We’re Rick and Ashley, and we’re so glad you’ve chosen Pura Vidaville for your adventure. Originally from Canada, we came seeking the magic of the Costa Rican jungle and ended up calling it home. In a wonderful twist of fate, we even found each other here!

We built this property to share the "authentic" Costa Rica we fell in love with—but with the modern comforts we know travelers value. We live just down the road, so we’re always nearby if you need a local tip or a helping hand, but we truly honor your privacy. Consider this your private rainforest retreat. Enjoy every moment!

"Nature First"
We chose this specific neighborhood for its incredible biodiversity. Being tucked away in a rural, forested corridor means we share our backyard with toucans, sloths, and several species of monkeys. It’s a place where 'Pura Vida' isn’t just a slogan—it’s the daily pace of life. We wanted a location that felt deeply connected to the wild heart of Costa Rica, but was still accessible enough to serve as a convenient home base for exploring the northern highlands.

Unlike many jungle stays, we don't think "authentic" should mean "uncomfortable."
