The unit itself is absolutely perfect for one or two people. It has plenty of room, the bed was very comfortable, and I loved the bath towels. The location is great—within walking distance of the trail and only about 1.5 miles from downtown Dunedin. I also appreciated the coffee, creamer, and the welcome bowl of treats.Unfortunately, that welcome bowl ended up causing issues. I had a continuous stream of ants, and I believe they were attracted to something in the bowl, even though everything was wrapped. Ants are a common nuisance where I live, so I wasn’t overly alarmed, but it was definitely not how I wanted to start my stay. I took photos immediately and messaged the owner through the app as soon as I arrived, especially since I had dinner plans and didn’t want to spend my first hour dealing with pests.I didn’t hear back from the owner until after I had already checked out.I also had to reach out two hours before check‑in time because I never received instructions on how to access the unit. She did respond to that message, but there were still no directions for using the Apple TV, and I never received the Wi‑Fi code despite asking.Given how many reviews praised the owner’s responsiveness, I was very disappointed with the lack of communication during my stay. I even reached out again before writing this review and still received no response.

Spring Training Getaway

We had an excellent stay and Vanessa was an fantastic host. Promptly answered any questions and the property was exactly as posted. If you are going to Spring training the location is perfect. Few minutes walk to the stadium and if you bring your bike it a minute or so to the Pinellas Trail giving you quick access to Dunedin and Clearwater beach. Highly recommend staying here.

Honeymoon getaway

This property was super private & very romantic. We absolutely loved it! The first day we got there, there were a lot of mosquitoes inside the property. No big deal, we used a fly swatter for a couple hours & they were gone. The water pressure in the shower was slower but it got the job done, just took a little longer. I’m sure if they replace the shower head, it would work fine. Other than that it was perfect!

Lovely Farmhouse cottage

We enjoyed a busy week at this lovely Casita. Such a private, quiet, serene spot, close to so many things that we enjoy doing when we visit the Dunedin/Clearwater area. The location is ideal for walking into town or just on the trail. Vanessa was available if we needed her. Everything was clean, well furnished, and very comfortable both inside and outside. I would highly recommend this wonderful place.

Pleasant studio at the back of the garden

We enjoyed the location of this property. It was close enough to walk into Dunedin via a well-maintained trail that paralleled the shore. It was a good location from which we visited various places around Clearwater, Dunedin, and St. Petersburg. The kitchen was serviceable, and the whole place was nice and clean. The outdoor eating area was enjoyable when the weather was dry. We liked it very much!

Winter Get Away

This listing is a delightful surprise. It felt like we were in the country. The couple has turned the backyard into a garden, bee and a few chickens habitat. We had a lovely patio with table and chairs. We were refreshed by this stay; just what we needed.

Fantastic

Loved it. Clean and has everything you need. Wonderful host who grows lots of vegtables in garden. Very Central to rent a bike and go to lovely Dunedin and Clearwater. Bike trails a minute away.

A real gem

One of the quietest neighborhoods I have stayed in, which was a huge relief coming from NYC. Neighborhood is very clean and safe. House was very easy to find. Walking distance to a convenience store, Main Street, and the Toronto Blue Jays spring training complex. A short drive to Pier 60 at Clearwater Beach. The inside of the condo was very clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was perfect. A short drive to and from the airport. CMX Countryside movie theater close by. I would highly recommend it to friends or family.

Comfortable Casita

Blue Jay fans you're about 4 blocks from the ball park, even though you're in Clearwater. It's about a mile to downtown Dunedin. The Casita top notch linens and towels. The kitchen is small but has all you might need. The king bed is comfy. Shower separate from toilet allows for privacy. Casita is located behind a house so it's very quiet. AC works well and ample water pressure for showers. Seating is limited to a couch and one chair. Most of property is devoted to a vegetable garden, which is well kept. The Casita is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Perfect for quiet, safe and comfortable short term rental

Dunedin Florida is a five minute drive from the property were we found many interesting shops and restaurants. Amazing grouper at Carvor's restaurant, painted fish gallery, farmer's market on weekends and Beatles museum are a few highlights. A walking / bike trail a couple blocks from the property will take you right into town. Its a 30 minute walk. In Dunedin you can walk on a side walk next to the water but there is no beach. For beach time our favorite was Honeymoon Island, a 15 min drive which is a barrier island state park. A nice and gracious couple live onsite and host the property in a unique small farmette setting where almost every inch is devoted to growing fruit, flowers and vegetables. Its not a fancy place, but adequate to get some rest (it was quiet), cook some nice fish and enjoy some time away.

Cozy and Quaint!

This little bungalow was cozy, quaint, and definitely gave “you get what you pay for” vibes but in a charming way. That said, the online photos were a bit optimistic. The listing mentioned a hot tub, which didn’t exist (RIP to our spa dreams), but we managed to recover emotionally.The outdoor area was gorgeous—like a secret garden—but the bugs were relentless. We basically played a live-action game of “don’t get bit” every time we walked to the car. (We also made the bold decision to forgo bug spray, so that’s partly on us.)The bed looked like it came with a fluffy comforter in the photos, but in reality, it was a decorative light quilt folded nicely at the end—cute, but not exactly cozy. The place was a little more snug than expected, but still a sweet stay overall.We saw a couple people during our visit, but no one said hi, so we weren’t sure if we were sharing the space with other guests or ghosts. Bonus note: there are two bikes, but unless you’re training for the Tour de France, I’d skip them—they were more aerodynamic torture devices than beach cruisers.All in all, we had a good time. Just come prepared, expect a few surprises, and enjoy the garden… it really is the star of the show.
