We enjoyed the hangout space in this home. It has a comfortable living and dining room and a well-stocked kitchen. The location was convenient for our stay. It is close to downtown and the waterfront.
Charming house conveniently located near downtown.
The house is charming and comfortable. Lots of space for you and your guests. Located close to downtown. House is fully supplied with whatever you may need. I would recommend this rental.
The house is old and beautiful. We were very comfortable and the home is well furnished. We only really used the home to bathe and sleep as we were there for a wedding so didnât use most of the amenities. However, the host is trying to blame us for a ceiling fan that no longer works that we never used. For a house that is as old as it is, you should expect to have to do some maintenance and occasionally replace things. While I understand their frustration - blaming and charging someone for something that we didnât use was beyond frustrating for us and we will not be returning and would not advise anyone to stay here.
Great home and location! You will instantly feel welcomed and a bit nostalgic like a weekend at Grandmaâs house. Home is clean and fully stocked down to farm fresh local eggs provided. Perfect family weekend - will definitely stay again!
I really enjoyed my stay in Davenport and she was such a great host. She made sure to stay in contact with me while my stay. The house cooled very nicely in the summer so that was nice for me as well. It was very easy to get to everywhere that I wanted to go. It was very clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay there again.
We typically stay on N Brady St in a hotel when we visit the Quad Cities. This time we chose to save some $$ and go with a rental not far from Palmer's campus.
