Great house

This house was just outside of town which was perfect. We were in town for my son’s travel ball tournament and this house was about 13 minutes from the fields. We loved the massage chair, comfortable beds, elliptical, and the house decor. Great stay and highly recommend.

Great place to stay! Loved the back porch and gazebo. Rooms were nice and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

The stay was nice. Need hand rails on front porch and trim the tree had to duck under to get in Senior or handy cap people should use the side entrance! Plenty of room and space

Comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood

This spacious house house had almost everything we needed for a 5-day stay. In the kitchen pots and pans were limited, though, and there was no blender. I had to do some work but there is no desk and the internet kept cutting out while I was on a Zoom call. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Close to ft. Knox and amenities

We enjoyed our stay and asked for recommendations from the host who was very responsive. About 15 min from ft Knox and 5-10 from restaurants and shopping.

Garden Paradise

The gardens were beautiful. Very nice gazebo in fenced in back yard. House was beautiful, clean and well stocked. The host communicated well and the place was very peaceful for a family get together and place to stay. We loved it!!

State Championship getaway

Check-in was super easy and communication was great with host. House was very clean and perfect for our 4 night stay. Location was perfect for us. Our swimming event was 6 minutes from the house so it made going back and forth so easy. Host was very accommodating to our needs.

Ripken trip

This place was perfect for playing in Ripken. Easy 15min drive to the fields and plenty of space to host a team cookout. Host was great and we had no issues during our stay.

Bourbon Trail Abode

Great place to stay for a Bourbon Trail getaway! Clean, comfy & cozy. The massage chair was an unexpected treat! Perfect size for 3 couples…close enough to commerce but still felt tucked away in the countryside.

Ideal home for Fort Knox event

House is roomy and cozy. Everything is clean, organized and tidy. Property feels tucked away, but restaurants are close. Easy access to Fort Knox for ROTC graduation. Special thanks to our host for allowing early check in! We will pass on the location to our VMI Family. Our stay was perfect.

This is our 2nd year staying and absolutely love the place and location. Elizabethtown is 7 min away with restaurants and shopping. I would sit outside on the swing with my dad and enjoy the view. We saw deer in the pasture the other night! The grill works great! Thank you we definitely enjoyed our stay!!

Grad Girls’ Trip

We were so pleased with this home located in a beautiful neighborhood close to everything we wanted to do. The house had plenty of room for us, a group of 5 ladies who have been friends over 50 years. The home was extremely clean, comfortable, and was like being in our own place. We will definitely stay here again!

Peaceful place

The drive up to the house made me think to myself, I chose the right home. It’s so peaceful and quiet. Check in was easy, space was perfect, kitchen is as pictured and they have a massaging chair which we all enjoyed. I liked that they had everything you need in the kitchen for cooking. I only cooked once and it was for breakfast but it was super helpful. The main bed was so nice I fell in the love with the two sink bathroom. The bed mattress was very confortable. They had a ton of extra comforters if needed and extra pillows in the closets. The back yard is facing with other home but there is a small pond. The first morning I was able to enjoy watching some geese that were in the water. They had several bird homes Around the fence in the back (thought that was cute). Overall super homey and peaceful home I will definitely be back to this home again.

Convention stay over

A very cozy and well equipped place that had everything we needed. Extremely clean and weak manicured property. We will definitely put this place on our favourites within VRBO and recommend it highly to anyone who doesn’t mind the country, including the iconic real rooster wake up alarm We can’t say enough about this place. It is a must stay if you are in this area.

Cozy home.

The house is very cozy. Beds were very comfortable. All appliances worked as they should. The house was very spacious for 4 adults. The owner was very responsive to any questions. Comes with all basic accommodations and then some. It made us feel like home while we were away.

Ft. Knox visit

We stayed 2 nights for our daughter's graduation from Ft. Knox. Good location, spacious and clean home. Location convenient to nearby Elizabethtown (Target, Wal-Mart.) Make sure you bring your own shampoo, conditioner. There was no toilet paper in one bathroom. The bed in the master is in need of replacement. It is so soft you can hardly turn over. However, for a 2 night stay this spot was more than adequate and we would use again.

Furniture is comfortable. Very clean. Has the beginning of an exercise room. Nice deck and gazebo. Part of the backyard fence has loose around the gate. It had been raining with a few storms before we arrived, so the loose fence could have happened during that time. Not giving the owner a chance to fix it before we got there. Overall this will be the property we stay at when we visit our children in the Elizabethtown area.

Great home!

My husband and I, along with my sister and her husband stayed here for our Anniversay getaway. We had lunch train tickets for Saturday in Bardstown, which was less than 30 min away. We loved the home! Clean and comfy. Host was so nice, let us drop off a car before check in, so we could explore the city together in 1 vehicle. Also let us check in early! They had comfy leather reclining sofas, lots of streaming channels. We relaxed in the evening, and slept soundly. No noise (not even the roosters next door bothered us...we never heard them) King bed was amazing. (It was a soft cloud..I loved it...hubby likes firm...but..I loved it). The heat works great, was a chilly 1st night but we were toasty. Shower was great! Soaps, lotion and Toilet paper were available. Towels were super soft, amazing! Kitchen had everything we needed, and then some. Nespresso machine was a nice surprise. I will stay again and let others know. Was a great stay! Thank you for being so kind!

Had some issues

Pros: Overall the home was clean and suited our needs for laundry, clean bathrooms and bedding, a garage, tv, Netflix etc. FYI: The 3rd bedrooms queen bed is extremely firm - Firm enough to mention in case anyone in your party has back, neck or shoulder issues. This can be good or bad I suppose depending on your preferences. The back yard is wide and open, with a large firepit our kids loved doing s'mores on. The kitchen was equipped well and was also clean. Cons: When first walking in we noticed there were interior cameras in the home. While I understand the reasoning for recording devices, they did make us uncomfortable for our privacy and our kids. They are technically not allowed on VRBO properties, so this was a concern. Upon arrival there was a trap that unfortunately had a rodent in it. The listing also advertised a hot tub which was not on property and that was originally a deciding factor for choosing this one, so that was disappointing. The host was apologetic about this and communicated swiftly and politely.
