At San Lucas Palms, you`ll have access not only to our private home, but also easy access to the Tahquitz Creek Trail which is great for morning walks and runs, with easy access to the South into Deepwell and Twin Palms Neighborhoods.

We won`t be available in-person, however our local concierge will be 24/7. We are also always reachable by the app, phone or text.

Tahquitz River Estates was the most ambitious housing development that had ever been attempted in the city of Palm Springs. Today, the creek’s adjacent footpath is an idyllic place to run, bike, walk, watch wildlife and mingle with others in the neighborhood.

On either side of the banks of Tahquitz wash, just south of central Palm Springs, lies a neighborhood which uniquely represents the past, the present and the future of Palm Springs. More than just a showcase of homes, Tahquitz River Estates is one of the largest neighborhoods in Palm Springs.

A museum of architecture

With 1,100 homes and a museum of architecture spanning close to 90 years, this neighborhood has a rich architectural mix. Very large one-car garage onsite and ample street parking. Optional two beach cruisers to rent at $10 per day for really fun cruising around town.

There is morning coffee within walking distance at Townie Bagels, grocreies at Nature`s Health Food and Cafe, as well as Ralph`s. 5-minute drive to downtown and at most 10 minutes to any sites in Palm Springs.

The pool area features a modern in-ground pool, a poolside outdoor fire pit, above ground jacuzzi, outdoor dining and BBQ outdoor cooking area.

CONCIERGE: Your private concierge will greet you and help you get acclimated to the estate. They are available to you 24x7 if you have questions or need anything, including meals, massages, etc... (fees apply)

SPA/JACUZZI HEATING: FREE! :)

POOL HEATING: Heating outdoor pools in Palm Springs requires large amounts of natural gas, so heating with natural gas will incur an extra fee and will be billed prior to your arrival. If you`d like the pool heated please mention it in your reservation request and we`ll let you know the details - heating the pool up to a comfortable temperature (82 to 84 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on how cool it is outside) takes approximately 18 hours.

ENERGY CAP: Our home is highly energy efficient, well insulated w/ solar panels. However, to encourage responsible behavior (e.g. keeping doors and windows closed while AC/heat is running) there is an energy cap of $70 per week. For reference, our monthly energy bill during the hottest months in Palm Springs is no more than $125 - (and we like the house cool in the summer and warm in winter...).

SECURITY: For security of the property when it`s *unoccupied*, we have security cameras. All cameras except for the front doorbell will be disabled during your stay. There are LED indicator lights on all cameras to verify on/off. We also have decibel (noise level) monitoring to ensure no one gets fined by the City of Palm Springs due to vacation rental noise ordinances.

- NO POOL PARTIES! ABSOLUTELY NO AMPLIFIED SOUND/MUSIC

NOISE: Palm Springs is very particular about noise - absolutely no audio should be ever heard from outside the house. Failure to do so will be result in removal from property and potential fine from the city of Palm Springs up to $10,000 (yikes)!

Garbage: Bins are next to the garage. Composting is now required by law in California, so please use the compost bin and empty into the green bin.

Pets: Absolutely ***no*** pets, no exceptions (due to allergies). We monitor our doorbell camera on checkin - if you are caught with a pet - $1000 fee and you`ll be asked to leave immediately

PLEASE USE PROVIDED COASTERS AND HOT PADS. Damage to furniture will be billed at full cost of replacement. Absolutely no smoking of any kind. No candles No massage oils!

Additional Guests: NO additional guests on the property without prior approval; no additional guests may stay in the house due to Palm Springs rental laws - we monitor our doorbell camera at checkin and will ask you to leave if you bring additional guest to stay in the house.

Weekly maintenance - pool Mon+Thu AM, Spa Wed afternoon, gardening Thu AM. All services take 30-40 mins.

Perfect Madmen house

Love this mid century modern house. Felt like I stepped onto the Madmen movie set. The outside space is beautifully designed with a water feature and koi fish pond. So relaxing.Beds were beyond comfortable, May have to buy for my house. Walking distance to downtown. Missy (property manager) and Adam (owner) made sure we had everything for our perfect stay. Will definitely be back!

Highly Recommend Palm Springs

The photos for this property don't actually do it justice. It's a wonderful property that has been so incredibly well thought out. The owners have really thought about the visitor experience and have created a fabulous environment and a lovely place to base for a Palm Springs holiday. Check in was perfect. Missy, their host is very welcoming and super helpful. The owners communication was spot on from the moment of booking. I highly recommend this home and will be returning.
