected it to be so unforgivingly loud. We were often chased out of chill time at the condo and lanai on days we had wanted to spend at location due to this condition.

Not family friendly, Worst vacation experience ever

Not Family Friendly! The property manager was very unprofessional. First night there she turned the pool lights off on us, while we were still swimming. At 8:30pm the pool closes at 9pm. The next day I asked why the pool lights were turned off at 8:30pm when the pool closes at 9pm she apologized and said it’s on a timer. Than the next day same thing. And we over heard her telling another guess that she was ready for bed and turned the lights off so the kids would get out of the pool so she could close everything up. She lives in a room on the ground level with her cats next to the pool. The next day my eleven year old son was getting ready to go down to the pool and was standing on the lanai and set his towel on the railing, before I could remind him that they don’t want us placing any thing on the railing. The manager yelled out from the ground level, at him to take his towel off the railing. We were staying on the fourth floor. On are last night there I mentioned to her that the lights were still going out before the pool closed and it’s dangerous when we can’t even see the pool steps to safety get out of the pool. That night she turned the pool lights off on us at 8pm. We decided to just keep swimming, at 8:30 she came to close the pool down. I reminded her of the pool rules and the sign said 9pm. And she continued to start locking up. So we used our cell phone flashlights to leave the pool. I will never stay at this place again. Worst vacation experience ever.

Never stay here absolute disaster

This has been a trip from hell starting with arriving to the Hololani and discovering much of the complex under construction nets everywhere broken concrete and JACKHAMMERS that persist all day long!! Then laying asphalt with smells permeating the entire condo. WTH?! Beds are awful and fold like a taco but worst of all?? Vacasa is the absolute worst to work with. Offered a small credit to compensate as others were getting huge chunks back from private owners(as they should with nightmare noise and smells) I spent countless hours on the phone. They offered us to move to a ghetto villa that’s 1 bedroom. Why would we switch to a one bedroom and spend half a day shlepping all our stuff there?! So awful dealing with these folks. Low rate complex with the worst garage tiny space ever. Try loading your car and backing out. What a joke. I have pix and videos. I was NEVER informed there will be construction. Super bait and switch. These repairs were permitted and planned!!

This is the second time we have stayed in this condo. Once in July and now in December. Perfect for July but there is no air conditioning. Close and convenient to shopping and restaurants.

The best accomodation ever

Rocation, elevator what connected parking lot, door, kitchen, ocean view, couch, bed room, matress size and everything. A402 is the best spot what I stay ever. If I am there, I'll stay again.

off season stay in West Maui

Sunset on the deck, coffee on the deck, climbing down the sand bags to wave jump, sit on the sand, swim, and if the waves were calm, snorkel. Ocean views, sound of the waves. Easy process with Vacassa.
