Casa Izamal - great Property, Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have previously stayed in Izamal one (the first floor of this property) The layout for 2 couples is better in Izamal 1 with each bedroom having its own bathroom as an ensuite. But, the extra bright sunny Izamal 2 is nicer along with the lovely little uppper deck and of course the breezes you get. The small pool area is stunning for such a small area with all the plants and flowers. We were fortunate to have excellent neighbors below (fellow Canadians from Ontario) who always made sharing the pool and pool area a non issue. I would stay here again and I would recommend it to others. I would be perfect to have 6 - 8 people and both units rented.

Wonderfull and perfect!

Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderfull vacation at casa izamal #2 ; we were there for 2 weeks in feb.2017 , 4 adults and 2 babies (the master bedroom was spacious enough to put 2 port-a-crib) , the photos and the property description are really accurate regarding the location, amenities, etc...) the manager provide excellent customer service and the property is very clean and well-maintained The beach is 2 min. walk , the beach chairs are included and we borrowed an umbrella at the office ( 3 min. walk from the casa) ... Down town of Puerto morelos is 10 min. walk , it is very nice with a lot of restaurants (i don't have a favorite, they are all very good!) Families with children must go to crococun zoo ! About 5 min. in taxi from the casa You can pay everything with mexican pesos .. For the grocery you go to super chedraui , about 2 min. In taxi , 30 pesos (2,50 $can) : you will find everything you need there! Puerto morelos is very nice, quiet and the location is perfect: a lot of places to visit near by ; xcaret, xel-ha, playa del carmen, cozumel, cancun, isla de mujeres... No car needed! You can go everywhere with bus or taxi at a very good price! We really have enjoyed our vacation and we will come back as soon as we can!

Easily walkable to the beach and all amenities in town and very private and safe feeling. The property owner was very accommodating and friendly and available for anything we needed. It was really nice to have so much information about the area on the website and office staff was amazing to book transportation to excursions. We felt very welcome and everyone wanted us to enjoy ourselves. We had an amazing visit to Mexico!

Very nice, bright and clean apartment, the beds were confortable and the balcony wonderful for our breakfasts and apéritifs! The bathrooms could maybe use a little upgrade, but they were perfectly clean. The pool is small but very nice and refreshing. Milko was so nice and always ready to help if we needed anything. We certainly recommand a stay at Casa Izamal!

Excellent home, excellent host

It was super cozy, very clean, abosolutely family-friendly (stayed with two kids, they loved it), a warm, Mexican-style decor, all amenities, the pool was so refreshing, and anything we needed, Milko was always there to provide us with everything (water, high chair, repair toilet, etc.). There is cable TV and Netflix which is a plus :) We recommend staying in Milko's home, we would definitley return any time! Grazie Milko! :)

Delightful Casa with a Walled-in Pool

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is a treasure. I stayed upstairs in the second unit and loved the veranda every morning with my beloved. The beds were comfy and the general feel of the apartment was casual, clean and cozy. If I wanted to cook - the kitchen is equipped with everything one would need for meal making and serving it. The casa is immaculately cleaned and cared for. It is decorated with a nice understated Mexican flair, that made for a delightful vacation home. The fab pool is the perfect size for a dip with a nice area to recline and chill-out. It is a 3 minute easy walk to town and even closer to the fabulous white sandy beach.

We spent every morning on the balcony pictured, enjoying the breeze off the ocean and the quiet street below. All of the staff were gracious and hospitable, and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great stay. The location of Casa Izamal is also great, it's a short walk to to town and an even shorter walk to the beach, but set back from the noisier main boulevard. All in all a beautiful trip!

The property (as all other Abbey Del Sol properties) was very clean and well stocked with water, cooking equipment, bedding and towels.The owner and service staff were very friendly and proffesional. Even though we have stayed with Abbey Del Sol before we were met by the management on arrival,given a tour of the facilities and shown where/how everything was/worked. We would recommend this location and company to others.

We looked on line when we were getting ready to reserve a place for our stay. Your website said you were booked for the time period we had selected. We booked a hotel room for the night we arrived and went to your office on Sunday, April 8th. Your staff were so accommodating, they worked at finding a way to accommodate us. The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. The daily house keeping was outstanding. Thank you so much for an absolutely amazing vacation. Family Reunion in Puerto Morelos

Reviewer Comments: Our three-generation family vacation including two young grandchildren (ages 4 and 9) found Izamal #1 and #2 the perfect spot to live: bright and clean, in excellent condition, complete furnishing and all appliances, peace and quiet between rooms and, of course, the lovely swimming pool. Support services were abundant and unobtrusive. We found the entire package five star.

Perfect Get Away Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Casa Izamal was a perfect place for our first vacation in Puerto Morelos. The apt was spacious with a well equipped kitchen. The second floor balcony was a great place to relax and enjoy the birds singing in the trees. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the apt was very clean. We really enjoyed the plunge pool and enjoyed reading by the pool during the heat of the day. The location was perfect, with a short walk to the main square and the restaurants. The beach was also a short stroll away. Milko was a great host and we would be happy to return to Casa Izamal for our next holiday.

A Fantastic Place to Stay

The property owner was there when we arrived, and gave us an in-depth tour of the spacious apartment. He is very helpful, and answered all of our questions. Our stay in Izamal #2 was absolutely perfect. The beds are comfortable, and the A/C works extremely well. The property is totally clean, and very well maintained. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Abbey Del Sol, and my stay in Izamal #2. You should stay here!

Lovely spot for families

The apartment had everything we needed and the staff was awesome too. It was clean, plenty of parking and we felt very secure. Great for families, the unit is very spacious.
